Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Bill Clinton (C-SPAN)
    Video YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxGCo91b614
    Text via Washington Times:http://tinyurl.com/p56qvql

“They can’t have it both ways. And so I really think that anybody who wants to take money from Bill Clinton or have a fundraiser has a lot of explaining to do. In fact, I think they should give the money back,”
Is this guy reading my posts on S&L? It’s about time the Republicans started adopting my strategy. Negative news is flying out the door, so the democrats have to play damage control, well played!
If they asked me on t.v. what color the sky is, I would say,
“Well, I can tell you one person who will never know what color the sky is, and that’s Mary Jo Kopechne, whom democrat Ted Kennedy killed in a drunk driving accident while his pregnant wife was at home with the kids, and later had a miscarriage because of the stress by Ted.” (even if it was, “a long time ago.”)

DEMOCRAT Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri (who said she didn’t want her daughter around Bill Clinton, had to step up and erase those negative points she accumulated in the democrat SCORE-KEEPING LOG) feebly tried to defend Bill Clinton.

“I think most women understand that they should not be held accountable for the behaviors of their husbands. And you know, frankly, it was a long time ago, and our country did very well under the leadership of Bill Clinton,” Ms. McCaskill told MSNBC.

PUH! Really? These are democrat rules, that NEVER APPLY to Republicans. You run for office as a Republicans EVERYTHING is fodder! Newt Gingrich’s EX-WIFE was dragged out before the public, MItt Romney’s high school hijinks of bullying was dragged out. They dug through Sarah Palin, and George Bush’s garbage to find “evidence.” Clarance Thomas was accused without evidence. A rock was flipped over where Rick Perry hunts, to find a disparaging word he never wrote, Ron Paul was attacked for newsletters 20 years ago that he didn’t even write.

    1. In politics WOMEN ARE accountable for their family’s behavior, –ask Sarah Palin.
    2. “It was a long time ago.” Bill will help Hillary campaign and raise money, AND will be back at the White House if they win, it doesn’t matter how long ago it was, it’s relevant. (Benghazi was “a long time ago” too.)
    3. Bill Clinton did well in office because he had a Republicans forcing his hand.

Democrats have the lamest excuses and rebuttals I have ever seen! Republicans should keep pounding away at their terrible track record, and make them defend it at every turn.

Saul Alinsky’s 12 Rules for Radicals

      * RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. (This is a serious rule. The besieged entity’s very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch it lying or not living up to its commitments, they can continue to chip away at the damage.)

Democrats HATE this, a quiet Republican they can tolerate, a backstabbing Republican like John McCain or Colin Powell, they adore, but one on the offensive? –nightmare!

For every 1 attack, the democrats will run 100 articles, puff-pieces, t.v. commentaries, radio sound-bytes PRAISING and uplifting the carefully crafted propaganda message about Bill Clinton they spent years making, or rebrandishing.

Rand Paul keeps attacking Bill Clinton. Why?
From a totally flummoxed Washington Post: http://tinyurl.com/q7om5qu

(Reporter Chris Cillizza) What gives? We put that question to a handful of Republican strategists — both those in the Paul orbit and those outside of it. Here’s the responses we got to explain Paul’s repeated hits on Clinton.

Rand Paul is just treating Bill Clinton like a Republican, that’s what gives. It’s about time to see some of these people spend a percentage of their time playing defense once in a while. And all the while, this reporter scratches his head as if he doesn’t understand the nature and tactics and politics.
“Gee, what’s all these sudden and unsubstantiated attacks on Bill Clinton who has absolutely NOTHING TO DO with Hillary Clinton and her desire for the highest office in the land? Just doesn’t make any sense!”

Fake confusion and outrage about a man who couldn’t live up to his own party’s pro-women platform. How’s that Saul Alinsky medicine tasting right now liberals?

BreitBart: Wendy Davis Sued Newspaper for Damaging Her Mental Health, Future Prospects

by John Sexton 1 Jan 2014

After losing a race for City Council in 1996, Wendy Davis filed a lawsuit against the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram citing “defamatory and libelous” remarks which caused her “to suffer damages to her mental health.”

It said that “Davis has suffered and is continuing to suffer damages to her mental health, her physical health, her right to pursue public offices in the past and in the future, and to her legal career.” She sought unspecified damages, including “significant exemplary damages.”

    From National Review:

The editorial expressed “disappointment” at an opposition-research flier that Davis’s campaign had circulated in the days leading up to the election and that, among other things, attacked Hirt for failing multiple times to pass the Tennessee bar exam and raised questions about whether Hirt had practiced law in Texas illegally.

Davis didn’t like the Ft. Worth paper pointing out that she was fighting “dirty and with innuendo” (Cathy Hirt had a doctorate) so she sued them.

The lawyer who defended the paper said of the incident “I have never seen anything like it before or since.”

According to National Review’s Andrew Stiles, “The suit…was quickly dismissed by a district-court judge, who sustained all of the defendants’ objections, largely on the grounds that Davis had failed to present legitimate evidence to support her libel claim.”

She appealed it all the way to the Texas Supreme Court, losing at every turn.

What precedent was Harvard trained Davis trying to set?

Planned Parenthood better ask for that shotgun they gave Davis as a gift to brandish at that closed meeting in which one of her followers took pics of.

Russian torch carrier gold medalist apologizes to Obama for past tweets

YahooNews: Russia’s Olympic torch-bearer apologizes for racist Obama tweet, says she was ‘hacked’

Tweet showed U.S. president, first lady in picture with superimposed banana

By Dylan Stableford, Yahoo News | Yahoo News – 11 hrs ago

Irina Rodnina, Russia’s three-time Olympic gold medalist figure skater and torch-bearer who lit the cauldron during the Opening Ceremony in Sochi, has apologized to President Barack Obama after coming under fire for a racist tweet she now says was the result of her account being hacked.

Rodnina, who helped light the cauldron with hockey goalie Vladislav Tretiak on Friday, sparked criticism after the website Deadspin unearthed the 5-month-old tweet, which included the image of a banana superimposed over a picture of the president and first lady Michelle Obama.

Rodnina said she deleted the photo, which she said had been sent to her by friends in the United States, but in another tweet, she defended it.

“Freedom of speech is freedom!” she wrote.

On Monday, Rodnina, who won gold medals at the 1972, 1976 and 1980 Olympics, apologized, saying she was the victim of a hacker.

“I respect the Obama family and apologize for not clearly stating earlier that I don’t support the tweeted photo or racism in any form,” Rodnina wrote. “My account was hacked and I should have shown better judgement in my initial response and handling of the event.”

I wonder if NBC who glorified Russia’s era of communism understands they once did not have freedom of speech.

Global Post: Inside the Israeli-made security system at Sochi

    Jan 7 2014

An Israeli company called NICE Systems (yes, really) has deployed a network of platforms that provide the Sochi Olympic Games with what they need most: a real-time “integration system platform” that “takes points of data — video images, radio communications, phone calls, access control alarms — and blends it all into a single operating system that interacts with all of that,” according to Bill Besse, a security specialist and Andrews International vice president, when interviewed by risk-management publication CSO Online.

NICE Systems is not usually mentioned in conjunction with bathroom spying, but in Sochi, as of 2012, one of the elements it installed was Net 2.5 IP Video Surveillance, which includes over 1,400 separate channels. What are those channels looking at, exactly? In its press release, contractors for the company said “the unique surveillance system … will provide 24-hour monitoring of the city’s main roads, buildings, and popular resort locations.”

No word about showers, but it’s a little more sophisticated than your average security camera. The company specifies that “Sochi law enforcement authorities will be able to automatically detect overcrowding, unattended baggage and perimeter intrusions.” This will enable Sochi to provide a warning, or “advanced protection to critical infrastructure and public buildings,” to “monitor, detect, and manage traffic congestion and illegal parking, and prevent loitering and overcrowding situations in public buildings and commercial areas.”

NICE, a well-known entity when it comes to securing high-risk, high-visibility events, sets up what’s called a C4I control center (command, control, communications, computers and intelligence) that deploys a wide array of technologies including cameras, sensors, intelligent fences all streaming data into a single point of assessment.

Its most recent project was the Superbowl.

David Tzur, a former special ops officer who served as a consultant on Olympic Games from Atlanta (1996) to Beijing (2008) and is now a member of Israel’s parliament, says “Israeli companies are especially highly regarded for their know-how and ability to combine training with real-time experience.”

“Israeli technology,” he adds, “is especially good at early detection and warning.”

And yes, in case you were wondering: NICE was founded by seven Israeli ex-army friends.

One sticking point: the sale of security technology is strictly regulated in Israel — “more so to Russia,” Tzur points out, noting that Russia and Israel do not see eye to eye on most of the world’s current conflicts.

Just another one of mega high-tech thingies a group of buddies build in a garage, but the US
pretends they can’t create nor keep secure a health care site.

It’s an intentional glitch, and now the few who bought insurance on the site and paying premiums are learning they can’t get medical care.

What a way to humiliate the White House servants forcing them to wear these white tall pointy hats.
If they went on strike and showed how disgraced and humiliated they were the entire country would have rooted for them and given them a job.

I’m shocked. I just wanted to see a picture of the old fashioned trolley, but instead I got pictures of the dishes and food and these. I’m guessing they will be scrubbed.

So, the obamas, those bastions of “finding racism everywhere”, can’t see the obvious dots being connected here. Yet, Moochelle would be the FIRST to draw the inference if she went to a posh dinner in, say, Georgia and the wait-staff were dressed similarly.

“Wuzz all deez Klan membas doin’ wiff day funny hatz in heah?”, she might be heard to exclaim.
