“What would the government burden be?”

The government burden will be that millions of people will die before there time. 90,000 in the UK, for example, because of “mistakes”. They can’t sue the government either. That number doesn’t count the people who die because of denied care.

All on top of the trillions of dollars it will cost taxpayers.

Government run health care is a transfer of life from senior citizens, who for the most part have spent their lives working productively, raising families and paying taxes………..to illegal aliens and other deadbeat liberals, who have already spent their lives sucking tax-paying citizens dry.

I thought it was left to go after big drug companies and over charging hospitals. Insurance companies have to make a profit, as their pay out, isn’t going to the same each year, they need something in the bank. There is noooo rush. Under a trillion dollars means saving a few drops of a great Lake. No time to read the thousand page small print. Read? they way Obama and his staff write, it has to be studied on of that. Pelosi needs a new doctor, that will say no to her.

Even if it was 1% profit, it’s still that one word that drives the Democrats nuts – “profit”. Unless of course they have their hands in the till, then the profit is justified.

I saw on a comment section some other day the question about naming one government run program that runs well. The idiot lib who was trying to show how clever she thought she was, says the WW 2 industrialization of America, Victory Gardens and War Bonds were classic examples of how well the Govt runs things. LOL

Insurance company profits are what – 10%? 12%? What would the government burden be? Inefficiencies alone would be at least 30%…

It’s a sad affair the stupidity of the common citizen. As someone noted the other day – name me one government program or agency that runs efficiently? But profits are evil. Right…

Seems right out of the ‘ol dumb populism playbook to me.
Insurance companies are problematic only because patients and doctors have delegated so much of the consumer/ provider relationship directly to them. But if it becomes a bureaucratic nightmare we can always negotiate with a provider on our own terms. I’d take that over having to get a back-alley hip replacement any day of the week.
