The Constitution does not itself create the offense; it only restricts the definition and permits Congress to create the offense. The crime is prohibited by legislation passed by Congress. What kind of President would disarm us, with terrorists living next door and inside our country. Obama’s wants all the guns so there are no more elections.

Why else was his number 1 goal in the stimulous to update Washington D.C. federal buildings. Obamination forgets America is a One Nation under God.

Yeah JDB, you’ll have the same firepower. The only problem is you’re gonna need a lot of clips or mags when they limit them to 3 round capacity. Between prohibitive taxation on ammo and limiting ammo capacity, you’re going to be put at a serious disadvantage if/when push comes to shove.

GilaMonster/you are right. It is old news, that Mexico lied about the 90%, and so that makes Obama the biggest liar, or the dumbest president we’ve ever had. And I picked up on Obama recent statement, he wasn’t going for gun control, it was a sure sign, by the habitual liar, that he meant the opposite. Just as his attack on our wounded soldiers and vets, his wife makes a public appearance her new roll will be to lighten the burden of the soldier. So, anytime you hear Obama say something that sounds okay, look for the opposite to be happening.
Mexico and Obama lying to say it’s our fault.
Yet, Mexico did nothing to control their own cartel, drove their own people over our borders. Don’t forget the books and vidios Mexico gave their people, on surviving the crossing, and teaching them American constitutional rights, for example how to say in English. “Unless you have a warrant, we do not have to open our door. Go away.” The vidio shows the Mexicans huddled in fear, with uniformed police officers with nightsticks banging on doors.

This ass-clown has really made my day. I was genuinely hoping he’d invoke the ire of the gun-owners of this nation, most of which are very good at gun safety, aware of and obey gun laws and operate under a strict code of non-violence. A self-imposed discipline, to be sure.

But, right of the American people to “keep and bear arms” is of no interpretive character. Not to me, not to millions of other Americans.

Let’s just see….if/when this ban occurs…..just how the gubbmint is planning on taking away the ones we already have. Gonna use your campfire kids there Herr O-bow-ma? Or are you gonna get some muslim terrorists to do it for ya? I don’t have any…but if they come to my house to look, they are going to get a healthy sampling of “civil disobedience” in their nuts.

How about some black teenagers who are simply “trying to make a living”?

Given that he is slowly working toward the obvious, it can’t be long before he gets the civil war he so desperately wants. But, he’ll get more than he bargained for. If he thinks the war in Iraq and Afghanistan is a problem, try it in the streets of the US. Or, is that what he wants? So he can mobilize the military under the pretense that “the people won’t surrender their guns”.

Friends, I must confess I am a bit afraid. I live in an area that could become pretty dangerous. As we all know, the outlaws have no problems getting automatic weapons; such things as money, laws, and government tracers won’t affect them.
Goofy is doing his best to screw up the country so law-abiding people have their hands full just taking care of their kids and grandkids, let alone having the wherewithal to defend themselves against such weapons and criminals.
