You have to love any article titled “Is Obama a pathological liar?”

    Then it gets better.

The Big Lie Collapsing (cont’d): Obama to Banks: We’re Not Defaulting

    via Fox Business:

While officials from the Obama Administration raised their rhetoric over the weekend about the possibility of a debt default if the debt ceiling isn’t raised, they privately have been telling top executives at major U.S. banks that such an event won’t happen, FOX Business has learned.

A senior banking official told FOX Business that administration officials have provided guidance to them that even though a default is off the table, a downgrade "is a real possibility for no other reason than S&P and Moody's have to cover (themselves) since they've been speaking out on the debt cap so much."

This guidance is a big reason why Wall Street has largely dismissed the possibility of default, and though the markets have been jittery amid the talk of default, they haven't imploded as would be the case, many economists fear, if the nation missed a payment on its debt.

The banking official said the administration understands that if there were to be a default, it would likely spark another financial crisis.

"They also know they can pay the debt with cash on hand," this official told FOX Business. The Treasury collects around $2 trillion in tax revenues, and is scheduled to pay out $200 billion in interest to bond holders. In order to meet its obligations to contractors, social security recipients and others, the administration would have to raise another $1 trillion either through cuts, higher tax revenues, the issuance of debt or a combination of all three.

So there you are: he manufactured a crisis, fearmongered the hell out of it, then he got all his buds too as well. It’s plainly stated that they understood the consequences of what they were doing. They continue to do it anyway while privately reassuring markets it’s all a fraud.

And no one in Trading questions this? Mhm. Maybe we aren’t talking about Trading but Traiting.

So there’s your Silver Bullet of Truth, GoP, forged from the hellfires of this whole damned process and destined to take down this whole Lie Factory if you can deliver it with a clean and solid blow. We know you’re too chicken to speak Truth to Power against this Leviathan, but before you go all Brave Sir Robin on us yet again and RUN AWAAAAY – there may never again be a better substantive opportunity. It only goes into a nearly even more uncontrollable death spiral from here if we don’t get a handle on this now.

Norway attacks focus attention on US right-wing extremists

By Azriel Relph and Michael Isikoff
    NBC News
    updated 7/25/2011 8:02:43 PM ET 2011-07-26T00:02:43

The bomb attack and shooting spree that killed 76 people in Norway on Friday is refocusing attention on the threat from right-wing terrorist attacks in the U.S. inspired by anti-Islamic rhetoric.

In the aftermath of the mass murder, investigators are looking at a 1,500-page manifesto in which Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian man who admitted to carrying out the attacks, vowed “brutal and breathtaking operations” in order to stop “the ongoing Islamic Colonization of Europe.” Analysts say the manifesto was inspired by heated rhetoric from groups in the United States – some of which are quoted directly.

Robert Spencer, the co-founder of Stop the Islamization of America, is cited more than 50 times by Breivik. He helped organize protests against the proposed Islamic center near Ground Zero in New York City and has written that “traditional Islam contains violent and supremacist elements.”

Breivik wrote that Spencer would be an “excellent choice” for the Nobel Peace Prize.

But Spencer told NBC News that he bears no responsibility for what happened in Norway.

“There’s nothing in any of my writings that is anything but a defense of human rights, a defense of the equality of rights of all people before the law,” he said. “So if somebody gets from that that they should kill, well then he’s nuts.”

But according to some analysts, words can be weapons themselves.

“When you push the demonization of populations, you often end up with violence,” said Heidi Beirich, research director for the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The center recently released a report, Jihad Against Islam concluding there has been an apparent spike in anti-Islamic attacks in the United States in the past few years, including the burning of a mosque in Tennessee arsons and bombings in Florida, Michigan and Oregon.

“This attack in Norway should be a wake up for our decision makers,” said Daryl Johnson, the founder of DT Analytics, a consulting firm that tracks extremist activity in the United States.

As a former top domestic terrorist analyst for the Department of Homeland Security, Johnson produced a 2009 report that warned of a growing threat from right-wing extremists and domestic hate groups. The report produced a storm of controversy amid charges that the department was monitoring protected political speech. The report was ultimately removed from the Homeland Security website and Johnson says his unit was eventually dismantled.

DHS officials told NBC News that the domestic intelligence division of DHS was merely reorganized. And they say they are tracking the problem as closely as ever, but see no signs it is getting worse.

Johnson, however, sees parallels between the rhetoric of some domestic extremists and Breivik’s writings.

“We could have a similar attack here, and that’s my greatest fear,” he said. “We could have a Timothy McVeigh-type carry out a mass shooting event or a vehicle bomb attack that resulted in mass casualties.”

Yes, see now how they can’t resist the urge to try and politically isolate us through their media? Not only that they can’t help it – it’s compelled of them. The Schism that opens up when a newsworthy event occurs, which evolves into the dueling narratives between Truth and Revisionist History, are witnessed right here at S&L on a daily basis. That has always been our esteemed host’s mission and he is a master at it.

Breivik listened to Lord of the Rings music on his iPod to drown out screams of his victims

He said his client believed that he was in a war and that he would be vindicated in 60 years’ time.

See the psychological game being played here?

Also, watch for more “flash mobs using social networking” stories.

      There’s a theme here.

The Nihilist Ruling Class is trying to convince you that you need to be ruled.

That all this freedom and technology is bad, that it inevitably only leads to anarchy.

They are wrong. I submit to the court of public opinion that the Tea Party is the substantive proof of the antithesis to that assertion reigning supreme.

The Tea Party is the “National Family” that the Socialists envisage, and might someday way off in the Dreamland of the future be destined to unite us globally like they really envisage. But we are a democracy network. We report and debate the issues honestly and disagree civilly. We recognize eachother as equal individuals united for this cause, where we are sacrificing our labor and energy for the greater good AND we are regulating ourselves on top of it. We’re just taking it upon us to do it in harmony with the principles of a free-market economic and Constitutional Federalist system rather than demand that the State dictate to others as well as fund our vision of what social justice should look. Not to mention they have such immense dictatorial control over how History gets written for so many people, who don’t even really know how much they’re systematically being programmed with false images of reality. No one man should have that type of power, but there are those who acquire it. Now there are those who will stand up to it going forward.

George Sauron Soros’ Universe of Lies is imploding.

War is, sadly, a part of Nature. The Grand Programmer could not create a properly functioning universal operating system without certain equations. Polarity is one of them. Happiness and Suffering. Two of the central equations surrounding the Human Condition which divide thinking on the Left and Right are “Why is there such Random Suffering for the innocent” and “Why were we given free-will?”

I love framing the two questions together because it almost instinctively makes you want to answer: “We were given free-will so that we could use our mind’s eye + our abilities to work to try and prevent and/or help those enduring suffering!”

Of course the journey only starts from there. The next step is learning that you can only help others if you first learn how to help yourself and look after your own self-interest. Otherwise you can find yourself in a situation where you tell yourself that your helping when you’re actually hurting. Christians beware of Statists bearing gifts to the poor. Statists don’t give by definition because in their world everything is theirs, and they act and expecte to be treated like they are the Head of State and their turd doesn’t stink, whether they actually have any level of success or none. It’s psychological in nature: they’re spoiled narcissists, some of them malignantly so.

But firmly believed: As beings constructed in the image of our Creator, we have the power to do anything – constructive or destructive – to which we put our minds.

“They are making the error of not listening to the words their opponents say, and not understanding their opponents are serious.”Ace (and he truly is one)

Your Globalist cabal stands alone, Soros.

Whereas we stand on our own, we stand together, and we shall never surrender to the tyranny of existential fear, deceit, or violence.

We, the People of the Tea Party, choose to be bridge-builders and spiritmenders, and when environment leaves us no other choice – damn happy warriors and warrior poets. We choose Tranquility because that is the absolute answer to the equation that we seek. The Ruling Class literally and demonstrably chooses Chaos because that’s from where they draw their power to control. They have become everything that they project onto those whom they ignore [fear, TBH, fear of the voice of their conscience that they bury deep down: that we are right and they are wrong]. Insteady they choose to malign and demonize incessantly.

Self-loather. You all consumed Gollum. Be cast into the lake of flame, and take your Precious destructive Ring of Power with you.

The integrity being enshrined by this grassroots movement across all disciplines, both in the Universe of Reality and now our budding Universe of Virtual Reality – the New Media – at this moment in the Timewave, shall shine as another beacon of Triumph in American and World History for all of mankind to come. It will be our latest patch update into the informational matrix.

The “t” will stand supreme. (Hehe, isn’t tweaking with the multi-dimensionality of language fun? You don’t need to be a media puppetmaster or apparatchik to understand the art of subliminal messaging).

“They will not blame you if you try and fail, but they will blame you if you fail to try.” – J.D. Hayworth

Congratulations Arizona, I hope McLame’s little crybaby soliloquy today on the Senate floor was worth your vote . He’s a terrible actor, especially when he tries to play a Conservative. His little Ruling Class rant hissy about Hobbits seemed to fit him quite naturally though.. except as Ed notes “The hobbits win in Lord of the Rings. They got a lot of ridicule from the elite and the powerful along the way, but they end up saving the West from ruinous destruction.”

Well I’m glad John recognizes what stage we’re on at least. Why bring it up though? Because the analogy was employed all over Soros’ MBM? Seems kinda insensitive to say such a thing logically though, right? I mean to the people of Norway, who just endured a nightmare because of an animal claiming to be a right-winger who mowed people down while listening to LotR.

Hmm: Ya think? Jerome Corsi, 2008: John McCain Funded by Soros Since 2001

Yes, the same Corsi who inspired us to drop our attention to the old cliched political labels and start shining our light directly at the Ruling Class.

So that’s the United States of America in the millenial era. You all bore witness to a completely scripted play in 2008 from both ends. Now you’re witnessing it play out again, and it will never stop until we stop it.

John and George keep getting the script wrong. Like I said, these Ruling Class types think they’re such big nuggets that they just go off ad-libbing.

This isn’t The Return of the King you guys. We still ultimately have to save Minas Tirith, the Shining City on the Hill, from it’s self-absorbed steward that wishes to be King.

This is The Two Towers, the Battle of Helm’s Deep. Our walls are breached – they have taken good men from us.

“What can men do against such reckless hate?”

“Ride out with me. Ride out and meet them.”

I am sounding the Horn of Helm Hammerhand from the Deep.

If there is anyone out there left still with the spirit to fight, rally to our grassroots leaders, back to the Cut, Cap and Balance front – and demand the House Republican leadership drop this foolish deal that the Democrats openly say they want nothing to do with.

Draw swords and ride out with me.

Not for death. Not for glory. Not for wrath and ruin.

For our people. Americans, Democrat and Republican who are being lead in a state of confusion, fear, and ultimately anger and hate from a soft tyranny being orchestrated by a cabal dictating world order from their faggish little Legion of Doom consisting of criminal villains here and abroad. Oh, these little Cthulhus just seem to have their slimy tentacles in everyones pockets, don’t they? Ready to call them out and deliver some freshly delivered lines they want read or acted upon in the world? These maniacs really do want to reign over a thousand years of darkness and I’m not going to participate in it. I’m going to work towards the solution.

Soros and the Ruling Class via the media like to imply the threat of anarchy and violence if the State doesn’t get its way. It’s a full-fledged fearmongering campaign to just mow everyone over with lies and threats and Tea Party bashing from everyone in Washington. None of it’s based in reality. They are all just bitter that we took their little theatre circus, stole the show for a couple weeks, and used the stage to explain to the people that this whole place is infected and they almost all need to be thrown out.

Not out of ideology. They’re just corrupt, mean and dishonest. It stagnates the Democratic process so they can set up their own little power bloqs and money rackets with power-brokering insiders who just want to purchase the government to do something for them, like fork over competiton legislatively, consequences be damned.

Right now all the solution takes is 3 Democrat Senators with any semblance of a conscience to stop listening to their leadership and start listening to the constituents melting their phones off to vote for real spending cuts that are gong to preserve our credit rating and financial stability.

No one wants to even press them on that option. No it’s always just been expected that we’d eventually let it go.

    AP is selling higher taxes:

Low taxes, high health costs make US choices tough

By PAUL WISEMAN, AP Economics Writer

WASHINGTON — Wealthy countries all over the world are dealing with debts and strained budgets as they mop up after the Great Recession and brace for the budget-busting retirement of the baby boomer generation.

….As U.S. policymakers argue over raising the federal borrowing limit and slashing debts, America is hobbled in ways the others are not. Tax collections are low by historical and international standards. Health care costs are astronomical — and still rising. The political system is gridlocked.

Those problems suggest the current impasse over raising the U.S. government’s borrowing limit and cutting the deficit is a prelude to even more intense political combat.

“We as a society will either have to pay more for our government, accept less in government services and benefits, or both,” says Douglas Elmendorf, director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. “For many people, none of those choices is appealing — but they cannot be avoided for very long.”

This year’s federal tax revenues are forecast to equal 14.4 percent of gross domestic product, a broad measure of economic output, according to the Office of Management and Budget.

I fail to see what the ‘news’ is in this story, other than this is the first AP economics article that the word ‘unexpectedly’ does not appear.

The thing that really bugs me is that when they say taxes are low, they are only talking about federal taxes. The math impaired economic mavens at the AP always fail to include state income tax, sales tax, property tax, gas tax, luxury taxes, sin taxes…. when calculating how low my taxes are.

Hey, I realize that this is from Huffpo and may or may not have roots in reality but saw it on a friends facebook post and checked it out….haven’t seen any mention anywhere else though considering the inclinations of the MBM not to publish stuff like this the question still remains, is it real? http://www.huffingtonpost.com ‘Super Congress’; Debt Ceiling Negotiators Aim to Create New Legislative Body. I believe that’s their catch-phrase for the bipartisan debt committee, just a more extreme phrase for it. That’s fine, I’ve wanted to call it yet another Politburo myself.

But the shadow/super Congress is the one going behind the closed walls of the executive branch.

Thank you for trudging around in that muck though. I did so too a time back when I was trying to learn their political habits.

TerryAnne, It is sickening. More sickening how they didn’t have security. Stupid in these days not to have
    security at events that large.

The atheists are going after the two beams that broke from WTC tower that landed and stood in the position of a cross that was a beacon of hope at the site of devastation. It has been moved to the memorial site, and now the atheists are going to sue. Big deal. Ya know. They ought to cave in and
put beams all over the site. Or statues of body parts here and there.

When are the atheists going to remove the letter ” t ” from the alphabet?

REDEMPTION: Byron York (via Ace) – Herman Cain Apologizes for Comments on Right to Build Mosque

It takes a beautiful man to genuinely admit an error. Herman gets my applause not just for facing his mistake, but taking steps to improve his understanding of it. If only the Repubican leadership in Washington seemed capable of such a function. If only..

I really hope he continues this dialogue he’s says that they’ve started; it’s desperately needed and he’s a great man to conduct it.

Headlines omit “Muslim” U.S. soldier arrested for 2nd attack on Ft. Hood TX plans.

WSMV/NBC: AWOL U.S. soldier Pfc. Naser Abdo has admitted planning an attack on Fort Hood
Had weapons stashed in a motel room

    KILLEEN, Texas (AP) —

For example the NY Post calling him a U.S. Serviceman.

Story is he was a (another) U.S. military muslim soldier who was AWOL. He had bought ammo, and when he bought material for bomb I believe the store turned him.

The U.S.A. was giving Abdo the release he wanted, except they found “child pornography” on him and planned charges. We’ve told this is very common to find pornography on captured or killed muslims,
strip joint attendance by prior 9/11 attackers, Osama bin Laden’s compound, and of course major muslim
Hansan who attacked Ft. Hood, known to get lap dances and tip….

Interview Abdo said he planned it to get even with what America had done to him. It’s being reported this
was not a terrorist attack. I guess there has to be many muslims before they are called terrorists.

So, glad Norway has determined their nutcase terrorist acted alone.

EYE OF SAURON watch: Michelle Malkin – Obama’s Exclusive George Soros Waivers

This week, for example, Soros announced he was “quitting” the hedge-fund industry. The headlines emphasized his decision to return about $750 million to outside investors (a drop in his $30 billion bucket of personal wealth). He’s reconstituting the business that landed him on Forbes magazine’s “wealthiest people” list as a “family” interest. But the move has “self-serving politics” written all over it.

    Inappropriate: http://hotair.com/archives/2011/07/29/allen-west-not-going-to-get-involved-in-tea-party-schizophrenia/

The Tea Party is made up of millions of individuals. Characterizing the fact that they have differences in opinion on matters of political strategy is not schizophrenic whatsoever.

You know what’s schizophrenic? Presenting yourself to people through a concocted image that you share their values when you don’t. Like 80% of the people who get elected.. and Tiger Woods. Their public image is completely different from their private self. It’s manufactured.

So who’s genuine and who’s schizo again?

    From Levin’s Facebook:

Allen West is a good man, although we disagree on the debt ceiling issue. What bothers me is an effort like this (see link below) to enlist him in attacks on the Tea Party. West is not going to be challenged in the primary by any serious conservative group, although others could be, and goading him like this, by a radio host on the wrong side of this issue — who then distributes the interview to bloggers who post it on their sites — does a great disservice to West and rest of us.
