Obama’s Twitterer Is From MoveOn.Org

As we noted earlier, Mr. Obama is seeking to hire a replacement for the person who pretends to be him on his various ‘social networking’ accounts.

The women who held that job until recently is Mia Cambronero, who among her other achievements, is a NOI Fellow:

Mia Cambronero, NOI Fellow, and Lola Elfman, one of NOI’s co-founders

(By the way, note that Ms. Cambronero’s resemblance to Mr. Obama is quite startling.)

And what is the NOI?

From Discover The Networks:

  • Established by MoveOn.org in November 2005
  • Grassroots program that trains young political organizers to work for progressive campaigns and organizations

On November 22, 2005, MoveOn.org Executive Director Eli Pariser announced that his group had created the New Organizing Institute (NOI), "a unique grassroots program that trains young, technology-enabled political organizers to work for progressive campaigns and organizations." Victory in the 2006 midterm elections was NOI’s immediate priority. Said Pariser: "The Internet has made huge changes in politics … Now, our [MoveOn’s] former Organizing Director Zack Exley is working on cultivating the next generation of ‘online organizers’ at the New Organizing Institute. The first step: find 50 talented up-and-coming organizers, put them through an all-expenses-paid training week, and place them on 2006 campaigns where they can really make a difference."

NOI’s mission is threefold: "to train and support a new generation of technology-enabled campaigners"; "to consolidate and disseminate knowledge gained in the field of political technology and online organizing"; and "to conduct new research and post-campaign investigations that employ results-focused, systems thinking to make progressive campaigns and organizations more efficient."

The first NOI training event was held from February 24 through March 4, 2006 in Washington, DC.  Approximately three-dozen trainees took part in intensive seminars and brainstorming sessions, followed by mock campaign simulations that were the capstone of each day’s activities. Another training session was held in August 2006. According to NOI, "graduates" of its trainings would be assigned to "2006 Democratic campaigns in key roles." "After Election Day," said NOI, New Organizing Institute personnel would "help find participants another job, in the world of Democratic Party politics or in a progressive organization."

NOI training is modeled on Campaign Corps’ "Campaign School," a progressive training program for recent college graduates, initiated by EMILY’s List in the summer of 2005. The Campaign School selected and educated 41 young progressives and then dispatched them to work on key campaign races. EMILY’s List is an organizer of NOI.

NOI also holds occasional day-long workshop/trainings for high-level campaign managers, party officials, political consultants, union leaders, and executive directors of leftist organizations. The goal of these workshops is to "fill that gap and overcome the insecurity and alienation felt by too many of our leaders about technology." Within the first two years, NOI anticipates introducing "hundreds of new, talented and trained online organizers and technologists into the job market."

Big surprise, huh?

Note that the NOI was put together by the extremely loathsome Zack Exley. For those of you who might not recognize the name, you can check out his lengthy entry at Discover The Networks.

But suffice to say that Mr. Exley is an activist with the domestic terrorists known as the Ruckus Society. He has also worked as an undercover labor union organizer.

However, his great online achievement was his creation of a ‘phishing’ site, which pretended to be the official website for George Bush.

From Discover The Networks:

Zack Exley

… Exley created GWBush.com, a website that mimicked the official internet site of Texas Governor (and soon-to-be Republican presidential candidate) George W. Bush.

Exley’s Internet site featured bizarre articles purporting to have been written by George Bush and, as the 2000 election neared, images digitally doctored to depict Gov. Bush as a drunkard and a cocaine user…

When Bush lawyers subsequently threatened to sue Exley for using copyrighted photographs digitally lifted from the official Bush website, and when George Bush described Exley as "a garbage man," the resulting publicity brought six million viewers to Exley’s site and made the young programmer an overnight darling of the left.

Exley quickly exploited the opportunity by selling an array of products such as T-shirts and bumper stickers with slogans like: "Bush is a Punk Ass Chump"; "Imperialism: A Way of Life Worth Bombing For"; and "Capitalism: It’s Great in Theory, It Just Didn’t Work in Practice." …

What a perfect choice to be training online activists for the Democrat Party, huh?

Mia appears to be a Soros flunky.

Are you surprised that a MoveOn.org / Soros flunky is an Obamy spokesperson who speaks to more than 10 million people as his voice?

Here’s a picture tieing her to the “New Organizaing Institure”, of which she is a “NOI fellow”

and here is a description of the New Organizing Institute as a Soros-funded MoveOn.org organization:

“New Organizing Institute: Created by the Soros-funded MoveOn.org, this group “trains young, technology-enabled political organizers to work for progressive campaigns and organizations.”

    Thanks for the picture, Pro.

Those cans of Coca-Cola and Sprite have a certain aesthetic appeal.

But all the rest is a dog’s breakfast.

  3. Confucius says:

I wonder if Mia Cambronero is “Ellie Light”?

She sure looks like Ms. Light, who in turn also looks like Obama.

The Democrat Party really is the home of the ugly. Brings a whole new meaning to Tolerance and Diversity.

oh Pro, seriously, that is creepy. Like osama bin laden creepy, as muslims have more than one wife, and lots of aunts, cousins, children, grandchildren. Is it osama or was it his father that had 70 children. Osama had a sister living in NYC, who moved out prior to 9/11 and was suppose to be writing a book that warning us how evil Osama was. Even if Gates managed to get a hair, or beer bottle with DNA, he might not tell the results.

NewsBusters has linked to and commented on S&L’s little discovery about Ms. Cambonero’s background.

“And this is what the person acting as the President’s Twitterer used to be affiliated with.

Color me unsurprised not only that this is the case, but that so-called journalists in the mainstream media haven’t reported it.

Of course, even if they had, the White House might not have answered questions concerning this position for according to the Journal, “Ms. Cambronero and the DNC did not immediately return messages seeking comment.”

Apparently, just another example of that “openness” candidate Obama talked about with his fingers crossed behind his back.”
