Our Tax Dollars at Work: Obama gives $56 million to an Alinskyite group to set up a “non-profit healthcare insurance company”.

From Fox News: “A Saul Alinsky-tied group has been awarded a $56 million federal loan to start up a nonprofit health insurance company — one of several organizations across the country this week tapped to launch a new network of insurers under the sponsorship of the federal health care overhaul.

“The Wisconsin group, Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative, was awarded the funding on Tuesday. According to the Department of Health and Human Services, the group is expected to provide coverage statewide within five years after starting on a smaller scale in early 2014.

[Yeah. And Solyndra will provide solar panels]

“But Americans for Limited Government President Bill Wilson questioned the group’s credentials — given its affiliation and lack of experience in the insurance field.

“‘The indisputable fact is that Common Ground was an outgrowth of the Alinsky operation in Chicago,” Wilson said. “We’re not giving money to a group with experience in health care issues or in setting up exchanges. … We’re handing the money to people who have been trained by arguably the single most expert individual on community organizing in the last 100 years.”

“Common Ground, a Milwaukee group that dates back to 2004, is an affiliate of the Alinsky-founded Industrial Areas Foundation. ”

Thanks River for the heads up.

What got my knickers totally in a twist this week is a link I followed to the GAO report on their audit of Federal Reserve, an audit that barely got passed into law (as a Rider to Dodd-Frank) by Jim Demint, Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders and someone else I can’t remember, A Democrat. Two Republicans, a Democrat and a socialist.

I normally would do a bodily function from a great height on Red Bernie, but this … bears reading …

      Original GAO Report –

For those with ADD, the short of it is, the Fed gave away – unaccounted, behind our backs, secretly and without consequence … $16 trillion during this mind boggling debacle of the past three years.

      Quoting socialist Bernie Sanders –

“As a result of this audit, we now know that the Federal Reserve provided more than $16 trillion in total financial assistance to some of the largest financial institutions and corporations in the United States and throughout the world,” said Sanders. “This is a clear case of socialism for the rich and rugged, you’re-on-your-own individualism for everyone else.”

If you can wrap your mind around this, you’re further over the edge than even I am.

      You’re welcome my friend.

It’s a fact that the Fed is out of control, goes unaudited, and creates asset bubbles that have caused chaos, inflation, depression, and destruction. But the $16 trillion figure is wildly off base. If there actually were that much cash injected into the world system, the dollar would plummet to near-worthlessness.

We are on the hook and in debt beyond our ability to pay. Inflation is coming. We are well advised to own gold, silver, real estate, and other tangible assets.

However, Bernie Sanders is not to be trusted. He’s an avowed socialist – crypto-Marxixt – kook. I tried to read the GAO report you cited, and had to give up. The language is too arcane for me. But if this story were true the world would be talking about it. The Fed’s provable transgressions are bad enough, and we don’t need Bernie Nutjob’s fever swamp delusions to make the case.

More evidence Iran supported al-Qaida as 9/11 report hints. “long-held fears”, as if the U.S.S. Cole wasn’t enough.

Reuters: U.S. sees signs of Iran activity in Yemen

by Tom Finn Feb 20 2011

SANAA (Reuters) – Iran is becoming more active in Yemen and could pose a deeper threat to its stability and security, the U.S. envoy to Yemen said on Monday, highlighting what would be yet another layer of uncertainty in a near-failed state.

“I think that we are seeing increasing Iranian outreach to various actors,” Feierstein said.

In addition to its political uncertainties, Yemen faces an active wing of al Qaeda, an economic crisis that has brought it to the brink of famine, a Shi’ite rebellion in the north and a southern secessionist movement.

“We do definitely see a rise in Iranian finance, efforts on the part of Iran to increase its influence not only with Zaydi Shia elements but with Sunni elements as well,” Feierstein said.

The Jerusalem Post: Oliver Stone’s son converts to Islam in Iran

Sean Stone, the son of acclaimed film director Oliver Stone converted to Islam in Iran on Tuesday in a ceremony in the city of Isfahan.

Stone, a filmmaker like his Oscar-winning father, told AFP that “the conversion to Islam is not abandoning Christianity or Judaism, which I was born with. It means I have accepted Mohammad and other prophets.”

Iranian media reported that Stone converted to Shi’ite Islam and has changed his first name to Ali.

Earlier this month, Stone was a participant in the Hollywoodism and Cinema conference in Tehran, where he was honored by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

(article, pic, plus daddy Oliver Stones defending Ahamdinejad, and his profanity towards Jews & U.S.)

After converting in Iran, Ali Sean Stone Shitte Muslim cut filming in Iran and ran back to the U.S. where he could ‘safely” get a media blitz for his documentary and explain he is three in one. Otherwise the dishonoring of allah would have led to headlines –

“Ali Sean Stoned in Iran for being an Infidel”

    • canary says:

Speaking of the devil Iran won their first Academy Award Oscar.

The Iranian media tells Iran officials were not happy about the film and tried to thwart it.

Not sure if this acceptance speech that dumb Hollywood clapped for will allow the maker back into Iran.

A thick accent made it difficult for me to understand. It was nice to confirm the non speaking English Iranian women who corrected me repeatedly as to my southern accent “I Ran” to say the American version “eh ren” to Eeerren. But, here’s bits a bit of the difficult to understand words

He said the best reason for winning was for his country Iran. (He’s hoping he and his daughter won’t get stoned if they go back to Iran. She was pretty covered and veiled up in the film so she might be safe as long as young men don’t approach her in the streets of Iran )

“At the time when talk of war, intimidation, and aggression is exchanged between politicians, the name of their country, Iran, is spoken here through her glorious culture, a rich and ancient culture that has been hidden under the heavy dust of politics.”

“I proudly offer this award to the people of my country, the people who respect all cultures and civilizations and despise hostility and resentment.”

Dumb people clapped to this insane statement.

Farhadi also said back stage after winning he hoped movie goers would see the people of Iran in a different light.

“If people around the world try to find the image of one another through the prism of culture, I believe that image would be a more a more real and a more clear image.”

WTH! A clear picture ? of his beautiful civilization in Iran?

      The Separation Story line.

Naders wife wants them to leave the country of Iran so their 11 year daughter doesn’t have to grow up in the evil country.
He wants to take care of his elderly senile father and he get’s custody of the daughter as with muslim custom, so the mom leaves.

So Nader’s wife suggests he hire Razieh a poor young pregnant deeply religious muslim who did not consult her brutal woman beating husband, so she took her own daughter to work with her. she took the child care job .

The poor pregnant maid has he hands full with the old man who pees in the bed. She calls a religious
hotline to see if it’s a sin to clean the old man’s pee pee and is told it’s not a sin.

Nader’s wife sneaks into the house steals money, and the young maid ties the old man to the bed for wondering off.

Nader shoves the poor pregnant woman who falls down the stairs and Nader’s wife tells him the poor woman is the hospital suffered a miscarriage so he’s sentenced to jail for 3 years.

(Perhaps she was late in pregnancy since muslims believe in abortion in the first 3 or 4 months and another reason they vote Democratic in this country)

Then when Nader learn the poor women’s violent husband is on anti-depressants, he wonders if it wasn’t her husband who caused the miscarriage and not his own act of pushing her down the stairs.

Nader is outraged to pay compensation for the couple’s unborn child, and Nader lies and says he did not know she was pregnant when he hit and tossed her down the stores at that.

Then Nadar thinks maybe a car hit his poor slave and caused the miscarriage (when she was out looking for the old man who wondered off.

      So, Nadar get’s smart.

Before he pays the compensation he makes the servant girl swear on the Quran

Sure enough the poor servant refuses to swear on the Quran because she is afraid allah will punish her for lying.

And the stupid movie ends in court all wearing black with Nadar and his separated wife’s daughter
in court. Their daughter goes into a room to decide and that’s how it ends. Dumb ending, and dumb considering the muslim father get’s custody.

If you don’t like my version you can pay to watch. Just as last year I did not see any of the featured movies.

A Full Agenda for King Abdullah of Jordan’s White House Visit

David Schenker and David Makovsky Feb 27 2012

President Obama will host Jordan’s King Abdullah II Tuesday for a meeting in the Oval Office. The visit — King Abdullah’s second since the onset of last year’s Arab uprisings — occurs amid a backdrop of increased tension in the kingdom. Not only is Abdullah facing a spike in domestic economic and political foment, but violence across the northern border in Syria threatens to deteriorate into civil war.

Indeed, today’s demonstration in Amman was called “Ahmed Matarna Friday,” a reference to a former municipal employee in the capital who, laid off during government restructuring,
lit himself on fire on January 9.

A third man died this week after setting himself alight.

A week earlier, a large anticorruption demonstration led by Islamists in Mafraq was broken up by thugs widely believed to be working for the government’s security services. The clashes culminated with the burning down of the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood’s political offices in Mafraq.

After Saddam Hussein was toppled in 2003, however, Jordan had to scramble to find patrons who could replace the lost grants from Baghdad. Intermittently over the past decade, at Washington’s behest, Saudi Arabia has filled that gap, usually by providing discounted oil to Jordan.

If the past is any indication, Abdullah will likely seek additional financial support from Washington during his visit, even beyond the $360 million in economic aid and $300 million in annual military assistance Jordan already receives. Given the current U.S. political environment, such a request will no doubt be unpalatable.
Yet when the administration contemplates a Middle East without King Abdullah’s Jordan — and, perhaps, with the pro-Hamas chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood at the helm in Amman — it may find additional funding worth consideration.

David Schenker is the Aufzien fellow and director of the Program on Arab Politics at The Washington Institute. David Makovsky is the Institute’s Ziegler distinguished fellow and director of its Project on the Middle East Peace Process.

“.. with the pro-Hamas chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood at the helm in Amman — it may find additional funding worth consideration.”

Are they saying pro-Hamas like CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood make funding deserving, or the funding is needed to fight the pro-Muslim Brotherhood who we are friends with even though they hold our people hostage?

Trial coming up for 16 Americans & 27 others hostage in Cairo Egypt.

    from the Washington Post

What doesn’t look good is the notorious Hamas terrorist that planned the Chicago bombing wanted by the U.S. has brazenly left Syria and now is in Egypt.
Further, Hamas terrorists from Gaza are also pouring into Egypt.

Wish Reagan was here and where do our Republican presidential candidates stand on this?

‘Go to hell Barack’: Row over Washington Metro ad
    AFP – 8 hrs ago
In the heat of a US presidential election year, with Americans immune to the polarized and bitter nature of political discourse, it takes a lot to shock them, especially in Washington.

But one ad at a DC Metro station — which starts off criticizing Obama’s health care reforms and ends up telling the president to “go to hell” — goes beyond the pale, says Jim Moran, a Democratic congressman from Virginia.
