Some things take time. Like 21 years to realize that hiding the rape of a child should have been handled “differently” .

Other things need to happen instantly.

Like passing 1000 page pieces of legislation sight unseen by the people voting on it, legislation that, at the very least, will ruin the nations economy and transform it’s culture into one of utter dependency.

It’s just a question of priorities.

Obama official regrets advice to gay student

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is defending an Education Department official over advice he gave a gay student about sex 21 years ago.

The official, Kevin Jennings, says he should have handled the situation differently.

Jennings was teaching high school in Concord, Mass., in 1988 when a sophomore boy confessed an involvement with an older man in Boston. He told the boy, “I hope you knew to use a condom.”

Jennings has been under fire for months from conservatives and right-wing groups.

He issued a statement Wednesday saying he can see today how he should have handled the situation differently. And Education Secretary Arne Duncan said he’s honored to have Jennings on his team.

As usual, the AP only reports such stories about a Democrat once he has “apologized.”

Of course, as usual, Mr. Jennings is only sorry he got caught.

How true. And only us Fox-watching, S&L-reading types were aware of his radicalism before the election and hence ruled out voting for him. I wonder, are the people who voted for him (those who aren’t radicals, who were fooled by him) finally figuring out just how MUCH he wants to change this nation?

Obama’s Trinity church that ministered to sex-offenders may have led to his choices of devient sexual promoters. Arne Duncan chose Kevin Jennings to push his goal of schools for gays and bi-sexual only. Duncan failed at this attempt in Illinoise. The idea was so they would be free of other children teasing. Aside being segregation in the schools, I believe schools for gays and bi-sexuals would end up exposing these youths to more sexual situations, stress, and violence instead of getting an education. Law enforcement statistics show that domestic gay violence is major.

I hate to say it, but there needs to be consequences for mandated reporters who fail to report. A mandated reporter doesn’t have to investigate suspected child abuse—that’s up to the authorities. This case is an excellent example of what must be reported.
