Sebelius Says Critics Are ‘People I Don’t Work For’

From Fox News:

Sebelius says she doesn’t ‘work for’ those calling for her resignation

October 24, 2013

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is rebuffing calls from Republicans for her to resign over the troubled launch of the ObamaCare sign-up website, saying those asking her to resign are “people I don’t work for.”

Sebelius gave the comments on a tour Thursday of an ObamaCare call center in Phoenix, which kicks off a multi-city tour by administration officials to promote the health care law amid the website’s troubles.

Which is why she was ‘too busy’ to testify before Congress, yesterday. In addition to her gala ball in Boston the night before.

Sebelius said “no one is getting fired” over the litches [sic] and that her main focus is to get the website up and running. “The majority of people calling for me to resign I would say are people who I don’t work for, and who do not want this program to work in the first place,” she said.

And here we were thinking she worked for everyone in the country who pays their taxes. And even the 47% who don’t. But, you know, with out of touch comments like these, Ms. Sebelius’ reputation is starting to ‘rhyme with glitch.’

“I have had frequent conversations with the president and I’ve committed to him that my role is to get the program up and running and we will do just that.”

Well, as long as she is committed. Still, it looks like she might not be suited to that role.

Sebelius’ comments come after Rep. John Fleming, R-La., sent a letter to President Obama signed by 33 Republican members of Congress calling for Sebelius’ resignation over the troubled health care law roll out.

“It’s clear that Secretary Sebelius has mismanaged the ObamaCare roll out and is in over her head…" the letter reads.

If you are going to demand that people be fired on those grounds, what about Obama?

Sebelius came under fire after telling the House Energy and Commerce Committee she was not also available to testify Thursday due to a “scheduling conflict,” but then travelling to Phoenix.

Sebelius was already taking heat for snubbing the committee while planning to attend a health care gala in Boston on Wednesday night…

Ms. Sebelius doesn’t have to answer to Congress either. Who do they think they are?

Sebelius is correct: this plan is Democrat, through and through. It’s the imposition of totalitarianism and we don’t want it.

So Kathleen “someone-lives-and-someone-dies” Sebelius is not answerable to the American people or to their representatives in Congress?

    Hmmm.

Just like Tigellinus-Holder, Hillary Clinton, Lois Lerner, former IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman, IRS Commissioner Steven Miller, IRS Senior Executive Faris Fink, the rest of the IRS, Dir of Nat’l Intell. James Clapper, Susan Rice, Ken Salazar, Janet Incompetano, Thomas Perez, the entire National Labor Relations Board, the entire General Services Administration, the entire EPA, and a host of other thugs and czars in this Bolshevik regime….

Not to mention the Great Won himself, Nerobama.

Because they’re all much too busy attending galas, campaigning, swindling taxpayers’ money, playing golf, eating Kobe steaks, swindling taxpayers’ money, rewriting laws, eating lobsters, making speeches, breaking promises, swindling taxpayers’ money, and being thugs. And because the Ruling Elites know what is best for us serfs.

Just wait until the death panel gets up and going.

It’s time we revisited our definition of tyranny:

tyranny –– having the sole power to decide whether one has the right to act or not act, unconstrained by the Constitution, the courts, ancient custom, the States, an opposition party, or against the will or consent of the people and their representatives in Congress.

What was it Alan Grayson said the other day? “If the shoe fits, wear it.”

When I went to bed last night, I had no idea that Drudge would post an article about Valerie Jarrett running the White House. If a truthful analysis of this Presidency is ever written, it will be interesting to see what is said of her and her overwhelming influence on BHO.

  3. You work for us, you insanely dimwitted bag of Kansas wind.

You nailed it Petronius. No one in this administration is accountable.

I believe the ONLY reason Jofi Joseph was fired by the Obama Administration was because of this Tweet: “I’m a fan of Obama, but his continuing reliance and dependence upon a vacuous cipher like Valerie Jarrett concerns me,”

    Me too…
