Religion of peace?!? You beat and imprison a widow whose only horrific crime is that she asked her nephew to pick her up a few loafs of bread?!? I hope that Muslims will be as outraged about this as the rest of the world is and stop supporting this horrendously cruel “religion of peace”.

TixTock is right; their values are the exact opposite of Christian values. Christians are commanded to feed and care for the poor, fatherless and widowed. You don’t have to be a Christian to know that you don’t beat an old woman who asks for food, you simply have to be a HUMAN!!

This is not the first story about the crimes of The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice and it certainly won’t be the last.

Leave it to the AP to put a line like “the kingdom’s ultraconservative religious police” in the story. I don’t know a conservative ultra or otherwise that would condone an action like this. This is beyond barbaric, they have no decency at all let alone humanity or compassion. What is really ironic is that the libs don’t seem to have a problem with this. If we had Sharia law here, most of them like Rosie O and all of her merry band would be stoned or beheaded.

They “justify” it by interpreting their religion to make women sub-human and property.

Allah is a slavemaster and Muslims believe they are his slaves. There is no love or compassion in master/slave relationship.

But remember, what’s the lesson here, kiddies?

1.) All cultures are the same and equally valid! So don’t you dare judge or even think there’s something inherently wrong about the way Islam treats women.

2.) Christianity is worse! Just as Rosie O’Donnell. They don’t allow abortion and stuff, so they’re just as evil.

This woman is probably a victim of some type of “score settling.” I am willing to bet her nephew and his business partner pissed somebody in power off, and the retribution is being hidden under the guise of religious piety.

We don’t have the complete story, but I’m pretty sure that Sharia law is the brutal vehicle being used to settle a score.

They are the mirror image of Christians, whereas Jesus encouraged followers to take care of widows and orphans, the islamists beat the widows and tie bombs to the orphans, or use the orphans as sex toys and then tie bombs to them.

Women are always vulnerable where men are uncivilized. Of course, there was a time when even civilization didn’t offer women much and thats where these guys are stuck. Our own civilization may be modern and inclusive but if it breaks down (or reverts) it doesn’t bode well for women either.

Beating little old ladies, also known as the “religion of peace.” I suppose that dead people are quite peaceful, so maybe the label fits.

Also in the news – a court in Afghanistan upheld a 20-year sentence for a journalist who dared say “men and women are equal.” The penalty was originally execution. I guess those would be the “moderate Taliban” that Obama spoke about.

In Islam, wrong is right and right is punishable by death.
