Rasmussen: 42% ID With Tea Party, 42% Obama

From Rasmussen:

42% Identify with Obama Politically, 42% with the Tea Party

Tuesday, October 29, 2013

Voters are evenly divided when asked whether they agree more politically with President Obama or with the average member of the Tea Party. But an enormous partisan gap colors virtually all opinions of the Tea Party.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 42% of Likely U.S. Voters think the president’s views are closest to their own when it comes to the major issues facing the country. But just as many (42%) say their views come closest to those of the average Tea Party member instead. Sixteen percent (16%) are not sure.

So as many people support the Tea Party as support Obama? Even though we are constantly told that the Tea Party is the fringe of the lunatic fringe.

And you can bet that the numbers supporting conservatism would be even higher if you took away the labels. After all, most people actually live their lives by the very principles conservatives espouse.

This marks a small setback for the Tea Party from April 2010 when 48% felt closest to the average Tea Party member, while 44% said they had more in common with the president.

Could the news media’s relentless jihad against the Tea Party have anything to do with that?

Thirty-four percent (34%) now believe their personal views are closest to those of the average member of Congress when it comes to the major issues of the day. But slightly more (36%) say their views are closest to those of the average member of the Tea Party

Someone should tell the GOP leadership.

Opposition by Tea Party Republicans to the president’s national health care law has been blamed for the recent government shutdown, and just 30% of voters now have a favorable opinion of the Tea Party. That’s back to the level seen in January and down from a high of 44% in May after it was disclosed that the Internal Revenue Service was targeting Tea Party and other conservative groups…

But 32% feel the Tea Party has become more influential over the past year, up from 25% in late August before the shutdown began. Twenty-eight percent (28%) say the Tea Party is less influential now. Thirty-three percent (33%) say the group’s influence is about the same.

One-in-three voters (34%) considers the Tea Party movement good for the county, but 43% describe it as bad for America. Thirteen percent (13%) say neither is the case. These findings have changed little since early January…

So the government ‘shutdown’ really didn’t make any difference for the Tea Party, one way or the other.

Even prior to the shutdown, voters who approve of the president’s job performance were slightly more likely to consider the Tea Party a bigger terrorist threat to the United States than radical Muslims…

If that’s true, then Obama supporters are truly lost souls. Though this could just be chalked up to them believing everything Obama and his news media says.

At the same time, 78% of Republican voters think it’s important for their party leaders to work with the Tea Party, with 45% who consider it Very Important.

Again, someone needs to tell that to the Republican leadership.

But then 57% of GOP voters have a favorable opinion of the Tea Party movement. Seventy-seven percent (77%) of Democrats and a plurality (47%) of voters not affiliated with either major party view the movement unfavorably…

For the third week in a row, Democrats lead Republicans on the Generic Congressional Ballot. But 47% of voters believe neither party represents the American people.

So this poll can’t be all that biased to the right.

Manufactured Polls result in positive feedback. Positive feedback in machinery causes it to oscillate out of control and eat itself alive.

    We’re done here.

      lying under oath!

US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

” I will have the most transparent administration.
I will restore trust in Government.”

      from Day One

      its behind closed doors!

In 2009, Chief Justice John G. Roberts, while administering the oath to Barack Obama, incorrectly recited part of the oath. Roberts prompted, “That I will execute the Office of President to the United States faithfully.” Obama stopped at “execute,” and waited for Roberts to correct himself. Roberts, after a false start, then followed Obama’s “execute” with “faithfully”, which results in “execute faithfully,” which is also incorrect. Obama then repeated Roberts’ initial, incorrect prompt, with the word “faithfully” after “United States.”
The oath was re-administered the next day by Roberts at the White HouseOn January 21, 2009, Chief Justice Roberts administered the presidential oath a second time to Barack Obama “out of an abundance of caution,” according to the White House, because, when the oath was administered to President Obama the first time in the public inauguration ceremony, the word “faithfully” was misplaced. The second oath was administered in a simple, private ceremony in the Map Room of the White House.
Obama’s oath-retaking differed from all his predecessors’ in that the private ceremony happened after the public one. Obama’s two oaths in 2009 and his two oaths in 2013 tie him with President Franklin D. Roosevelt, each taking the oath four times, the most ever recorded.

Maybe, it’s a good time for a nation-wide tea party. Or is it better to give it time for more people to check out exchanges.

On Feb 25, 2010 Barack Obama is on video speech –

“Actually, any insurance that you currently have would be grandfathered in so you could keep it.

So you could decide not to get in the exchange the better plan.

I could keep my Acme Insurance, just a high deductible catastrophic plan.

I would not be required to get the better one.

That’s what I said when I was running for office….
On Oct 29 2013 Barack Obama is on video saying

“One of the things health reform was designed to do was to help not only the uninsured but also the under-insured,” Obama said. “And there are a number of Americans, fewer than 5 percent of Americans, who’ve got cut-rate plans that don’t offer real financial protection in the event of a serious illness or an accident.

“Remember, before the Affordable Care Act, these bad apple insurers had free rein every single year to limit the care that you received or used minor pre-existing conditions to jack up your premiums or bill you into bankruptcy.”

Question: How can insurers bill you into bankruptcy?
Answer: Only if Obama makes you pay for expensive insurance companies.
Question: What insurance company guarantees paying unlimited medical care

Question: What do we know about these government required insurance companies?
