‘Protesters’ Attack WalMart In LA, Hispanic In MD

From a quietly cheering Associated Press:

Zimmerman protesters raid LA store, stop freeway

By RAQUEL MARIA DILLON | July 16, 2013

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Protesters ran through Los Angeles streets Monday night, breaking windows, attacking people on sidewalks and at one point raiding a Wal-Mart store, while others blocked a major freeway in the San Francisco Bay Area in the third night of demonstrations in California over George Zimmerman’s Florida acquittal in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

They attacked a Wal-Mart. That’s ‘a twofer’ for the AP.

Thirteen people were arrested after multiple acts of vandalism and several assaults in Los Angeles’ Crenshaw District, Mayor Eric Garcetti and Police Chief Charlie Beck said at a news conference…

And they have undoubtedly already been released on their own recognizance.

More than 300 officers were called to the scene and were at first slow to directly engage protesters in an attempt to allow a peaceful end to the demonstration, Beck said.

"Demonstration"? Was it a demonstration of how to riot? And why were they "slow" again? What is their job exactly?

But the chief said police would take a much stricter posture in the coming nights. "This will not be allowed to continue," Beck said.

They will crack down any minute now.

Several hundred mostly peaceful protesters gathered Monday night at Leimert Park southwest of downtown LA, many of them chanting, praying and singing.

But a smaller group of between 100 and 150 people splintered off and began blocking traffic on nearby Crenshaw Boulevard, some of them jumping on cars and breaking windows at liquor stores and fast food outlets.

It’s always the 100 to 150 bad apples that give these ‘peaceful demonstrations’ a bad name.

Several protesters ran into a Wal-Mart store, where they knocked down displays before store security chased them out, and police began guarding the door…

TV news helicopters showed some people kicking and punching others along the street, including two people sitting on a bus bench…

When they took out time from their "praying."

In Oakland, dozens of demonstrators briefly blocked all lanes of Interstate 880 at the tail end of rush hour, stopping traffic in both directions for several minutes before lanes were cleared by authorities. Several protesters laid their bicycles on the ground in front of stopped cars…

The freeway protesters broke off from a larger group organized via social media that gathered at Oakland City Hall about an hour earlier.

More bad apples.

More than a half-dozen people were arrested on charges of vandalism and assault, both felony and misdemeanor, Oakland police spokeswoman Johnna Watson said…

And they also have undoubtedly already been released on their own recognizance.

Meanwhile, from a continent away, via a quietly cheering Baltimore Sun:

Witness claims youths yelled ‘this is for Trayvon’ in beating

By Justin George | July 15, 2013

Baltimore police say they are investigating a witness account that a group of black youths beat a Hispanic man near Patterson Park Sunday while saying, "This is for Trayvon."

Was he a white Hispanic?

A witness posted the account on a community Facebook page, and police confirmed they are looking into whether the suspects’ reaction to the verdict in the Florida trial of George Zimmerman played a part in the incident. A police report on the beating does not mention the alleged comments…

Perhaps because the only person they interviewed, the victim, does not speak English.

In a post that drew nearly 50 comments on Facebook, real estate agent Christina Dudley said she was walking to her car just before 9 p.m. when she saw several young black males and two black females chasing a 37-year-old Hispanic man west on North Linwood Avenue past East Fairmont Avenue.

"One of the boys had a handgun out and it was pointed at the back of him," Dudley said in an interview.

They caught up to the man at the corner of Fairmount and N. Streeper Street, and the male with the gun beat the victim with what appeared to be his gun while others kicked and stomped him, Dudley said.

"They were just yelling and calling him names as they ran after him, but once they were hitting him and after that they started yelling, "This is for Trayvon, [expletive]," said Dudley, who heard the chant repeated multiple times.

They were probably praying.

Dudley and a woman walking her dog across the street told the group to stop and warned that they were calling 911. The group scattered before police arrived. Police have no arrests or named suspects…

And they have no intention of finding any.

Using a translator, police spoke to the victim, who knows some English, according to the police report…

Perhaps that’s why there was no mention of the ‘This is for Trayvon’ in the police report.

Police listed all of the suspects involved as black males. Three were "skinny" while one was described as overweight.

Dudley, who lives in the neighborhood, said she worries about her Hispanic neighbors and said she and other residents were looking for ways to warn them of the incident beyond Facebook. Patterson Park has one of the city’s highest concentration of Latinos and is home to the city’s annual Latino Fest…

What a profiling racist she is.

  1. How would we have ever made it to this point in post racial America without the calming influence of Lil’ Hussein? Martin Luther King, Jr. must be proud. The dream is fulfilled…..

  2. Note To Rioters:

When minorities riot they burn down their own neighborhoods. When you finally push The Majority to this kind of rage, we burn down everything.

    Please remember that.

These types of urban unrests are merely a social toilet flush to my eyes. I don’t live in a liberal cars pool city and don’t care if they catch on fire. For those poor real Americans still not these dumps, I recommend you just leave. I know it was your home once, and it could be again once the scum tire themselves out, but you won’t be able to supervise the reconstruction of your communities from the grave.

Or if your an adrenaline junkie or you just can’t abandon the home front I understand. Just remember clear front sight post/fuzzy target, squeeze don’t jerk the trigger, reload whenever there is an opportunity not when you go dry, and always have an alternate position with a secured egress route to reach it . Defense 101, best I can do for you as far as online advice.
