Financial Times Hacked by Syria Group

    http://uk.news.yahoo.com/finan.....ml#3i2We8w

Syria had another black out a couple of days ago.

Perhaps they are just practicing for a hack that will cause a US Black out.

Another reason not to take Americans guns away if you ask me.

  2. America, your time is up. Tyranny is here, and it’s trying to take over every branch of government.

The new Demonicrat mantra is: “The law is irrelevant”, and, “It’s an irrelevant fact where Obama was during the Benghazi raid”

Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked on TV this morning whether he thinks the IRS actions violated the law:

“Look, I can’t speak to the law here,” he said. “The law is irrelevant. The activity was outrageous and inexcusable.” Also. Obama’s whereabouts when our ambassador and the Navy SEALS were murdered is “…an irrelevant fact.”

Pfeiffer then went on to state that Chris Wallace’s questions about the president’s handling of the Benghazi terror attack are “offensive.”

You NEVER question a dictator’s motives or action.

Texas curriculum dropped after complaints from lawmakers
    By Lindsay Kastner and Eva Ruth Moravec | May 20, 2013 | Updated: May 21, 2013 9:05am

Actually the complaints came from parents who were tired of their kids getting indoctrinated to socialism via the public school system.

The state’s regional Education Service Centers no will longer issue lesson plans – and will forbid their use after Aug. 31 – for a popular online curriculum system that became a lightning rod for conservatives who criticized it as anti-American, legislators announced Monday.

The move is expected to leave school districts across the state, including some in the greater Houston area, scrambling to replace CSCOPE, as the program is called, before the start of next school year. Districts that lack the staff or budget to design their own curriculum tend to rely on it.

In my day, teachers were responsible for designing their own curriculum, with school board approval, that adhered to a time-tested method of teaching and application of reading materials, self-study and guided learning. What does a teacher’s $80,000/year job with health bennies and retirement plans get the student nowadays? An academic’s generic program of socialist indoctrination suitable for the most ardent marxist instead of the teacher actually putting forth EFFORT into teaching.

The CSCOPE plans are in use at 877 districts, or 78 percent of school districts in Texas, said Kyle Wargo, the executive director of Regional Service Center 17 in Lubbock.

“Since we are a small district, we don’t have the resources to hire specialized people in that area,” said Somerset Independent School District Superintendent Saul Hinojosa, who credits CSCOPE with helping the district raise its test scores.

This is a carefully constructed rationalization. If you were to ask Mr Wargo how teaching was done in, say the early 1900′s, he’d most assuredly look at you like you had three heads.

Raising test scores is what substitutes for applied learning. And, it depends on what’s being tested. Programers familiar with the term GIGO is what I mean. Garbage In-Garbage Out. In other words, you feed a kid junk and they learn it and that “validates” the learning experience somehow.

The Houston Independent School District does not use the curriculum, but several smaller Houston-area districts do. They include the Cleveland, Crosby, Friendswood, Galveston, Goose Creek, North Forest and Stafford districts.

On Friday, the CSCOPE governing board is expected to unanimously vote to end the lesson plan component of the program under an agreement that was brokered in 72 hours, said Sen. Dan Patrick, R-Houston, chairman of the Senate Education Committee.

Wait….You mean there’s actually a governing board for CSCOPE? Who pays them? Who are they? What authority have they been given and what the hell are they? Well, at least the lesson plan is to end. Baby steps—

All 20 board members signed a letter to Patrick and Sen. Robert Duncan, R-Lubbock, outlining their intent and asking them to help pass House Bill 1675, which would keep the regional Educational Service Centers open until 2019.

Patrick said he saw no reason to object to the request. In the future, he said he would like to see school districts partner on curriculum development. He and other lawmakers said they got complaints from parents about CSCOPE, including a lesson on the Boston Tea Party that invited students to include the perspective of Britons who might have considered it an “act of terrorism,” and other allegations that CSCOPE promotes Islam over Christianity.

Wait, I thought the complaints came from “lawmakers”; Evil, racist homphobic, islamophobic lawmakers. (AKA: republicans). But, the complaints came from parents who went to their elected officials and the elected officials are trying to meet the demands of their constituency.

But, according to the paper, these programs are “popular”.

At least five Bexar County school districts rely on CSCOPE to some degree, including Lackland ISD, which serves the children of U.S. military personnel. Its superintendent, Burnie Roper, called the claims of anti-Americanism “ridiculous.”

“I hate the way that it came about because I think, in the end, it makes it difficult for the small districts that don’t have the resources such as curriculum writers and all that,” he said.

What is really being lamented here is the defeat of socialism, especially when it comes to indoctrinating kids of military parents so that they can see how evil and backwards they are; That islam is every bit as worthy of respect as oh…say….Christianity or Judaism, and that therefore our “illegal” wars against terrorism is really the evil America provoking the peace-loving goat herders/heroin producers.

Academic socialists are probably regrouping right now to figure out ways to circumvent the banning of this curriculum. I’m sure there’s a lot more to come.

      Here’s the CSOPE lesson plan/curriculum.

      Pass out
      Excerpts for the Qur’an.

Teams are to read the excerpts and make summarizations,
generalizations, and inferences about the passages.
This section will deal with passages
      from the
      Qur’an
. Be aware of the nature
and background of the students in your
class as not to offend any religious
      convictions, Muslim or Christian.
      For the Generalizations and Inferences
do not expect a great deal of depth but
look for an understanding of the material
      and its meaning.

After the teams have created answers
, have them share with the class
utilizing round robin sharing. Write responses on the board or chart paper.
Ask questions to probe their thoughts: such as…

Does this sound similar to Christianity? How so?

Why do all the references about mercy seem against what we are
seeing in reports from our occupation in Iraq or in reports of
      events in Iran or Israel?

What is the role of women and how does that compare to other
      religions?

    Horrific atack in the UK.

From the Daily Globe and Mail:

‘We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you’: What man holding bloody cleaver said after ‘hacking soldier in Help For Heroes T-shirt to death just yards from Woolwich barracks’

By Mark Duell, Rob Cooper and James Rush

A dramatic video tonight emerged of a man with bloodied hands, carrying knives and ranting ‘We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you’, after a serving soldier was hacked to death by two men just 200 yards from an Army barracks.

The man can be seen and heard talking to the camera. The video came as terrified eyewitnesses saw two men shot by police marksmen after the machete attack in Woolwich, south-east London.

The two men are thought to have waited around for 20 minutes until Metropolitan Police officers arrived and then tried to attack them – but were swiftly shot by armed policemen, including a woman.

They apparently shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’, which means ‘God is great’ in Arabic, and tried to film the attack, the BBC’s political editor Nick Robinson said.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe tonight confirmed two men had been arrested and officers from the counter-terrorist unit were leading the investigation into the killing. …

“They apparently shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’, which means ‘God is great’ in Arabic….”

I really hate it when otherwise reputable news organizations just can’t get this right.
“Allahu Akbar” means “Allah”, a babylonian moon god, is greatest. In other words, Allah is above all other gods. Superior.

This is a pet peeve of mine.

Some new pictures of LaTrayvonius Martin. In these, he’s holding a .40 S&W, smoking weed, growing pot, and generally being a thug. They contradict the media’s image of a young clean-cut kid. These photos are certainly not the ones we’ve seen of a 13 year old. Of course, these are courtesy of the UK’s Daily Mail, and not a US publication.
