The only thing that has really changed is that instead of attacking the aristocracy, now they are attacking the millions of people who have benefitted from free enterprise.

But their chosen tools are still class warfare, now supplemented by race warfare.

I watched a program recently that chronicled the transformation of Germany from a monarchy to a republic to a totalitarian state all within 15 years. I was particularly stunned by the verbatim translation of some of Hitler’s speeches in the early 1930′s and how the language is mirrored in Obama’s speeches today. (The program was filmed long before Obama was a national political figure, so it wasn’t a cherry-picked aggregation of quotes by an anti-Obama producer.) Scary stuff.

Of course, he has done this during his candidacy but without the power of the government behind him.

During the candidacy, it was done two ways. First, through his alliance with the msm, who very effectively hid his background, made fun of anyone pointing out the extremity of his positions, by not informing the public that he was talking in platitudes, by writing thousads of stories about how centrist and reasonable he is, and by disguising and obfuscating his true positions. Second, by playin the race card at will, which he did hundreds of times. The press continues in exactly the same way today, but as President, he isn’t able to play the race card as easily.

But he isn’t satisfied. He doesn’t yet have complete control of the message. Talk radio and Fox News continue unabated, and now some of the groups injured by his policies are beginnning to speak up as well, including articulate and wealthy lawyers and businessmen. (Note however, that O’Reilly is very very careful to praise The Moron at least a dozen times a show. So much for his blowhard courage.)

They are dangerous and must be forcefully and forcibly, if necessary, stopped.

There is some good new here, however. If there was ever a clear bright line for the press, this is it, and there is some chance that Tapper and others will begin to pursue this angle. They couldn’t care less about talk radio and Fox, but there may be some who begin to catch a glimmer that when free speech is shut down, things might not go well for everybody in the press forever.

So I now hope to see some growing legitimate press inquiry into his actions for just that reason.

This is a high priority for BO and an important element of his operating method.

If nothing else he is angling to hang high legal costs on expressions of dissent, criticisms of himself and the expressions in general of his opponents positions.

But the problem is the don’t care any more about the Constitution than they do about restricting your rights.

They can’t be argued down. They have to be defeated. Actually, they have to be crushed because they are like rabid dogs. They never go peacefully.
