Hamas: ‘Resistance’ against Israel is only option left for Palestinians
Hamas leader Khaled Meshal addresses Tehran conference ‘in support of the Palestinian Intifada’; Iranian supreme leader tells conference that UN bid for statehood will fail.

Hamas leader Khaled Meshal told an international conference in Iran on Saturday that “resistance” was the only option left for the Palestinians.

Meshal was addressing the “5th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada” in Iran’s capital Tehran.

“Palestinians must resort to resistance no matter how costly it is, until Palestine is free and Israel is destroyed,” Meshal said.

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who also spoke at the conference on Saturday, assailed a two state solution for Israel and the Palestinians, saying the Palestinian bid for statehood at the United Nations is doomed to fail.

Khamenei told the conference, which was attended by other by senior Palestinian militant leaders as well as Mashaal, that the Palestinians should not limit themselves to seeking a country based on the pre-1967 borders because “all land belongs to Palestinians.”

“Our claim is freedom of Palestine, not part of Palestine. Any plan that partitions Palestine is totally rejected,” Khamenei told the conference.

Blazing Occupiers – The Firebaggers Fake Front.

With the presidential election coming up, and the Obama administration unpopular with the professional left, it sure would be helpful to construct some kind of movement, to show the hard left aka Barack Obama’s base, that they are all pursuing the same agenda. But as the old saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day. I have been watching footage from “Occupy Wall Street” it appears that generation unwashed, showed up. They may be confused, they may be deluded, but when you’re running for reelection, and trying to put up a false front for your base, you make due with what shows up.

  3. Melly says:

    A Muslim President, After All

Hispanics, blacks and others among President Obama’s base may be abandoning him, but Muslims are holding fast. Apparently, theirs is a special bond born of shared interests.

He is losing much of his 2008 base of voters with one notable exception: Muslim-Americans. They remain exceedingly loyal to the president. In fact, their enthusiasm for Obama has swelled.

Last month, Pew Research Center released a survey of U.S. Muslims that was almost universally overlooked. It found that Muslims overwhelmingly approve of the way Obama is handling his job as president. Fully three-quarters (76%) favor him, compared with just 46% of the general public.

President Bush, in contrast, garnered a lowly 15% approval rating among Muslim-Americans. “Muslim-Americans clearly see a friend in Obama,” Pew said in its report.

Obama came into office pledging to improve relations with the Muslim world, and he’s more than delivered on that promise. Almost two-thirds of U.S. Muslims say Obama is generally friendly toward them, Pew found. Just 4% see him as unfriendly.

And many see him as one of their own. One in 10 say they think the president is a Muslim, while a third say they don’t know or refused to answer.

Nonstop pandering has also made Obama popular in the Muslim community.

He’s appointed a record number of Muslims to his administration — including at least three radical Muslim Brotherhood agents to White House jobs, according to Muslim reformer Tarek Fatah. And he’s killed Justice Department probes of Muslim Brotherhood front groups at home, while paving the way for Brotherhood-run theocracies abroad.

Muslims also are in Obama’s corner because he’s vowed to provide more “social services” for them — including “jobs, education, health care and civil rights” — as part of his new PC counterterror program.

This is music to their ears. According to the new Pew poll, Muslims love big government as much as Obama. The vast majority say they’d rather have a bigger government with more services than a smaller one with fewer services.

In fact, 68% say they’d prefer an even larger and more activist government than what Obama has engineered.

Obama’s Secretary of Defense Panetta shouts out to muslim terrorists that Israel is a bad neighbor who is loosing their military edge.

FOX News: Panetta Warns of Israeli Isolation
    Oct 03, 2011

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta warned Sunday that Israel is becoming increasingly isolated in the Middle East, and said Israeli leaders must restart negotiations with the Palestinians and work to restore relations with Egypt and Turkey.

…Panetta told reporters traveling with him. “But the question you have to ask: Is it enough to maintain a military edge if you’re isolating yourself in the diplomatic arena?…”

The Pentagon chief said Israel risks eroding its own security if it does not reach out to its neighbors.

Panetta said the most important thing now is for Israel and its neighbors “to try to develop better relationships so in the very least they can communicate with each other rather than taking these issues to the streets.”

Israeli officials have welcomed parts of the proposal, but have also expressed concerns about the timetable for some discussions. They also have refused to endorse the 1967 prewar borders as a basis for the future Palestinian state — something President Barack Obama has endorsed.

The Palestinians, meanwhile, have said they won’t return to talks unless Israel freezes settlement building and accepts the pre-1967 war frontier as a baseline for talks.

What timing. Panetta needs to read the bible where it says the very places of rebellion such as Libya and Syria along with north of Israel will attack Israel. Or maybe he has read it and wants it to happen.
Will all America be punished for a few running the country that attack Israel. Obama and Panetta have

    Afghanistan now a U.S. Allie

BBC: Afghans say Karzai assassination plot foiled

Oct 5 3011 by Bilal Sarwary

Hamid Karzai in Delhi. 5 Oct 2011 President Hamid Karzai is currently on a two-day official visit to India

“A dangerous and educated group including teachers and students wanted to assassinate President Hamid Karzai,” National Directorate of Security (NDS) spokesman Lutfullah Mashal told a news conference.

“Unfortunately they infiltrated the presidential protection system and recruited one of the president’s bodyguards.”

The foiling of the apparent plot to kill Hamid Karzai comes amid a war of words between Kabul and Islamabad, and threatens to worsen relations between the two US allies.

Tensions had already risen after last month’s murder of peace negotiator Burhanuddin Rabbani and other attacks blamed on the Haqqani network.

Afghans are now asking: “If the palace is not safe, then who is?”

The BBC’s Bilal Sarwary, in Kabul, says that according to counter-terrorism sources, $150,000 (£97,000) had been wired to the group from outside the country. Laptops had been seized showing proposed targets and locations in Kabul, and also movements inside key government institutions, they said.

On Wednesday, Mr Karzai sought to reassure Pakistan about a strategic partnership agreement he signed with India in Delhi on Tuesday.

“Pakistan is a twin brother, India is a great friend. The agreement that we signed yesterday with our friend will not affect our brother,” he said.

    Obama declares Al-Qaida decimated

The India Times: Qaida weakened, can’t do a 9/11 again: Obama

    Oct 5, 2011

WASHINGTON: President Barack Obama has said that the entire al-Qaida leadership has been decimated and it would be “very difficult” for the group to stage a spectacular terror attack on the scale of the 9/11 strikes in near future.

“When you look at that entire leadership tier of al-Qaida , they have been decimated….”

Bizarre Clinton warning Jerusalem as Capital of Israel as she faces lawsuit

    New York The Sun:

Clinton, in a Sharp Turnaround, Warns Against Even Symbolically Recognizing Jerusalem as Capital of Israel

By RICK RICHMAN, Special to the Sun | September 27, 2011

Her warnings were issued in a brief she has just filed with the Supreme Court — in which she is arguing that a law she voted for when she was Senator is unconstitutional because it could require the U.S. government to give to an American citizen born at Jerusalem papers showing the birthplace as Israel.

The law requiring the government to issue such documents on request passed the Senate unanimously at a time when Mrs. Clinton was a member. But Presidents Bush and Obama have taken the position that the law infringes on the president’s prerogatives in respect of foreign policy. Mrs. Clinton is being sued by an American youngster, Menachem Zivotofsky, who was born at Jerusalem in 2002 to American parents who want his birthplace to be listed on his passport as Israel…

Five days later, the White House removed “Israel” from each of the Biden pictures, without announcing the deletion. The State Department also quietly deleted “Israel” from references to “Jerusalem, Israel” on numerous official documents on its own website, dating from the Bush administration.

Mrs. Clinton’s brief alleges that any American action that “symbolically or concretely” signals it recognizes Jerusalem being in Israel would “critically compromise the ability of the United States to work with Israelis, Palestinians and others in the region to further the peace process.”…

Many Medicare patients get surgeries in last year of life

As many as one-third of Medicare beneficiaries in fee-for-service plans have inpatient surgery in the last year of their life, a new Harvard study finds. (Who else to lead the way on the coming debate, brought to you by USAToday…)

But the issue of whether such surgery is necessary or not is a tricky one that can only be decided by the doctor, the patient and patient’s family,….

Right, but now with Obama and the eugencists, environmentalists, PETA, and multitude of expectant beneficiaries for the world’s yet-to-be-pillage wealth, it will be opened up for a debate, devoid of morals, except those that are “made” relative…
