Russia Respects Iran’s Election Results

From Russia’s RIA Novosti:

Russia respects Iran’s election results, ties to continue

MOSCOW, June 22 (RIA Novosti) – Russia respects Iran’s presidential election results and will continue to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and neighborly relations with Tehran, a Russian Foreign Ministry statement released on Monday said.

The Foreign Ministry said the events that occurred in Iran following the announcement of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s election victory were an exclusively internal issue for the country.

"We believe that the disagreements arising after the elections should be settled in strict compliance with Iran’s Constitution and law," the statement read.

Tehran has seen mass demonstrations over alleged ballot fraud in the landslide reelection of hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on June 12…

And of course Iran’s Mullahs are delighted.

According to AFP, the Russian Foreign Ministry said the events that occurred in Iran following the announcement of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s election victory were an exclusively internal issue for the country.

Meanwhile, Konstantin Kosachev, Head of Duma’s Committee of International Affairs, addressing reporters censured the EU’s interfering in Iran’s internal affairs and said the issues ought to be resolved through legal channels in Iran.

Gee, we didn’t see this coming.

Like the night follows the day, the Soviet Union Russians can always be depended upon to support any enemy of freedom and justice.

Russia has been very poor for years now. People are hungry. While some things are better in Russia and people happier, they are hungry and they don’t like Americans very much at all. Obama feels sorry for Russia, as democracy harms countries, and makes them poorer, and he is probably turning his back to the fact that Russia is selling arms big-time. To the middle-east, asia,

  6. canary says:

I guess this means a great increase to Iran of arms. Sleazy Ahmadman, has lot’s of the people’s money.
