Putin Mouthpiece: Russia Can Turn US To Ash

Russia can turn U.S. to radioactive ash: Kremlin-backed journalist

By Lidia Kelly | March 16, 2014

MOSCOW (Reuters) – A Kremlin-backed journalist issued a stark warning to the United States about Moscow’s nuclear capabilities on Sunday as the White House threatened sanctions over Crimea’s referendum on union with Russia.

"Russia is the only country in the world that is realistically capable of turning the United States into radioactive ash," television presenter Dmitry Kiselyov said on his weekly current affairs show. Behind him was a backdrop of a mushroom cloud following a nuclear blast.

Russians are so subtle. Still, we wonder how many in our news media quietly cheered when they heard this threat? Hell, how many in the Obama administration cheered?

Kiselyov was named by President Vladimir Putin in December as the head of a new state news agency whose task will be to portray Russia in the best possible light…

Which means that comrade Kiselyov is the functional equivalent of the head of MSNBC in our country. That is, if you substitute Obama for our country.

Kiselyov is an outspoken defender of Putin and once caused outrage by saying the organs of homosexuals should not be used in transplants…

Now that is something that might have made Obama sit up and take notice.

Meanwhile, from the Washington Free Beacon:

Russian Inspectors to Check U.S. Nuclear Cuts Amid Ukraine Crisis

By Bill Gertz | March 17, 2014

Russian arms officials will arrive in the United States on Monday to conduct an inspection of U.S. strategic nuclear facilities amid heightened tensions over Moscow’s military incursion into Ukraine and a U.S. ultimatum to withdraw the forces.

Additionally, a team of Russian arms inspectors are set to arrive in San Francisco for the treaty-permitted inspection that will take place days after Moscow threatened to cancel similar U.S. inspections in Russia.

The go-ahead for the inspection, which is being kept officially secret under rules outlined in the 2010 New START treaty, reflects the administration’s national security priority of supporting arms control treaties despite recent disclosures that Russia has failed to comply with several nuclear and military accords.

Well, Obama won’t let anything Putin does stop him from gutting nuclear arsenal or our military. He has his priorities.

Russia’s state-run RIA Novosti news agency reported March 8 that the Defense Ministry is considering a ban on U.S. nuclear inspections under the New START treaty if the administration suspends military cooperation with Russia over the Ukraine invasion.

Why bother to ban our inspectors? Obama lets them get away with cheating, anyway.

Allowing the arms inspection also appears to undermine Secretary of State John Kerry’s ultimatum to Moscow last week that it will face sanctions if Russian troops are not pulled back from Crimea and Ukraine’s eastern borders. Kerry told a Senate hearing Thursday that unless there is progress on the troop removal, “there will be a very serious series of steps on Monday.” …

Oh, our sides.

Between the president and SOS Kerry getting b!tch-slapped around on the global stage and O-Care screwing tens of thousands of Americans, I am starting to get a faint glimmer of hope about the 2014 elections.

However, November is a looong ways away when you have a complicit media.

Russia can’t turn America into a wasteland.

    That’s Nerobama’s job.

Well, given the apparent state of our Minutemen forces, I sure as hell hope morale and training are up to standards in our Boomer crews ..

This is a great self-rotating gadget, no fuel, battery, and you could carry it a pouch on a horse. It replaced my crowbar. Luckily never had to use it so it’s still sharp. I can’t beleive it’s double the price, but everything has doubled in price.
