Sure, Chuck. Greedy rich people (anyone with a private sector job) will pay for universal healthcare, cap & trade, ~~stimulus~~ stimuli, runaway deficits, union bailouts, and midnight basketball.

I still wonder why and how this streak mark on toilet paper is in office. You and I would have long ago been sent to jail for the laws he broke. Yet he gets to make and overlord tax laws he himself will not abide by. (and barry in Ghana telling their leaders to stop the corruption by elected people…..that’s rich)

Haha, so true, ProR. The Democrats’ fascination with meaningless numbers is by now stunning. Remember these –

–”90% of the time McCain voted with Bush.”
–”90% of the jobs created by the stimulus plan will be in the private sector.”
–”5 million green collar jobs.”

This figure of reducing Medicaid and Medicare by $500 billion, though, seems like it belongs in a class by itself. It’s so shameless. I was just curious as to whether there was any formula, no matter how flawed, that served as the basis for stating it. Or is it just a pure case of “why don’t you mind your own God-d—-d business?”

Why do you ask such a question?

The mere fact that RANGEL is the CHAIRMAN of the committee that writes tax laws tells you everything you need to know about the state of the country. It’s so far outside the realm of rationality that to even be in a position to say that one fact means that the country is in greater peril than it has ever been.

Where did he even get the figure of $500 billion? It sounds like some random pseudo-statistic the Democrats like to pull out when they’re deep in an argument and need a way out quickly. The other tactic is to say, “Why don’t you mind your own God-d—-d business?” which is what Rangel said to Jason Mattera when Mattera asked him about the unpaid taxes and rent control fraud on Rangel’s real estate.

Who needs reparations?

This by itself is a 1.1 Trillion dollar redistribution.

That’s about $25,000 per “African American” right there.

And that is just babyt step 1.

By the way, I wonder how many elderly white people would die because of that Medicare cut. And does anybody really think Medicaid, which is the African American version of Medicare (the free version), will be cut. To say it is to laugh.

And let’s not forget the Alternative Minimum Income Tax. That one was only supposed to affect a few of the richest taxpayers too. But since it wasn’t indexed for inflation, it now affects a large number of taxpayers with relatively modest incomes as well.
