On the Friday before Memorial Day weekend - when this country honors its bravest and strongest and most devoted to our country and its ideals - we witness this chicken Pelosi coming out too scared and gutless to even affirm why she said what she said about the CIA.

She's a spinelsss chicken without moral conviction and uses her office for her own selfish reason. This is a corrupt, disgusting example of a 'leader' (and I use that term loosely). And Steny Hoyer and the media are just as bad. His appearance at her side (and the media's complicit silence) said they would stand by her - regardless if she is a spineless 'leader'.

There are so many brave men and women in this country, but we've got the biggest cowards in this country's history in congress - and Pelosi is the most disgusting of the lot.

I, personally, say waterboard this brainless, spineless twit until she 'gets' honest and remembers what the CIA told her.

"Isn’t it just staggering that Nancy Pelosi now holds the position in our government that Thomas Jefferson once held"

The Founding Fathers would have given the country back to King George. He was as certifiably insane as Pelosi, but was surrounded by adults, rather than children.

And King George wasn't purposefully trying to destroy his country.

"The Presidential Succession Act of 1792 was the first succession law passed by Congress. The act was contentious because of conflict between the Federalists and Democratic-Republicans. The Federalists did not want the Secretary of State to appear next on the list after the Vice President because Thomas Jefferson was then Secretary of State and had emerged as a Democratic-Republican leader. There were also concerns about including the Chief Justice of the United States since that would go against the separation of powers. The compromise that was worked out established the President pro tempore of the Senate as next in line of succession after the Vice President, followed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives. In either case, these officers were to "act as President of the United States until the disability be removed or a president be elected." * Until the change made in 1947, Robert Byrd would have been next in line behind Joe Biden. Isn't it just staggering that Nancy Pelosi now holds the position in our government that Thomas Jefferson once held? We've come such a long way!

Great post - it was inevitable as the Liberals can't help themselves. They hold 2 of 3 seats of power, are on the edge of pushing the 3rd over the cliff - and they still can't help themselves.

I think Pelosi did this for 2 reasons -the 'constituency' she represents wants the military cut down smaller than the Boy Scouts, unfunded for eternity and humiliated in the process and second, because she continually wants everything blamed on Bush. I found the Supreme Court decision (on tribunals was it?!?) most especially perfect in the - 'as Congress gave the President the power in the wake of 9/11'. Maybe now people will wake up and realize that it is Congress who votes Presidental policy into law and thus is the one mukking up America - and during the 'Bush years' could have stopped him, if they wanted to.

Sadly, it backfired on her - big time. Instead of continuing along with their back-room Dem only bills, shoved down with a one vote 'majority' win with some of the most outragious and un-Constitutional bs ever <del>written</del> added as an amendment - she had to go public - and then keep it going.

Liberalism is indeed a Mental Illness.

"I have made the statement that I’m going to make on this," she told reporters at a Capitol Hill news conference. "I don’t have anything more to say about it. I stand by my comment."

What a disgrace! Yeah .. she'll stand by her comment knowing it's a bald face lie and an insult to all the men and women who work to keep this Country and its' citizens safe. So .. let's just move on, so says Nancy.

What a miserable example of humanity and leadership. Great job "for the kids", Nancy. It's all "for the kids" ay, Nancy.

Disgusting and immoral trashbag; but not a huge surprise. Yuck!!!

What if there was a Wicked Champion of the World--no, Wicked Champion of the U.S.? Pelosi, Frank, Reid, Obama, Waxman...the list is endless. Our guys would be coming out of such a tough conference, that we could justifiably hope they could even contend for the Wicked Champion of the World title.
To get there they'd have to knock off Mugabe and various and sundry other dictatorial types...But I am proud to say, with every fiber of my patriotic being, that they would be a legitimate contender for the world title.
Who's talkin' about the SEC now??

Typical tactic. Wish her into the cornfield. Although, it's happening faster than I expected. First, Hitlery, so anything she says can't be conveyed by the MSM in the first place. Then...Joe Biden. He didn't really reveal anything super-duper-secret but, best to put him on double-secret-probation until he finally learns the hand jive.

Pelosi?

Well, Blammo the monkey-president knew she was gonna be a problem because she's always speaking out of turn but, she was useful as long as it was in line with Blammo's plans. Now, he has grown tired of her and, frankly, her constant screeching is both annoying and unauthorized by Blammo himself so -POOF- to the cornfield.

Gonna get expensive when they have to farm out Fwank, Reid and the odd-Kennedy here and there when they keep "gittin all up in it" about Gitmo.

I tend to think of it as a visible chink in the (poorly made) armor of the democrats to begin with. Because, after all, a paper mache' castle is still water-soluble..

It's the classic Clinton trick, you respond once or twice maybe on your own terms, and from then on out keep saying, 'I've already responded to that, you're being partisan and stuck in the past. Let's talk about the budget'.

"not being distracted in this distracted way...."

"going forward in a bipartisan way..."

"I won't have anything more to say about it....."

She sounds like an immature child who got caught neck deep in a mud pile. Accuse the CIA of lying to her under Bush - then cut off the debate and essentially tell the reporters to shut up about her severe accusation? Yeah, that just *screams* bipartisan.....and openness too!

The nitwit needs another Botox injection to temper that "deer in the headlights" look.
