Obama White House pays women less than men, records show

Female employees in the Obama White House make considerably less than their male colleagues, records show.

According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).

Calculating the median salary for each gender required some assumptions to be made based on the employee names. When unclear, every effort was taken to determine the appropriate gender.

The Obama campaign on Wednesday lashed out at presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney for his failure to immediately endorse the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act, a controversial law enacted in 2009 that made it easier to file discrimination lawsuits.

The Ledbetter law is also known at the Lawyer Full Employment Act.

Naturally, Obama signed it into law as one of his first acts as President, to ‘pay back’ his feminist base.

In fact, we should point out that the Ledbetter law was meant to be a ‘slap down’ of the Supreme Court. Since the Court had ruled in Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., that the 180 day statute of limitations for bring an equal-pay lawsuit begins on the date that the employer makes the initial discriminatory wage decision, not at the date of the most recent paycheck.

The Ledbetter law amends the Civil Rights Act of 1964 so that the 180-day statute of limitations resets with each new discriminatory paycheck. So, as in the Ledbetter case, a claimant can even wait to sue until they are about to retire. Which is a joke.

Now women can decide twenty or thirty years later that they were discriminated against when they were hired. And their employers have to be able to prove that their hiring decision twenty or thirty years ago were not discriminatory.

In fact, Ledbetter turns due process on its head. But it makes the lawyers and feminists happy, and that is all that matters.

President Obama has frequently criticized the gender pay gap, such as the one that exists in White House.

“Paycheck discrimination hurts families who lose out on badly needed income,” he said in a July 2010 statement. “And with so many families depending on women’s wages, it hurts the American economy as a whole.”

It is not known whether any female employees at the White House have filed lawsuits under the Ledbetter Act…

“Women are Obama’s base, and they don’t seem to have enough people who look like the base inside of their own inner circle,” former Clinton press secretary Dee Dee Myers told the New York Times.

In a 2011 article titled “The White House Boys’ Club: President Obama Has a Woman Problem,” TIME magazine’s Amy Sullivan detailed the president’s fondness for male-dominated environments…

As a presidential candidate in 2008, Obama was criticized for paying the women on his campaign staff less than the men, and far less than GOP opponent John McCain paid his female staffers.

Not to mention that Obama’s current campaign staff is overwhelmingly white.

………. And “we” declared war on women? Of course, where else can a house boy out make a maid?

Obama’s 2011 annual report on White House female staff employees earning 18% less than male employees, and his paying females staff less, shows when Obama says something, he is doing the opposite.

Wonder what his half sister got paid who campaigned for him. Wonder if she ever got her U.S. Citizen ship as you can’t have dual citizen ship in Indonesia.

Obama has a history of not like women. He wrote he was angry at the selfishness of his own white mother dating his black father. She was selfish because she wanted to experience an exotic fantasy like the movie she took him to see an old movie in NYC that made him disgusted as he compared the theme to his parents relationship. Wasn’t with her when she died of cancer. Was only with white grandma who raised him, who he humiliated causing her to give up after hip surgery and die in home with hospice and half-sister to keep her sequestered.

Good point Obama pays white women less than minorities and men. And those poor kids that work her garden don’t get paid a penny, except when they got lettuce to take home to their families, whom they were to teach how to grow food.

Perhaps Obama paying women less is revenge for his banker grandmother, world traveling mother, and his wife being the breadwinners in his life. Not aside his Aunts paying to visit Obama in the states, and then pay his way in Africa to include forcing her to pay for a safari she didn’t want to pay her good money for because of her principals the land was land that could be farmed.

What’s a college teacher get paid?

Further he got mad at his Aunt when she told her nephew Obama that he was lucky to live in U.S. He looked around her house with 4 mattresses and all she provided for and said she was making a good living. Michelle’s 1st trip to Africa was probably paid for by Michelle so when she said on the plane trip back it would feel good to get back to America, it hit a sore spot. Too bad they didn’t go live in their home country.

Oh and it doesn’t help when Obama in a strained marriage’s wife did not want to move to DC in the boiling pot, and he enjoyed his renewed state of being a bachelor again living by himself. Can’t believe he wrote things like that.

And Michelle say eating dinner at the WH is the most time she’s ever spent with her.

    He is a deadbeat

Ms. Ledbetter admitted she waited 6 years to sue — a far cry from 180 days. However, Justice Alito, writing for the Court, says: “If Ledbetter had pursued her EPA claim, she would not face the Title VII obstacles that she now confronts.” He also writes: “We have previously declined to address whether Title VII suits are amenable to a discovery rule. …Because Ledbetter does not argue that such a rule would change the outcome in her case, we have no occasion to address this issue.” In other words, she had other options in court.

The Lilly Ledbetter Act was unnecessary and will hobble female employment by creating burdens for potential employers of women.
