I don't mean to be cynical, but I do remain very skeptical that he is telling the truth this time around and the book just adds to my speculation. So that was why he had to lie about war crimes which probably resulted in more U.S. deaths, and fueled hatred of the militrary here and around the world. Totally understandable. And he's sorry now.
