Cap and Tax is the big one.

But any “User fee” for government services is a tax. And any “penalty” for non-compliance with a government mandate. For example, the fee for medicare goes up all the time. But it’s not a “tax”. And the proposed “fine” for a person not having health insurance won’t be a “tax” either, although at $2500 per person, it would send a lot of money to the government.

And they don’t call the fee for registering your auto a tax in my state. There must be thousands of examples of that around the country.

And let’s not forget the elimination of or capping of tax deductions. Those aren’t technically new taxes either.

I’m convinced they have specialists who spend their lives dreaming this stuff up.

But ALL of these, including Cap and Tax will pale against the biggest non-tax tax of all that is just around the corner…………inflation. That’s why the Moron and his puppet-masters aren’t worried about raising money. They intend to print it. Governments have been doing that ever since money was invented.

Um, WTF??? First of all, there is no need to “frame it”…IT IS a tax increase, plain and simple. Second of all, plenty of groups are justifiably bashing cap and trade, not just Republicans.

Here Nerobama is winning his spurs as a Bolshevik thug–––expropriating $155B from hospitals and $80B from the pharmaceutical industry. Stealing. This is naked theft at the point of a gun. Nationalization. Stealing property from investors. And stealing the future health of Americans. This is the US Government operating as a criminal enterprise.

And Madam Speaker Pelosi says, It’s not enough! Steal more! “As we look, there may be some more ways to get money out of pharmaceutical companies.”

I’m with you, LD: “Unbelievable!!” Simply unbelievable.

But wait. That’s not all.

Nerobama is currently negotiating with the Advanced Medical Technology Association, which represents the medical devices industry––companies like Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, St Jude, C. R. Bard, Boston Scientific, and Zimmer. The plan is to take this segment of the industry for another $50B to $60B. These companies thought they might be exempt from Government theft, because they generally don’t sell directly to patients but instead sell to hospitals. They expected to take a hit from reduced hospital spending occasioned by the $155B rip-off. But now these companies are being asked by the White House to take a direct hit. They are being asked to make rebates.

Time was in America when rebating was considered illegal (an unfair trade practice). Now it is about to become standard operating procedure as the Democrats harvest profits from the medical devices industry and their stockholders.

Welcome to the new Red America.

When money is expropriated from hospitals, patient care will be sacrificed, as will investment in upgrading hospitals and building new hospitals.

When money is expropriated from pharmaceutical companies, research and development, consumer safety, and product quality will be sacrificed.

When money is expropriated from manufacturers of medical devices, technology, and equipment, then R&D, patient safety, quality, and supplies will be sacrificed.

And note that this expropriation from the medical industry is happening without any action by Congress on the pending health care legislation. A Bolshevik revolution without a shot being fired.

This issue should get more discussion than its been getting, because R&D based Pharma is the only way to reduce the high cost of healthcare. Drug therapy is pennies on the dollar of Hospital or Clinic based therapy. Everyone understands this but Pharma is the primary focus of cost reductions. It’s insane.

And the rage and hatred against successful people who who want to live free lives is seeping into their public personnas.
