Massachusetts of all damn places.

And that's a state that has already implemented socialized medicine on their own!

Could it be that the electorate is starting to figure out that they've been ... how should I say?

Hard to say they've been had exactly. One had to be blind or simply looking elsewhere to miss the red flags all over Obama. And I do mean RED FLAGS! Lots of them. Red as commie hell. The Soviet flag, the PRC flag, the lot.

Maybe mistaken. They've been mistaken. Doesn't quite fit either somehow. Mistaken about what? Red Hussein pretty well declared his intentions. He lies a lot. But he did say what he was going to do. -- "Under my plan electricity prices will necessarily sky-rocket" -- not what you call subtle.

Disappointed certainly.

One does wonder what the Obama voters were thinking.

Is it even possible that they are figuring out that the path they've been on doesn't go to someplace they want to be?

Lord knows there's been plenty of occasions over the years when I, as a conservative, have had reason to curse my home state and its registered voters but yesterday Massachusetts made me proud. I am one happy transplanted Bay Stater and tonight me and Mrs Artboy are opening a bottle of the second best wine. We'll open the best wine in November 2012...

Great reasearch, Steve.

But once you think about it, it's hardly surprising.

Who would know more about the Kennedy / Obama legacy than the people the Kennedy crime family ran roughshod over for decades.

I've only seen pictures of the fabled Reagan sweep that constituted his reelection. I imagine the feeling was similar then as it is now. Never thought this was possible, but it just goes to show that Progressivism really can't root itself permanently in our national mentality. It can only feed on a host political group, corrupting elements of our society until it's unmasked, run out of town, and forced to take up a new face. Our founders' clairvoyance continues to floor me.
