Russian Leader: US May Have Killed Hugo Chavez

From Russia’s Ria Novosti:

Chavez Death Could Be US Plot – Russian Communist Leader

MOSCOW, March 6 (RIA Novosti) – The death of Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez from cancer may have been part of a plot by the United States to infect its enemies in Latin America with the disease, the leader of Russia’s Communist party, Gennady Zyuganov, speculated on Wednesday.

“How did it happen that six leaders of Latin American countries which had criticized US policies and tried to create an influential alliance in order to be independent and sovereign states, fell ill simultaneously with the same disease?” Zyuganov said in comments carried by Russian state television.

“In my view, this was far from a coincidence,” said Zyuganov, the head of Russia’s second-largest political party. He urged an investigation under “international control” into Chavez’s death.

Obama and Hillary’s ‘re-set’ of our relations with Russia has really paid off. But this is what the Soviets Russians do best. (Almost as well as the DNC.) And, lest we forget, the KGB used the Soviet press to start the story that Oswald didn’t kill JFK. And now half the world believes that.

(By the way, notice that the Communist Party is still Russia’s ‘second largest political party.’ Most Americans think they were disbanded.)

Zyuganov’s claim echoed accusations by Venezuelan Vice President Nicolas Maduro, who alleged last week that Chavez had fallen victim to an “imperialist” plot.

"The old enemies of our fatherland looked for a way to harm his health," Maduro said.

Chavez, who died on Tuesday at the age of 58 after an almost two-year battle with cancer, had himself speculated that the United States may have developed methods to infect its enemies with the disease.

"Would it be so strange that they’ve invented the technology to spread cancer and we won’t know about it for 50 years?" Chavez – who once famously called former US President George W. Bush “the devil” – said in late 2011, after he had been diagnosed with the disease.

Hey, if the US did somehow manage to give Hugo Chavez cancer, one has to think it was money well spent.

He was speaking a day after Argentina’s President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

"Fidel [Castro] always told me, ‘Chávez take care. These people have developed technology. You are very careless. Take care what you eat, what they give you to eat … a little needle and they inject you with I don’t know what,’ he said in late 2011 after he had been diagnosed with cancer,” Chavez added.

Castro was himself the target of numerous US assassination plots, according to declassified documents published by the CIA in 2007.

Among the other leftwing Latin America leaders diagnosed with cancer are Brazil’s current president, Dilma Rousseff, Paraguay’s Fernando Lugo, and the former Brazilian leader Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

If our government managed to give cancer to all of the other Communist leaders they list, we would also say our hat is off to them. (And we don’t even wear a hat.)

Alas, we could only wish they are doing their jobs that well.

  1. Why would Obama want to kill Hugo? He loved Hugo, as did our entire mainstream media complex. They worshiped him and are, even today, working to turn the United States into Venezuela on a slightly larger scale. Our economy is headed in that direction. The president is attempting to give himself dictatorial power, just like Hugo. Why eliminate your idol?

But if we have developed a way to infect our “enemies” with cancer from a distance, surely there are Republicans that Obama would have tried it out on by now.

Who speaks for those who died at the hands of the communists?

Who speaks for the millions who were starved to death? For the millions who were worked to death in slave labor gangs? For all those millions who disappeared into the gulags or into the bowels of the Lubyanka? For those machine-gunned in the execution fields of Butovo? For those who perished in hastily built sweat boxes under the hot Cuban sun, or for all those who were simply dragged from their cells in the dead of night to be beaten and shot?

For those tens of millions who perished in the forced collectivization of the Ukraine, in the mass genocide of the Volga Germans, in the bread lines of Budapest, in the Cultural Revolution, in the killing fields of Cambodia, and the death camps of North Korea…?

Not to mention the millions whose property was stolen or destroyed, and the hundreds of millions who for generations eked out their miserable lives in hunger, fear, repression, and abject poverty, while being denied the simple comforts of Christianity. Who speaks for them?

For them no justice has been rendered. For them no apology has been offered, and no word of condolence spoken. For them no bleeding-heart journalist pours out his tears and sympathetic words.

No Bolshevik thug has been called to full account.

Not one has been brought to public trial and punished for the countless crimes of Marxism against humanity.

No UN committee or international tribunal has ever been convened to bring these Marxist murderers to justice.

Instead their criminal ideology has found fertile soil here in America –– and elsewhere in the West. Here the Bolshevik robber gangs thrive and prosper, elected and appointed to the highest offices in the land, while they enrich themselves at the taxpayers’ expense, enjoying million dollar holidays, while they stockpile drones and bullets

There is much talk of social justice. But when will real justice be given?

  3. Our special thanks to secret agent Sean Penn for delivering the lethal dose.

  4. But Chavez will rise from the dead with the Occluded Imam in the end.

So, he’s got that going for him.

My first thought on Chavez’s death was that Obama would order government flags to be flown at half-staff.
