Is it telling (or only to those with functional brains) to look at that list and shake our heads at those countries left off? [I know a bit tongue in cheek at his intentional inclusion of those countries the US has tended to marginalize due to their intentions and behaviors]

communicating a message to the Arab world and the Muslim world, that we are ready to initiate a new partnership based on mutual respect and mutual interest – the destruction of Constitutional Republic known to the World as America,then I think that we can make significant progress.

I have Muslim members of my family. I have lived in Muslim countries.

Translation: Don’t kill me, I’m one of you. And I’m going to work overtime to make America a Muslim country.

Ah The One ™ at his best, a mass of flowerly, pretty sounding words to say ‘I am listening’ (in other words – nothing).

I have to wonder why he said he was going to pursue terrorists – isn’t that totally against his decision to address the muslim world from a muslim capital – but oh, so Typical Liberal Person – put forth both sides in the same statement. Reminds me of the Govenor in ‘The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and his song -”Ooh, I love to dance the little sidestep / Now they see me, now they don’t / I’ve come and gone / And ooh, I love to sweep around a wide step / Cut a little swath / And lead the people on!”

That little ditty should be The One’s ™ theme song – he does it so damn well.
