It's an obvious lie. Somebody has copies. There are dozens of ways to backup data. At the very least, people photo-copied large chunks of it. It's only the data upon which the most important scientific (gag) finding of the last 200 years is predicated. It's the life work of the criminal Phil Jones. He probably has a dozen backups in his attic. No chance it doesn't exist somewhere. That data wasn’t lost. It’s an obvious lie.
