…and this is from Kuwait? To think we fought a war to “liberate” them. Just goes to prove that there are no borders or nations in this war. This is a war of religions and ideas, a 21st century crusade.

So from what I can tell, a “Fatwa” is like a law imposed by a Muslim Cleric. Someone enlighten me please. If a Fatwa is issued, does that apply to the followers of that religion only and then only to a specific region or all followers? Does it apply to EVERYBODY, even those who are not a member of that religion?
Again, I think that the reason they have a rule (fatwa?) that says they must kill anyone who converts away from their religion is because without that rule, everybody would convert.

When I decided to give no more money to my Church because I felt they were promoting the new world order I decided to give my money to causes that I felt were doing what they could to promote and save the USoA and MEMRI is one of the sites I chose. God Bless them and all that they do to try to get Islam’s barbaric, anti-woman, anti Christian and Jewish message to the people who care.
Now, if you can’t go online without a snack beside you a fun and interesting site which rates (by taste testing-what a fun idea to begin with) snacks (chips, chocolate, you name it) go to Taquitos.net.
Now if only the feministas would decide that Muslim women are worth fighting for!

The fatwa was issued by Saudi clerics, presumably in Saudi Arabia.

Feminists in this country have a rather myopic viewpoint on their agenda. They want to “free” women who are very able to do it themselves without “help”, and they tacitly ignore the real downtrodden women……but those women dont have time to read Cosmo and protest the “glass ceiling” that is ruining the lives of so many of them.
Feminists are nothing more than bored women who have a need to be heard…..unless it requires real action, and real money, to save real lives of real women who are being raped, beaten and killed all over the world. Why save them? They cant donate, nor can they vote! I wish Amanda would walk a mile in their burkahs…..she would be using the “f” word every five seconds, and meaning it. Until they killed her to shut her up.

You won’t see feminists admit that feminism used to be based firmly in Christianity. Remember the Temperance Unions? Notice that the liquor companies were most opposed to women’s suffrage? It’s only since the moonbats hijacked feminism that they started decrying Christianity as something evil.
Meanwhile, the kind of things they accuse us of doing are actually going on over in the middle east. The women calling themselves feminists today have no complaints when women are forced back into burning buildings because they tried to leave without putting on their abiyah’s. They don’t care at all that women caught painting their nails in Iran get their fingernails pulled out with pliers. While they complain about the possibility that someday women may not be allowed to murder their children, it doesn’t bother them in the slightest that women in many parts of the world are forced to murder their children–at least, if the child is a girl.
And while woman like Amanda Marcotte whine that the beliefs of Catholics may cause worries about consequences or responsibility to ruin her endless search for sexual pleasure (somebody show her the study about how conservative women have more orgasms!), women in many muslim countries are physically unable to experience sexual pleasure, due to a quaint ‘traditional’ practice euphemistically called female circumcision.
Hypocrites of the highest order.

Not to promote a book or anything but I’m currently reading Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s “Infidel.” As a young girl she spent some time in Saudi Arabia and has some insight into the Muslim Brotherhood movement.
Very interesting book. I don’t have any real opinions yet as I’m not even halfway through, but so far, I’m very thankful I was born in Pennsylvania and not Somalia. The things they do to women and children there is sickening.
