I do have money invested in the U.S. economy, despite not having a landline.

Older folks probably are more likely to have a landline, that’s true but just because you don’t have a landline does not mean you do not have an investment in the future of our country.

IMO, the people who actually have money invested in the US economy are older folks who have landlines. That would explain why they were not called.

You’re not the only one who saw The One’s hair changing color throughout the campaign. I was listening to Jim Geraghty on the way home yesterday, who’s guest hosting the Hugh Hewitt radio program. He was saying the same thing as you: he noticed Obama’s hair changed from dark, to a little gray at temples, and back again more than once before the election. He was also making fun of the NYT putting the earth-shaking story of Dear Leader’s hair color on the front page.

I have to disagree also, I have been “landline” free since 2001, I do not see the need for a landline phone that I never used, and being a natural tightwad at heart I never wanted to pay for something I saw no use for.

But I can understand your point about mostly younger people were polled.
