Nations like Israel and Taiwan should consider this closely. They can’t rely on the United States to prevent their destruction. Obama might write up an aid package to bury their dead afterwards, but they’re on their own otherwise. They should also ask a question that our media won’t – is Barack Hussein Obama just gullible or is it that he might sympathize with Iran’s goals?

Our Greatest Collective Sin: Our turning a blind eye toward the oppression of any people’s God given unalienable right of freedom, liberty & the pursuit of happiness is coming home – to your home & to mine.

Like water, power seeks its own level. Power has two poles, one is Good & the other is Evil. Love is the greatest of these and there is no limit to the height that mutual care, respect and understanding will take us. Conversely, Evil knows no lowest level of thought and effect. Its depth is as infinite in misery as great are the highlights of Goodness.

Though we are not perfect, the fruits of freedom are everywhere where those who wish better for their own and their neighbor is not always with fame & fortune, but at least with opportunity. Goodness, therefore, is naturally more powerful than the fear of evil. We only need to apply it for our own sake as well as the sake of those who cower under our enemies.

Unfortunately, by our own inaction to stand up for those who remain under the grip of threats of death and worse – from those like this demon from Hell, Ahmadinejad, we too are now living under the “outsourcing” of their terror to our shores & the land of our neighbors. Even when they wrought their murder on our own innocents, we accepted their terrorism as “collateral damage”, so long as we didn’t rock the boat for the sake of life as usual. Some among us even claim that it is our own doing. How perverted! How delusional!

Are we to hate this enemy? Like a snake that injects its poison with its bite, they are only doing what comes natural to them. Is it even a sin? Aren’t they somehow justified? Some may argue about this. Even still then, the Greatest Evil is doing nothing to stop them. The decision, however, to stop Evil need not be out of hate, nor for vengeance but for Goodness Sake.

We cannot change the past that is filled with holocausts that were, like massacres of today, the result of “minding our own business” while others suffered. Those days are past. But they are back & more sinister and deadly than ever.

If this appeasement of evil continues, it will be our values & the thriving culture they bore that will slip into history, not the evils of these viper terrorists. And, perhaps the saddest part of all is that that history will be written by the likes of President Ahmadinejad.

This failure of freedom will not be the fault of our own Presidents & Prime Ministers. It will not be the fault of our military leaders, men & women. Rather, it will lie at the feet of us, the civilians, the rank & file who failed to support them in their sworn duty to protect us from all powers, foreign and domestic who wish us harm.

If Goodness is truly greater than Evil then the final resolution of peace is inevitable. But how long will the torture, the terror and the loss of loved ones be allowed before the final outcome is realized? This is The Question for Our Time & The Time is Now. Who Will Go First? May God be with those who will go & God help those of us who won’t.

As Obama said in his interview with al-Arabiya, the U.S. will extend the hand of friendship to Iran, if they unclenched their hand first. This is exactly a Chamberlain response to a threatening enemy. The same worn-out idea that dictatorships arise from popular grievances – and thus can be rehabilitated by addressing those grievances – is exactly the tact that Chamberlain mistakenly took with Hitler. Appeasement, whether it be military, economic or diplomatic, does not rehabilitate a bully.

A bully is only emboldened by appeasement – and that is exactly how Ahmadinejad responded to Obama’s weak message of “Yes, we can… all get along.” Ahmadinejad responded with demands – most of us would call them demands of extortion if they weren’t so laughable – in an attempt to humiliate the US. Since Obama appears so cowardly or so intellectually inept – or both – Iran will, of course, jump at the chance to bully the U.S. by playing the victim. And we all know how much a liberal loves a victim…

If you want a nuclear Iran, please, by all means, continue this path of appeasement. Your decisions, Mr. President, will determine the cost in future American lives when an emboldened Iran ships Hamas a nuclear weapon. Recognize your weakness, Mr. President, and resist the urge to give in, give, up, and whither. Stand up to the bully that is Iran. We can either fight them now, through strong, tough-as-nails diplomacy, or fight them later through military means. The difference will be counted in the blood and treasure our children expend on the battlefield.
