Rodeo Clown Says Performances ‘Won’t Change’

From a clearly outraged Associated Press:

Rodeo clown says performances won’t change

SEPTEMBER 14, 2013

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — A rodeo clown has performed for the first time since a controversial State Fair rodeo act that mocked President Barack Obama.

The Jefferson City News-Tribune reports that rodeo clown Tuffy Gessling hammed it up for the crowd during a pro bull riding event Friday in Jefferson County.

Beforehand, Gessling said everything has been very overwhelming and that he’s surprised people took offense to the politically themed skit. It featured another clown wearing an Obama mask, while Gessling made comments — including "We’re gonna stomp Obama" — to the crowd.

The gall of the man. Is it going to take a drone strike to stop him?

Gessling says the skit had been performed before, and that several past presidents’ faces were placed in similar scenarios. Gessling had other shows scheduled between his State Fair and Jefferson City appearances, but they were canceled.

This seems to be the AP’s attempt to whip up more outrage at the racism Obama faces among the low information voters. Neither the AP article nor the one it references says that anyone wore an Obama mask or if his name was even mentioned.

In fact, the Jefferson City New-Tribune article reports:

Rodeo clown says performances won’t change

Tuffy Gessling performed last night for the first time since his controversial performance at the Missouri State Fair on Aug. 10.

Although the rodeo clown has received death threats, media attention and other backlash from a skit in which President Obama was teased to be “run down by a bull,” Gessling said the way he performs won’t change a bit.

“We aren’t changing anything,” the man said Friday prior to his appearance at the Jefferson City Jaycees Fairgrounds. “We’re still in the business of PBS — that’s putting butts in the seats.” …

Again, no one is reported to have worn an Obama mask and Obama was never mentioned in the performance. So it’s clear changes were made, though maybe not by Tuffy.

In any case, we now know that Obama and his media minions are tougher on rodeo clowns than people who use poison gas.

There is an old cattleman’s story about a young and an old bull looking over a fresh herd of cows.
The young bull say’s to the old one, Let’s run down there and ‘F’-one.
The old bull replies, Let’s walk down there, and ‘F’ them all.
GWB. took alot more abuse from the left than the current pantywaste\waist in charge.
My advice….Grow a pair! Four stars for the clown, the one in the rodeo, not the one in office.

‘F’-en Fricken is trying to get invited to the White House for beer

“In light of the August incident, the president of the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association, Marc Fricken, resigned.

Fricken’s lawyer previously told the Associated Press that his resignation from the group was a protest that the association has not banned Gessling from its membership.”
