FOCUS: Bulgaria-Turkey border fence to start functioning on July 20: MP

    17 July 2014

“Defence facility at the Bulgarian-Turkish border is almost ready and it will be finalised by July 20,” said Yanko Yankov, MP with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and chairperson of the parliamentary committee on defence, speaking for Radio FOCUS.

“It will be hard for a person to overcome this fence, it is almost impossible,” he remarked.

“Movement for Rights and Freedoms” built the border fence. Looks pretty cheap to me.

MalayMail: Bulgaria under Fire over Anti-refugee Border Fence

…fortified with razor wire coils, was completed this week.

Amnesty International condemned Bulgaria and Greece — another EU neighbour of Turkey, which has become a key transit point for Syrian refugees to Europe — for repeatedly rejecting refugees.

“In their determination to seal off their borders, the European Union and its member states are putting the lives and rights of refugees and migrants at risk,” Amnesty International said in a report last week.

Duty to protect Interior Minister Tsvetlin Yovchev noted recently that police officers on the border “manage to prevent the entry of an average 150-200 persons per day”.

“We are on the EU’s external border and we’re supposed to protect it from illegal immigrants,” the head of the state agency for refugees, Nikolay Chirpanliev, told AFP yesterday.

Rueters: Bulgaria’s Fence to Stop Migrants on Turkey Border Nears Completion

By Stoyan Nenov Goliam Dervent Jul 17, 2014

(Reuters) – Bulgaria has largely completed the construction of a 33-km (21-mile) barbed wire fence at the border with its southeastern neighbor Turkey as it tries to cope with asylum seekers, its defense minister said on Thursday.

The EU’s poorest country started to build the three-meter-high fence in January, following the example of Greece, which built a similar barrier in 2012 to cope with a soaring number of refugees, mainly from Syria.

“This is a facility that prevents the illegal crossing of the border.
The aim is to transfer such attempts to the border check points as it is done in every other country,”
Defense Minister Angel Naidenov told reporters at the border.

The United Nation’s refugee agency UNHCR has repeatedly appealed to the Balkan country to have an “open door policy” and has expressed concerns about pushbacks at the border with Turkey.

“The aim is to transfer such attempts to the border check points as it is done in every other country,”
Defense Minister Angel Naidenov told reporters at the border.”

The fence reminds me of the Slinky Toy. Imagine giant razor shop Slinky toys along the border.

A spring, a spring, a marvelous thing! It shoots so high in the sky.
Bounce up and down just like a clown
    Everyone knows its Slinky.

    Everyone knows it’s Slinky.
    It’s Slinky, it’s Slinky,
    It’s fun, it’s a wonderful toy.
    It’s Slinky, it’s Slinky, it’s fun,
    It’s a wonderful toy.
It’s fun for a girl or a boy.

It shoots so high in the sky.
Bounce up and down just like a clown
    Everyone knows its Slinky.

FoxNews: US Covertly Turns to Catchy Tunes and Mass Radio to Tackle Border Crisis

Obama heard the song mentions “the Beast” and has ordered it to be played over and over
This would mean Obama is telling radio stations in Mexico what songs to play, convertly.

However in the US Obama has more control over illegals songs. News reported two songs the illegal immigrant
children being taken care of at Ft. Sill Oklahoma know by heart now.

    English Version of
Billy King (He’s not my child) by Michael Jackson

Billie Jean is not my lover
She’s just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son

For forty days and forty nights
The law was on her side
But who can stand when she’s in demand
    Her schemes and plans

She told my baby we’d danced till three, then she looked at me
Then showed a photo my baby cried his eyes were like mine (oh, no!)
(you know what you did, (she says he is my son)breaking my heart babe)

Second song children learning word for word
in Spanish version from movie “Frozen” – First Time in Forever, Reprise

(this was the song that many complained was a lesbian song)

    in part:

    Please don’t slam the door
You don’t have to keep your distance anymore
‘Cause for the first time in forever

    I finally understand
For the first time in forever
We can fix this hand in hand
We can head down this mountain together
You don’t have to live in fear
‘Cause for the first time in forever
    I will be right here

    Please go back home
    Your life awaits
    Go enjoy the sun
    And open up the gates
    You mean well
    But leave me be
Yes, I’m alone but I’m alone and free
Just stay away and you’ll be safe from me
    Actually, we’re not
What do you mean you’re not?
I get the feeling you don’t know
    What do I not know?
Arendelle’s in deep, deep, deep, deep snow
‘Cause for the first time in forever
    I’m such a fool
    I can’t be free
You don’t have to be afraid
No escape from the storm inside of me
We can work this out together
    I can’t control the curse
We’ll reverse the storm you’ve made
Anna, please, you’ll only make it worse
    Don’t panic
    There’s so much fear
We’ll make the sun shine bright
    You’re not safe here
We can face this thing together
We can change this winter weather
    And everything will be…
    I can’t!

These words are convertly being inbedded in their minds

    I am serious.

    GM Does/Doesn’t Kill The Volt

GM scraps European version of Chevy Volt

The head of General Motors’ money-losing European unit Opel said Wednesday the automaker will halt sales of the Detroit-built plug-in hybrid Opel Ampera after disappointing sales.

“After the eventual run-out of the current generation Ampera, we’ll introduce a successor product in the electric vehicle segment,” Opel chief Karl-Thomas Neumann said in a posting on Twitter. “Our next electric vehicle will be part of our massive product offensive — with 27 new vehicles in the 2014-2018 time frame.”

The Ampera is the European version of the Chevrolet Volt and was a winner of the 2012 European Car of the Year. Both the Volt and Ampera are assembled at GM’s Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly plant. GM is working on the second-generation of the Volt.

Yes, doubling down on failure is a success story only socialism/fascism can write.

Volt sales have also struggled and never met GM’s initial forecasts for sales growth.

This is mainly due to pie-in-the-sky forecasting by post-graduate weenies looking to rise in the socialist party. But hey, it’s only money and ….. socialism uber alles!

Volt sales fell 34 percent in June in the United States to 1,777 and are down 12.6 percent this year to 8,615. GM — like many other automakers — cut prices of its plug-in hybrid Volt last year. GM is also offering hefty incentives for its slow-selling plug-in Cadillac ELR, which has sold just 390 vehicles in the first six months of the year.

Please remember that in 1957/58, Ford introduced the Edsel which came in four different trims and, due to poor sales, was fated for termination by the end of the 1960 model year.

    From Wiki:

In the first year, 63,110 Edsels were sold in the United States; an additional 4,935 units were sold in Canada. Though below expectations, this nevertheless represented the second-largest launch for any new car brand to date

Get that? 63,110 units sold in the US and almost 5,000 in Canada.

Cadillac’s plug-in electric car has sold 390 units and the year is half over.

Is it possible that GM, without government control and our tax dollars, would put up with sales like that of a high production cost vehicle that doesn’t get “out the door”? (sold?)

Of course not. Your tax dollars and mine are hard at work funding a disaster.

If Americans were paying attention, they would realize that the government is into GM permanently and destructively. Socialism ruins everything it touches. It cannot be made to work no matter how much money is made available because after 90% of it is wasted on corruption, the rest is wasted on unicorn farms.

    I despise Chris Christie.
Chris Christie, Head of the Republican Governors Assoc slammed Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino who is running for NY Governor – says his group doesn’t waste its time with “lost causes.” Astorino said maybe Christie needs to step down if he isn’t will to work with Republicans running for governor. (Cuomo and Christie are covering each other’s asses over Bridgegate). Rick Perry former Head of the Republican Gov Assoc got wind of what Christie said about Astorino. He sent out this tweet at the Republican Gov Assoc meeting in Aspen.

Astorino has a pretty good chance in November. He is pro=secondment, Catholic, speaks spanish fluently and has deep connections with the NY archdiocese. I live in Westchester County NY. Astorino can get the majority of the votes in upper NY state, Long Island, Westchester County. He is running with a pro-second amendment sheriff. He is an upstate African-American law enforcement executive, Chemung County Sheriff Christopher Moss. Moss is president of the New York State Sheriff’s Association.Chemung County is about 230 miles northwest of New York City.
