Rev Al: Blacks Jobless Due To Racist GOP

From the colorblind folks at CNN, via YouTube:

Sharpton: Blacks Unemployed ‘Cause of Racist Republicans

Our transcription:

Host:  Hey Reverend, I’ll give you that same question but I’ll add this: Again, being out there, I didn’t really see the divisions about race that we talk about so much on the air and that we… I think people are just really concerned about being able to provide for their families. And whether or not, you know, it’s an issue among them personally, or what have you, the big issue is money, jobs, economy.

Sharpton: No, there’s no question that’s the issue. But you can’t divorce the fact that the facts, the data shows, blacks are disproportionately unemployed, and that IS based on institutional racism. We can’t take a look at the economy and see where blacks have a higher level of unemployment, higher level of being not promoted, higher level of foreclosures, based on institutional race questions and say race has nothing to do with it.

And as I’ve, I’ve travelled about twelve states in the last two weeks, and the anger I’m hearing is that A) The Republicans have helped to put us in this mess, and B) There’s been a lot of racism directed toward the President. So I have heard anger. I was in Richmond, in Virginia last night. There is anger, but a lot of it, I think, uh, cannot be benefitted toward the Republicans. What is clear to most blacks [is] that Republicans put policies in there that led to this.

And I agree with you that just because one is black doesn’t make them better qualified, Clarence Thomas proved that.

Host: Yeah, hey listen –

Sharpton: You can get the wrong black.

The racist reverend does his part to get out the Republican vote.

Al is stickin with the gig he started out with, even while the demand for his services wanes.

  2. Right of the People says:

    Pro,

He is a one trick pony, it’s all he knows and he’s too old and stubborn to change. Whitey is the cause of all of his misery and his wealth at the same time so he is also conflicted.

  3. wardmama4 says:

Wow – talk about someone/party that wants to keep America in the past. Apparently the only blacks the Rev listens to are the entitlement layabouts and those who watch only the alphabet networks. How can anyone with two functioning brain cells take those two groups as ‘the majority’ of blacks – how insulting to every single person in America but most importantly the blacks. Not only is he a racist/race baiter toward whites/Republicans – he is a racist toward blacks – He is the reason any blacks are still sittin’ in the back of the bus.

He is among the group lead by The Won who won’t let Conservatives and non-RINO Republicans to advance America back to the beacon of Freedom and Liberty and Justice for all.

I am hoping that today will be the first step of the long road back – to honoring the Traditions that made America great, to following the Constitution in all things Judicial & Political and to Work together as Americans to restore our dignity, freedom, liberty and opportunities for all.

Yo, Rev. Could it be because of something like this….(language warning!)?

Unrelated, however. And there are liberals who are willing to debate – if the media will seek them out. But the people there look a lot like comedy actors.

    • hushpuppy says:

to drowning – seems to me those guys are ‘artists’ who are expressing ‘free speech’ and doing it ‘artistically’. Why I’ll bet those guys were filming a rap or hip hop vid showing how awful whities are.

You can’t help but admire such artistry artistically gracing us with their artistic command of the Queen’s English! We whites can’t speak to such artistry depicting the hood ‘n’ hos ‘n’ niggers ‘n’ jews ‘n’ moooslims cuz we innt edjikated like them gangbangerz iz wif hos jus’ poppin babies out to replenish each drug-pushing, woman-beatin pimp daddy that dies in a hail of gunfire, yeah, then who be cuttin allat coke ‘n’ shit wif all dem nubile brown sugar bitches workin so dey can buy another Cadillac SUV.

      Whatchoo lookin at, bitch?

Okay. Now top and consider how many rap and hip hop lyrics contain nothing but profanity along the same old stupid – and quite frankly – overtly sexist and racist lyrics.

That’s the kind of double talking bull crap that sharpton and jessie jackass were saying when the ‘nappy headed hos’ comment reached their delicate ears! They stood up for the rap and hip hop ‘artists’ because they were telling the ‘truth’ about their lives. It’s ‘free speech’, it’s ‘artistic’, no, there’s nothing profane at all in the lyrics, no nothing hateful either… it’s all a figment of our white imaginations. And even though various talking heads like O’reilly took them to task and asked them if a white artist used the same language about black, wouldn’t that be considered racist or sexist. Nope. Slippery as eels sharpton and jjackass changed the subject. Typical.

Imus and his program director get fired and go on a mea culpa tour of Harlem and bowing and scraping obessquiously to those two phony ‘preachers’ Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackass.

I loved how Mr. Snerdly dealt with it! Beautiful!!

I refuse to call the ‘Rev’ as we’re to revere God…. and those two do not in any way represent Christ Jesus.

  5. Adam Moreira says:

I must have missed it – since when is Al Sharpton relevant?

  6. bill says:

Well they have their government handouts don’t they? A handful of food for your vote.

Who is the “right black?” Is it the “magic negro?” It would have to be somebody “authentically black.” Somebody who is the “first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy…a storybook.” Perhaps somebody who is “blacker than Barack Obama [because he] shined shoes.” Or maybe somebody that just “a few years ago this guy would have been getting us coffee.” Would that be the right black, Al?

The above represent statements from prominent democrats: a former president, a former governor, a sitting vice-president, and a liberal democrat mouthpiece “news” paper. It seems to me that the left is awfully condescending to people with higher melanin content in their skin. Al demeaned a long-serving well-credentialed Supreme Court Justice by calling him the “wrong black,” yet has ignored the obviously racist statements of countless democrat party leaders with regards to the “right black.” Why is Al so unworried about the obvious racism toward the “right black,” coming from people who are supposed to be “right black friendly.” The truth is that conservatives couldn’t give a flaming fart about skin color, and would rather have merit, accomplishment, and record serve as the benchmark for measuring one’s “rightness.” The Reverend Al and his cohorts on the left cannot abide by such an idea and Al is willing to whore out his integrity so he can continue to preside over all of the “right blacks,” (those who toe the party line and allow themselves to be subjugated by racial politics) serving as their taskmaster and plantation foreman. He single-handedly is attempting to ruin two centuries of progress because he likes the power and privelege allowed to him by his democrat masters and is unwilling to stand up for what is right because they might take it all away. Reverend King must be spinning in his grave.

But how do you know had w if one is the result of affirmative action or not? There are some on either side who will say that Thomas or Sotomayor are such, even though both were qualified for the job through experience on the bench (which should be all that matters); the latter was also a former trial court judge.

(For the record, I don’t believe either is the product of affirmative action.)

If (as Al Not-so-Sharpton thinks) that it’s because of us whities aka crackers that blacks are kept impoverished, he’s delusional and needs a change of meds!

I saw the following photograph and it literally made me heartsick. I was irate and saddened because of everything Obama stands for – the lies, the empty promises, the hypocrisy, the gullibility of those who believed Obama would actually help them.

…and I had a mental image of a typical sociopath dictator (color/race irrelevant) who has everything including a posse while his countrymen beg; and in this case a man begging and all that he gets for his trouble is a lungful of exhaust fumes.

People need to start praying to a ‘new’ God – the God of Heaven and earth – and stop worshiping The Won Who Will Lower The seas: The One We’ve All Been Waiting For….

Both Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton are what we call “Poverty Pimps”. Without the Party of Food Stamps and their progressive, liberal non-growth ideology that has dept the majority of blacks on entitlements and subject to big governmet……….they wouldn’t have a job. What gets me is the fact that they continue to be involved in polictics and yet, they have a tax exempt status. How convenient!

As a member of the Tea Party we would like to extend our hand to all Americans to join our ranks of the Tea Party who believe in smaller government, less taxes and fiscal responsibility. For Republicans who get elected, we are watching you and if you fail to adhere to these principals, you will become unemployed.

Adam – to you it looks staged. To me it looked all to real. But consider this point: too many people are looking to Obama as if he were a god that’s going to give them everything like some kind of Santa Claus that lives in the White House as opposed to the North Pole.

    And that’s truly sad.

  13. canary says:

What Al Sharpton wanted to say was that he didn’t like seeing illegal Mexicans taking jobs from blacks. It angers me. And these are not jobs that only Mexicans will do.

From my days in public school

    ~Black kids don’t respect education.
~Black kids don’t respect their teachers.
~Black kids don’t do their homework.
~Black kids cause problems in class.
~Black kids steal things from other children’s lockers and desks.
~Black kids start fights on the playground.
~Black kids intimidate other students as gangs.
~Black kids start fires and destroy things in the bathroom.
~Black kids don’t study for tests.
~Black kids are in ESL despite speaking only 1 language.
~Black kids are in special education.
~Black kids’ tests aren’t counted for state tests because they are in special ed.
~Black kids get promoted to the next grade despite being ‘F’ students.
~Black kids destroy their schools with graffiti and vandalism.

    BLACK PEOPLE
    *Have low work ethics.
    *Have low work skills.
*Sue their companies / bosses over discrimination at alarming rate.
    *Have poor work environment skills.
*Generally refuse to clean their living environment, chasing businesses away.
    *Generally don’t discipline their children.

AND YOU WONDER WHY EMPLOYMENT IS SO LOW FOR BLACKS!
For G*d’s sake! Take some responsibility, and introspective analysis once in a while, and you will know why blacks suffer at disproportionate rates.

    Sharpton is a clown man!

    • canary says:

Minthrandir, the symptoms you list vary. During busing period in early 70’s, the black’s violence, & vandalism left alot of ruins in my state. The zero tolerance of violence has helped the schools in my town. Black People move to my town, trying to get better lives for their children. The blacks in the metro area have it real bad with gangs & drive bys. More violent crime, drugs, & gangs in my town are more Mexican oriented. Middle school sucked no matter what the color. And if I see racism (usually this is from the school authorities I will go to bat for a child who is being discriminated against. They know I don’t like Obama, but I have their respect. We have some really bad white kids who start the fights and treat beat up on everyone.

One of my nieces home schooled her entire life. She got a full sports scholarship to a Black University (of course there are a few whites). She has had no problems so far. They have zero violence policies, and the students are sincere in their education. Otherwise they lose their scholarships.

Most of the serious gang, drugs, theft here is committed by the Mexicans. You just can’t go in a store without watching them steal. They also speak in Mexican, along with the gang lingo, which is a double disadvantage in protecting yourself, or knowing if trouble is brewing.

    • Adam Moreira says:

Hasn’t changed too much if my daily ride on the bus to and from school/work (it’s the same place) is any indication. And the reason why it’s like that? Worthless parents; teachers have to be able to teach students who have some motivation from home.

(Any questions about where I am – click my posting handle.)

    • canary says:

I live in a town known for safety, large police & law enforcement town, so I’m experiencing a different culture. But, our schools suck & fall behind the metro schools that have better education, but also metal detectors. And the town hires illegal Mexicans along with fast food. The police do end up arresting a lot of the illegals & Mexican gangs, only after they do their crimes.
