Barry is governing according to "The Rules for Radicals:"

Keep the pressure on (Alinsky 1972: 128). Saul Alinsky says not to rest on ones laurels if one has a partial victory. He says we should keep in mind Franklin D. Roosevelt's response to a reform delegation, 'Okay, you've convinced me. Now go on out and bring pressure on me!' For Alinsky, action comes from keeping the heat on. When protesting about the use of human protein in baby milk by Nestle Mark Thomas asks questions in a public meeting with the CEO presentation about corporate responsibility, he has a protest at an international conference, he writes letters to the board, he interviews specialists and the scientists from the company, he has protests with animal impersonators, visits the farm where the herd of cows being used are kept and drives round to the ministry of agriculture in a milk tanker and starts cleaning the windows with the milk.

LET ME BE CLEAR .. "Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., delivered the official pronouncement on what had been expected for weeks, saying, "It’s better to have a product based on quality and thoughtfulness ..."

Yet ANOTHER couple of reasons to keep government as far away from it as possible - especially including the stupid and naieve' o-blah-blah!

I believe America is waking up to the fact that they are being lied to on a unpresidented amount of times. No where in our history has one president gone to such great lenghts to out and out lie to get what he wants passed into law. That is why we see everything going at break speed. Barry never wanted you and I to look over any part of anything he has ask the congress or senate to legislate.

He tells bold faced lies then begs us to believe that what he is doing is for the good of the nation. Nope ...... methinks the people are about done with the shell game being run by this Kenyan / American in Harvard wrapping paper.

Reid went against the dems on the Concealed Weapons bill too. Maybe he's getting a little nervous about being unemployed after his next election run?

In any case, Reid is typical of most of the libs AND rino's in Washington. Ideology takes a back seat to re-election. As soon as Obama's approval ratings fall to around 40, the rats will abandon their chosen one like they have religion.

Arm twisting stimulus pay-offs to their districts mean very little to anyone if you start messing with their healthcare. The blue-hairs and special needs segments are all about taking money or freedom away from someone else, but don't mess with their stuff. They could care less about a new park, or bridge, or jobs, etc... if it means they have to pay.

It's interesting how the self-righteous lose their interest when they have skin in the game.

Maybe. But just as learning about taqiya made me distrust any statement by any muslim, I've learned that lying is second nature to the Liberals if doing so suits their purpose. I believe that you cannot believe anything they say unless you have cold hard proof.

So...what if they say "Nevermind...we'll address this after the break"...then Mr. Reid calls a special session the day after everybody - except those he's told to stay in town - leaves for the official break. He calls for a vote, and those present vote - in favor of it with virtually no opposition. And Nancy does the same...

Would you put it past them? I wouldn't ...

Oh - it's gonna get ugly in the fall. I am sure "Rules for Radicals" provides a plan B for Barry.

The Republicans need to stay on top of this and be relentless.

I did not watch the Obamanation show last night - I actually did some homework. Anyway, The One (tm) claims (well, so I heard) that the reason he is <del>shoving this down our throats</del> rushing is that he has gotten so many letters begging him to 'do something, so's I cin git to the doc and me lifes be saved' -

Weeeel, while we have this break in the cramming sessions - how about the sane, rational, insured and employed amongst us - send him (and our 'representatives') letters.

Dear (Obama, 'representative'),

I am writing to say NO to Obamacare. Maybe fix the stupid Insurance regulations that you morons put forth, maybe a little sane tort reform - anything before you force Obamacare down our throats. I am not thrilled with my 'government' healthcare - but that's ok - as I know it is 1000 times better than anything Obama can come up with.

The main problem with our 'health care'(isn't it his vaulted organization of all things truth & decent, the UN that claims US Health care is #1 in the World?!?) is the Insurance companies who have regulated, negotiated and denied us into problems, waits and useless tests? Let's start there. Then move onto the lawyers who are holding the entire profession hostage to threat of lawsuits - and look Obama - neither one of them is part of the medical profession.

But even more than that - to each and every one ofyou in the Klownposse in DC and most particularly The One - <b>You First</b> when you get into a 'public' option ( which you should not even have any option, you are Public Servants, not The Bosses) - then maybe I'll consider it, but even then I'm An American - I will do what I damn well please and can afford. Thank You very Much.

Sincerely,
Your Employer

P.S. I'm putting you on notice that in 2010 - there will be pink slips. Sorry but in this economy - I am forced to do something.

I'm optimistic on this one.

The horrors of the krystalnacht administration seem to be seeping into the consciousness of zombieamerica.

HealthScare brought Clinton down, and it is going to bring the Egomoroniac down as well.

Krauthammer says that something will pass that they can call Universal Health Scare, and he's probably right. But it will be significantly watered down and probably just something for them to lie about.

Pelosi lied and made headlines yesterday the Democrats had the votes and it would pass before recess. I realise she did this so the Republicans would give up and stop working 24/7. She needs to go to confession.

Where is the compromise position? How about they hammer the bill together before the recess and then wait to vote until after. That way every American will have the opportunity to realize the unconstitutional theft "their" government is committing.

Well, they have to put humpty dumpty back together, as Andrew Breitbart aptly said.

They need a month to boost those polls. That means they're the one's hoping for change now. Hoping for some positive economic numbers they can leap on. Hoping a month of politicians out of Washington is going to crush the general public's interest in what's going on in Washington like it normally does. Hoping that when they come back in a little over a month that they won't have the quickest politically crippled president in the history of America, and that it didn't happen by the noncompliance of basically his own party.
