I grew up in a communist society where “we were all equal” and we all had enough – yes my Dad drove a Yugo just like everyone else, while the political elite drove luxury imports!

My Dad was an engineer and my Mom a university professor. Had we lived here in the US, with their incomes, we’d be labeled as “rich” by Obama’s new tax standards….

In reality, 70% or my parents’ income was going towards utilities and food. My Mom’s salary could barely cover our heat bill during cold Bosnian winters.

The bottom line is – THERE WAS NO DISCRETIONARY INCOME. I grew up wearing clothes my older cousin could not fit any more. There was no market competitions, no new products designed (except for the YUGOs), no reason to do anything extraordinary as there was no reward for it!!!

What we had was crappy nationalized healthcare and a lot of free time, as we had no reason to work. Why would you sweat when there is no reward for it.
Just think about it, nothing that is valued nowadays was discovered in a communist society.

My aunt never worked as she had a doctor who would authorize her so called “home recovery” treatment. It meant she would not have to go to work and the employer had to pay her. She would show up 1-2 days a month, and now she’s retired. Never worked more than a few months at a time, but had money to do things!

Now on those “voluntary” services; we had those in former Yugoslavia as well. If you did not show up for those there was a gov’t agency that would make sure you do not miss the “next event”.
My uncle had an SUV for his business. He had to “donate” that vehicle for weeks at a time for military exercises; after which it would be returned to him completely trashed!

Educated and smart people were especially watched by various gov’t agencies as they posed threat for the ruling regime.

The bottom line is, we slid into a civil war that killed over 2.5% of the total population. S

COMMUNISM is like hyperthermia; you give up and start a slow and irreversible process of decomposition!

It is the millennium.

It’s the first time in my life that I that I have thought that maybe Congress had grounds for impeachment before Inauguration Day. But, jeez what am I thinking??? They (along with a massive media blackout) created the smokescreen to get him elected!

He thinks $32B annually for that little piece (3% of income tax receipts….do your own math for the impact to you).

But he doesn’t take a shot at the big enchilada. Here are his thoughts:

Fits doesn’t it? Can’t have these kids actually be able to think and discern for themselves can he? Smart kids can expose his minions and their ideas.

Thank God for these homeschooled kids. At least someone will be able to think for themselves. These kids will know how to fish…not depend on having the government give them one…after they jump thru the gov hoops and tow the “party line”.

Most of these kids have been raised in God fearing conservative homes so not only can they think but have also been taught true history! What a concept! Maybe they will be able to NOT repeat the mistakes our gov educated kids are making now..ie accepting Socialism/Communisum. They are America’s hope. Not O and company.

I am glad I am not the only one who can see that O is only a front for the larger machine who put him out front to give a slick “pretty” face on their true plans.

I’m older now..and for the very first time in my life I am truly fearful for my beloved country.
