Patrick Vows His ‘Support’ For Muslims

From the Boston Herald:

Deval Patrick vows support for Muslims

By Marie Szaniszlo  |   Sunday, May 23, 2010

In his largest meeting with Boston-area Muslims, Gov. Deval Patrick agreed yesterday to take aim at ensuring their rights and addressing racial profiling.

The session came little more than a week after two Bay State Muslims were arrested in a raid following an attempted car bombing in Times Square in New York.

More than 1,100 Muslims attended the forum at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center and Mosque in Roxbury, where Patrick was given one minute to answer “yes” or “no” to seven questions, including whether he would:

Have law enforcement agency heads and others meet with Muslims to discuss the need for cultural awareness training.

How wonderful.

Designate a liaison to the Muslim community.

Urge the public and private sectors to accommodate Muslims’ religious obligation to attend Friday afternoon prayers.

Yes, this is just what the economy needs.

The governor answered yes to every question. Patrick said he had already named a liaison. When it came to prayer times, Patrick said he wants to promote overall religious tolerance.

Beginning his comments in Arabic by saying, “Hello, how are you. I speak Arabic a little,” the governor said the forum was not his first exposure to Islam, noting that he’d lived in Sudan and Nigeria.

“Yours is a peaceful faith, and I know that. I know you are worried that others know that,” he said. The head of one Muslim group said he was interviewed three times in recent years by FBI agents “fishing for something.”

A mother told of walking with her baby in the months after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and feeling terrified when a cab driver pulled up to them and said, “We should kill you all.”

And we believe her.

“We are here for power and for recognition,” said Bilal Kaleem, president of the Muslim American Society of Boston. “We’re against extremism and terror.”

And we believe him.

Speaking of believing, lest we forget, Mr. Patrick was Mr. Axelrod’s previous client before Mr. Obama. He was Obama before Obama was.

And just like Mr. Obama, Mr. Patrick is just an example of what you get when you mix a community organizer with a master of public relations.

“the governor said the forum was not his first exposure to Islam, noting that he’d lived in Sudan”

Did he somehow miss the quarter of a million dead people and 2 million refugees in his backyard? So where was this guy when the Arab Muslims (jangaweed) killed an estimated 300,000 people in Sudan / Darfur?

And tell me how Islam is peaceful when most Muslims support the imprisonment or execution of those who “leave” Islam? And Islamic countries have laws to this effect?

During Obama’s term there have been 2 large failed terrorist attacks by Islamic men that could have potentially killed a thousand Americans. And they were foiled by a t-shirt vendor and flying Dutch guy.

I’m getting pretty sick of being attacked on my own turf by people who don’t believe in religious freedom but who demand special privileges for themselves. Enough with this capitulation by our president and administration. We were safer under Bush.

    • Stop the genocide in Darfur! Send Deval Patrick with a message of peaceful faith!

of course a one way ticket might be all that is necessary…

    • Steve says:

“During Obama’s term there have been 2 large failed terrorist attacks by Islamic men that could have potentially killed a thousand Americans.”

And in the case of the Time Square bomber, admitted involvement from Mohammedans in Mr. Patrick’s own state.

Will Rogers said, “It isn’t what we don’t know that gives us trouble, it’s what we know that ain’t so.” Islam has never allowed others (unbelievers) to live and let live–never.

    • Mithrandir says:

With Islam, (as with liberals) everything is a one-way street. Every moral obligation towards them is to be met 100x over, but they never practice it towards others.

    • Right of the People says:

Isn’t it about time to play cowboys and muslims?

    • mr_bill says:

“…cowboys and muslims” bwahahahaha. Quote of the day week!

  3. proreason says:

“Yours is a peaceful faith” Deval Patrick

    Enough said.

  4. Liberals Demise says:

Where is the separation of “church and state”?
Why is it we have to smell their bile…….and for what?

What we really need is a “Get to know your enemy” picnic on Fridays.
    Let the games begin!!!!

  5. bill says:

Get the boats ready for Friday Prayer, it’s going to be a long ride home.

  6. eaglewingz08 says:

Yes, it’s peaceful just as long as you don’t say anything upsetting to muslims. Then it’s death to infidels. But yeah, they’re real peaceful overall. As long as you don’t try to educate their daughters. As long as you pay the infidel taxes. No problems. And those fifteen thousand terror attacks committed during the past decade by muslims, well, don’t look behind that curtain. Those are probably zionists trying to discredit those peaceful muslims.
As for the supposed cabdriver wishing death to muslims, well, 90 percent of them are muslims or sikhs. I seriously doubt any cabdriver said anything bad to that woman. In fact, in the week after 9/11 I happened to be walking through predominantly muslim shopkeeper section of Brooklyn, NY. Funny, that the muslims were handing out candy, whooping it up (you know that lalalalalalalala sound of celebration), taking family photos with the backdrop of Ground Zero, with victory signs.

  7. mr_bill says:

“He was Obama before Obama was.” Right on Steve, so much truth in so few words.

If you’re a politician, it’s really important to tell people what they want to hear.

  9. Mithrandir says:

I think it was Limbaugh that said this,

“This generation is completely brain-washed with multiculturalism. And our greatest threat, Islam, this generation can’t even identify the threat.”

It’s so true! Had Hitler used Muslim tactics, he could have taken over the world in 2-3 generations with a few 100 bombs to intimidate opposition, instead of 10s of 1000s of bombs that lead to defeat.

    Brainwashed generation. . .

WOW/! All I can add is AMEN!

It’s so refreshing to hear clear truth. And he is exactly right when he says until we get a principle leader to state what he just did, we will continue to chase our tail.

      Excellent…Thanks Canary

I am going to have to send Col. West more money! His bravery is really rather breathtaking in someone running for office. Especially considering who he’s offending.

Moron, traitor? Moron, traitor? Moron, traitor?

    Hmmm …

    Just so hard to decide.

Will somebody please tell the black liberals that you can still buy black slaves from the arabs!!!!!

Just like they used to back in the 17 and 1800’s.

    Bloody hell!

How can he breathe with his head shoved all the way up in there?

    • jobeth says:

lol Very good! I will have to ask that question (arabs and slaves) the next time I run into a black Obalmy supporter.

Can’t wait to see the expression on their face!

“Mr. Patrick was Mr. Axelrod’s previous client before Mr. Obama. He was Obama before Obama was.” Methinks that Mr. Axelrod is quite possibly the greatest puppet-master of all time.

I’ve been reading a book by Rodney Stark, the eminent sociologist and historian of religion called “God’s Battalions: The Case for the Crusades.” Making the case that the Crusaders were not “greedy, colonizing, brutal barbarians” but rather that the Crusades were just, defensive wars designed to repel the Islamic conquest of Europe and to prevent the Holy Land from being destroyed.

The similarities between them and us are remarkable. Before that, in the battle of Tours, it decided that Christians, and not Muslims, should be the ruling power in Europe. It seems that every few hundred years, Muslims gather strength and try and take over the “civilized world.”

The EU will became a Muslim “country” without any major battles. Instead, it will be overthrown from within because of changing demographics. Muslims will be the majority in Europe by 2050. We can then expect Europe to be all under their domination….forever. I was thinking while writing this that the demographics part of this post has all the makings of a really good movie. But, since it’s not politically correct to make one that depicts them honestly, you will never see something like that. Hollywood is only interested in making movies that follow established templates: Christians are bad. Corporations are evil. Environmentalists are mankind’s only hope for survival.

    • Petronius says:

Prof. Stark’s book is worth reading.

One of Stark’s points (as pertinent here) is that negotiating with Moslems is never of any use. This is because the Islamic doctrine of jihad (holy war) makes peace with them unattainable. No lasting peace can be achieved with them except by our surrender. And since surrender to Moslems normally results in death, torture, or enslavement, it is better to fight them to the death. The Crusaders learned this the hard way.

In addition to the ideological problem of jihad, Moslems have proven repeatedly that they are untrustworthy. Moslems do not share our root values, and regard Western traditions of honor, tolerance, nobility, chivalry, and mercy as weaknesses to be exploited. American qualms about racial profiling seem ridiculous to them.

In popular history Saladin is viewed as a paragon of chivalry. Stark shows that this view is false. For example, after the Battle of Hattin (1187), all of the Christian knights who were captured were beheaded. The other prisoners were enslaved. Saladin personally participated in the beheadings until his arms grew too weary, then he enjoyed watching the slaughter of the remaining prisoners while he rested.

  14. jobeth says:

Imagine if he had said he would support Christians…or JEWS!. He would join all the others who take it on the chin for their Christian or Jewish beliefs!

Very recently I’ve noticed that there has been a bit of push back from the right as to the true meaning of separation of church and state…meaning that the govt is not to make laws interfering with a person’s right to worship where ever and when ever etc.

At first I thought “yeah!, ’bout time!”.

Then I was surprised that the left didn’t seem push back so hard…at least as rabid as before.
I stupidly thought maybe we were getting some where.

Then I woke up. This is nothing but groundwork for the muslims to inflict their beliefs into every area of our lives…under our own “govt can make no law against…”

I remember back in the eighties I had a discussion about prayer in school with a guy I had a lot of respect for…another conservative. He said his pastor said it would be better not to force Christian prayer in schools….because…someday a toxic religion would use that reasoning to introduce and force their beliefs on our children.

Well, that pastor had it right and we are watching that evolve right before our eyes. Very soon those parents will demand their children and teachers be provided a room and time to pray all during the day…and of course the school board will continue to demand we accommodate them.

Not Christian or Jewish beliefs of course because someone (muslims) may be offended.

If it wasn’t so heartbreaking and serious it would be a really interesting evolution to watch.

I pray ever day we can rid this country of this menace we call our president and his minions and return to constitutional sanity.

For some reason there seems to be a shocking number of minority citizens who are coming forward to run for office nowadays.

How can they not listen to the persuasive tones of the Baritone in Chief and Rev Al, his new spiritual advisor.

It seems like the military is spawning its share of these dispicable Uncle Toms.

Hey, what has this country ever done for them? I mean, other than being the genesis of the greatest lifestyles in the history of the World, abolishing slavery, defeating Hitler, defeating Communism, elonging lifespans by 40 years, and other inconsequential stuff like that. Dont they know what a paraside Africa is nowadays?
