Reuters Poll: 53% Want Illegal Aliens Deported

From Reuters:

Majority of U.S. citizens say illegal immigrants should be deported

By Rachelle Younglai | February 20, 2013

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – More than half of U.S. citizens believe that most or all of the country’s 11 million illegal immigrants should be deported, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday that highlights the difficulties facing lawmakers trying to reform the U.S. immigration system.

The online survey shows resistance to easing immigration laws despite the biggest push for reform in Congress since 2007.

Just think of the untold billions of dollars the news media and the rest of the Democrat Party have wasted tried to change the public’s mind on this issue.

Thirty percent of those polled think that most illegal immigrants, with some exceptions, should be deported, while 23 percent believe all illegal immigrants should be deported.

Only 5 percent believe all illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay in the United States legally, and 31 percent want most illegal immigrants to stay.

All of which adds up to is a pretty big split of 53% to 36%, for deporting illegal aliens. (A detail Reuters wants to bury.)

These results are in line with other polls in recent years, suggesting that people’s views on immigration have not changed dramatically since the immigration debate reignited in Congress last month, according to Ipsos pollster Julia Clark.

Funny how we seldom heard about any of these other polls in recent years.

"It’s not Americans’ views that are shifting. It is that the political climate is ripe for this discussion," after the November election when Hispanics voted overwhelmingly in favor of Democratic President Barack Obama, she said…

So our elected representatives should ignore our wishes? They should just look at the new Hispanic voting bloc?

Maybe this poll and all of the others in recent years will remind our leaders that they need to worry about the non-Hispanic vote a little, too.

Polls show that most Americans back immigration reform, although they often have different ideas of what that means, with some people favoring looser immigration laws while others want to see greater border security…

BS. These polls just show that the news media is very good at confusing the issue. The real issue is amnesty. And most Americans are opposed to it.

I’m confused, didn’t the same poll tell me last week that 60% of ‘mericans wanted amnesty? I still say the only poll that matters is held on a Tuesday in November. That poll said ‘mericans wanted free stuff over freedom.

A background check to get a job in your own country.

But no background check if you sneak across the border. Meanwhile the TSA is groping some old lady at the airport right now, just to make sure. . .

The national socialists always wage war on the law-abiding. Why? Because it’s the path of least resistance. In other words, they’re slimy little characters who have no good ideas so they enforce their bad ideas on people in order to get them in line. Then, at the end or at the “max saturation point”, they eliminate everyone else.

That would be the people who resist based on their sense of the laws, ie: Not taking my guns. I say you’ll have to kill me first and the national socialists will have no problem with that even though in my entire life I’ve never hurt so much as a fly.

Control. Control. They want you to acquiesce. I also see it in my workplace.

OBEY….DO AS WE SAY! (Not as we do)

The parallel where I work is uncanny. A bunch of know-nothing elites, who like to pat each other on the back even when another failure comes down the pike, and they thumb their noses at the workers and diligent. Whenever something goes wrong during normal operations, they devise a new rule, policy or procedure to make sure the attorneys are satisfied so it will never happen again, or if it does, their fannies are covered, but they can still hang the poor fellows it happened to.

Their biggest weapon is termination and they like to wield it like a broadsword. They’re quite proud of their disciplinarian methodology but fail to realize how much the working body despises them and they also fail to see their hypocrisy. That’s always the way.

But they are of the same generation as our government and…given their overall lack of military experience, it adds up to the same result. Control.

They fear a lawsuit more than anything else and they also fear the board of directors who want more money out of a fixed product. I will say that such pressure turns people into monsters but none of them will fight back because, while they lament the pickle they have put themselves into, they still desire that elitism, false though it may be.

Philo-immigration is really a form of betrayal.

Loyalty is first and foremost loyalty due to one’s own children, family, kin, and people. It means we do not treat them as fungible and replaceable, whether as individuals, neighbors, communities, races, or countries.

Loyalty is what allows our neighbors and our people to exist. Take away that loyalty and their existence –– their special place both as individuals and as a unique people in history and holding their particular place in the world’s glorious-mosaic-of-diversity –– is lost.

To prefer the interests of strangers and foreigners over our own neighbors and fellow Americans is to betray our neighbors and fellow Americans. The encouragement of foreign invasions –– including mass immigrations of Third World aliens, whether lawful or unlawful –– is a pretty good working definition of treason.

The preservation of our national identity, our families, race, culture, communities, history, traditions, customs, institutions, and — especially — of our own posterity should automatically take precedence over the anti-white racist schemes of Ruling Elites in Washington or the capitalist’s desire for cheap labor..

Liberals have always claimed that the US Constitution is a “living Constitution.” They have used this “It’s-a-living-document” claim repeatedly to transfer rights, wealth, property, and powers from individuals, local communities, and the States into the hands of central planners in the Federal government in Washington DC.

But why can’t this “living Constitution” work both ways? It seems only fair and reasonable that a “living Constitution” could, if it wants to, transfer power to the States when the central government refuses to act to protect the States and local communities from the damage caused by illegal mass immigration.

The new citizens of executive order will pledge allegiance to the democratic party and continue to demand more special considerations be given to their cultural differences as they continue ignoring assimilation guidelines on speaking and reading the English language. Ola, begins in kindergarten, the Eagle on a cactus flag flies over US soil. Stars and Bars, a symbol of Freedom adorning t-shirts on cinco de mayo is insulting to descendants of
coyote assisted border jumping parents and PC educators insist removal or suspend the student. Mexican gangs
terrorizing black Americans in S. California cities, unstoppable by the limited number of police available to respond until the shots fired call comes in. Federal Authorities refusing to enforce laws deemed racist by the most racist DOJ in the history of our nation. As the nation economically implodes, fliers are distributed in Mexico touting the free programs available to those illegally entering our nation. A return to sanity regarding the definition of Illegal
    way overdue.
