Platypus, The media as well as their handlers have philosophy, the truth is what they say it is.
From some sick twisted logic, they define truth as what ever advances their agenda.
As JohnMG points out, no laws were broken, but Sarah must still be guilty of something to appease the liberal soul.
Or in other words, the left hates her simply because she has a moral compass, for right thing, they say she should be prosecuted, or at the very least persecuted.
If she did the wrong thing she would be a stinking liberal, and they would be rushing to her defence!

The inclusion of the state trooper into this situation was a creation by political adversaries aided by the LameStreamMedia. It made for great copy (their viewpoint) because it implied ethical issues existed. Yet nobody seemed to care that Sarah unconditionally denied ever seeking the trooper’s firing, let alone doing an Alaska version of Nixon’s Saturday Night Massacre.

Make no mistake about it – this is an attempted replay of that notorious situation from the Seventies. It will fail no matter how many 263 page reports are generated.

I also think that those Alaska politicians who have tried to whack Sarah’s candidacy better watch out. If McCain doesn’t make it, guess where Sarah goes?

They probably presumed that no one would want to sift through all 263 pages of Branchflower’s BS. I’m only halfway through it, but thus far the inferences he draws from the facts are utterly specious.
