Hmm, seems the charges against Blago ring a familiar tune. Skin color enhanced, of course…

Sadly, corruption is not limited to the Democrats. Two Republican governors have/are serving time in Federal prison. It seems that every Politician has their hands out for some sort of pay to play. We’ve found boxes of cash in their shoe boxes, Ryan somehow didn’t have any personal expenses for years and years….and on it goes. Evan quasi-government is corrupt. My grandfather explained to me how he voted to have toll roads in Illinois only because they would tolls until the roads were paid for. Somehow, they have been there for 50 years, and these roads are still not paid for and are major source of corruption of all kinds.

So almost everywhere we look, there is corruption, pay for play, nepotism., etc. so we as voters have become jaded. Personally, I would like to see amendments to both the Illinois and Federal constitutions for term limits.

Now, if anyone thinks that Blago, the second most consumate Illinois politician, is just going to go down in flames without taking someone with him, I really don’t think you understand that this man has the cajones of King Kong. He just threw a dozen eggs on Harry Reid’s face and is going to watch them dry.

Chicago, and Illinois, is not like any other area in our nation. Everyone is connected, one way or another. And if Blago is facing 10 to 20, don’t think he is not going to pull out the Obama card. If given a choice between his “How I Took Down A Sitting President – Blagogate” book deal and facing being Bubba’s BoyToy In The Big House, which would you take?

My guess is he will never be legally impeached, and removed from office, unless Fitz is ready to reveal all he has to the Illinois senate and there is a reason Fitz has requesed, and received, another 90 day extension before he seeks an indictment against Blago. It’s called “job security” and making sure The Annointed One is annointed.

Ever wonder why Fitz asked for, and received, a posponement on Rezko being sentenced? That little Syrian bird is singing like a canary. That is where Fitz is getting most of his information on Blago, and wanna guess who else?

Blago specifically mentioned (in hostile terms) Rahm Emanuel today in his presser. Dot……..to………dot……to……dot

Now if he or Blago would have been a conservative, what would the result have been?
