A former host of CNN’s “Crossfire Sunday” and regular contributor to CBS “This Morning” paid a Fairfax County woman to perform sex acts on him at his Maryland home and was then threatened that the incident would be made public unless he paid $50,000, according to Virginia court records.

Bob Beckel, a political analyst who managed Walter Mondale’s 1984 presidential campaign, paid a woman $300 per hour to visit his home on June 27 and 29. …

About 6 p.m. June 27, Beckel was at his Bethesda, Md., home when he found an Internet Web site with a photograph of a woman named “Tiffany,” who was dressed in provocative clothing. …

Beckel called the telephone number listed on the Web page and made arrangements for the woman to come to his house for a $300-an-hour massage, the affidavit states. The woman, who identified herself as Tiffany, arrived at his home and he paid her $600 for two hours.

During the visit, she performed oral sex on him and he revealed to her that he worked for a “major media syndicate.” …

Tiffany saw Beckel again at his home from 3 to 6 p.m. June 29 and received a check for $1,300. She performed oral sex on him and she agreed that she would return to his house July 1, the affidavit states. …

Beckel left town from July 5 to July 11; when he returned, an envelope was on the windshield of his car. The envelope contained a computer-generated letter that stated: “for the last time, you need to drop off the money on Friday July 12, 2002 at exactly 4pm.” …

The letter included demands for $50,000 in cash, all in $100 bills, a drop-off time of 2 p.m. July 7 and directions to the drop-off area on Potomac Street in Washington, the affidavit states. …

Bob Beckel (D) just said on Fox News that Reid’s comment’s weren’t racist because they were “supportive.”

Looks like there are a bunch of Uncle Toms.

It’s the usual – when you’re beholden to the Democrats for everything, the Democrats can treat you like a “house n-” and there are no consequences whatsoever.

But as a Republican, call somone a “macaca” and, well, it sounds like a racist comment, so it must be.

It’s almost surprising that he didn’t refer to Red Hussein as a mulatto or a half-breed.

Yep. A high yaller half-breed n****r like Obama could almost pass in decent white society, the necessary allowances assumed.

Why anybody ever thought of Red Hussein as an American black guy defeats my imagination in any case.

The “black”, African side of his family is undoubtedly part Arab, and entirely foreign.

The American side of his family is altogether white.

His early education transpired in the Arab toned madrassas of Indonesia. And his teen years were passed among upscale commie private-school whites in Hawaii.

I dare say that I (white enough to really pass in most places, blue eyes and all) have more in common with really black looking people who grew up in say, Harlem, than Red Hussein ever had or ever could have.

GOP claims Lott-Reid double standard

Top Republicans called for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to step aside Sunday — and accused the Democrats and the media of holding the GOP to a double standard on matters of race.

In an interview with POLITICO, National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman John Cornyn (R-Texas) said it would be “entirely appropriate” for the Nevada Democrat to relinquish his leadership post over comments about Barack Obama’s skin color and lack of a “Negro dialect.”

And like Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele and Senate GOP Whip Jon Kyl — both of whom also called for Reid’s resignation Sunday — Cornyn suggested that any Republican who said what Reid said would be under attack from Democrats, leading African-Americans and the media.

Actually, they’d be excoriated, drawn and quartered.

“There’s a big double standard here,” Steele saidduring an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

“What’s interesting here, is when Democrats get caught saying racist things, an apology is enough. If that had been [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) saying that about an African-American candidate for president of the president of the United States, trust me, this chairman and the [Democratic National Committee] would be screaming for his head, very much as they were with Trent Lott.”

Lott lost his leadership post in 2002 after saying that the country would have been better off if Sen. Strom Thurmond — a segregationist — had been elected president in 1948.

And that remark, you may recall, had the democrats going pitchforks and torches, calling for his head on a pike. And they won.

Reid’s remarks were at least as egregious, if not a great deal more so.

If they’re talkin’, they’re lie’n.

You mentioned Byrd. My mother was an “old time” dem whom I never could talk out of her party.
She lived a very conservative life but refused to believe the dem party had changed for the worse.

But even SHE couldn’t stand Byrd. And she was from WV.

Of course she was educated and could see through him. Why I could never wake her up to the take over of dem party by the hard left I’ll never know. But then again, I have a good friend who is exactly the same. From PA. Both coal areas that are now being hit hard by the “green” mindset.

Mom must be spinning in her grave right at what has happened to the country my dad fought for in WWII. The friend I just want to shake some sense in her head.
