New Film Production Company Launches, Focusing on Films That Advance the Principles of Freedom and Liberty

Can you remember when kids played cowboys and Indians–and no one thought about it being offensive? Do you long for the time when your kids’ textbooks included the term Snowman–rather than Snowperson? LA-based film Producer/Director Becky Best and Producer Wendy A. Goldman remember those days – and have launched Crusader Pictures, a new film entity committed to the simple idea of making movies that make a difference, by telling stories that support and strengthen the principles of freedom and liberty. The new company is the brainchild of these two producers, who met at the Los Angeles-based Wednesday Morning Club, a Mecca for right-thinking entertainment executives in Los Angeles.

Crusader’s first film, an original story by award-winning screenwriter Baxter Taylor, entitled An Incorrect Man, uses humor to give people a vision of life in a world overrun by political correctness— and one man’s journey through an Orwellian nightmare in which he can’t say or do anything without offending someone. The story is inspired by a series of articles written by author Judith Weizner, originally published in Heterodoxy Magazine, a journal published by The David Horowitz Freedom Center. The team at Crusader Pictures also includes veteran marketing and distribution executive Victor Vanden Oevre.

So if you are fed up with the eruption of social tyranny known as Political Correctness, and think 8 year-old kids shouldn’t have to get a business license to set up a lemonade stand, follow Crusader Pictures at the Crusader Pictures website, at Facebook and at Twitter.

underpublicized article in Forbes by Denise D’Souza: “How Obama thinks”

D’souza’s premise is that Obamy is acting as Obamy Sr’s surrogate and as the last of the anti-colonialists…people from 3rd world countries who view the United States as the heir of the oppressor colonialist nations of the 19th and 20th centuries.

He gives several examples of Obamy’s actions in the context that are hard to understand under the more conventional threories that he is some form of socialist. D’Souza is saying that Obamy is not just redistributing wealth inside the United States, but redistributing our wealth to OTHER COUNTRIES. Marxism is secondary to Obamy’s intense desire to fulfill his father’s vision by bringing the United States to its knees. D’souza also points out that nothing Obamy says would lead anybody to think he is a conventional follower of MLK. His vision is totally different.

    Lots of good insights.

If D’souza is correct, then Obamy has scammed his handlers just as much as he has scammed our country.

Mark Levin backhands the nouveau rino’s at Hot Air:

“Well, I looked more closely at Castle’s co-sponsorship of the Obamacare repeal effort. It seems he signed on July 30th of this year. Now, let me guess. Did he do it because, well, his opponent, Christine O’Donnell, had been hammering him relentlessly for his refusal to definitively state that he would support repeal? That would certainly cause some of us to question his reliability, as he is generally an unreliable conservative Republican. ….

Notice, too, that neither the Weekly Standard nor Hotair linked to this video in their latest posts on Castle, which would have raised the very problem I raise here. What the Weekly Standard and Hotair should have done, IMHO, is expose Castle’s duplicity. Now, unfortunately, the duplicity appears to be spreading”

You have to love Levin. No quarter.

Full disclosure, ol pro is tempted by rino’ism himself from time to time. I haven’t made up my mind about Castle and the lovely O’Donnell. I strongly agree with both sides of the issue.

(I’m also convinced that Pawlenty is going to be the nominee for 2012, but note that Levin takes a swipe at him as well in this piece.)

    Let the bloodletting begin.

    • tranquil.night says:

Gotta love Levin and you’re right to acknowledge that there’s a time to realistically back RINO’s.. or at least “moderates” like Scott Brown. What I personally don’t like to hear is Insider Elites using the “she can’t win” me-me before the primary is over. It’s a populist smear that reeks of self-centered ego and the “can’t win in the arena of ideas” strategy, which already calls into question his veritable moral credentials.

Centrist political junkies like the Hotair’s Chumppundit analyze templates and statistical formulas surrounding polls I think without fully understanding the possibilities in today’s unprecedented political environment. A couple months back, he was paranoid about Rubio’s numbers when every wise Conservative around knew Marco was a smart guy that could easily outmaneuver that publicity hog and power whore Crist while minimizing the Democrat contender. Beltway Conservatives love to parrot the “misread mandate of ’94” and are still inclined to side with the delusional fantasies of the Ruling Class that this wave of anger is merely Anti-Obama or Anti-Incumbent/Establishment and not fundamentally changing America’s political landscape, if not that of the world.

Let the insiders think what they want but don’t try and shut the ousider candidates out from voters because they’re outsiders. Play the facts and let others make an informed choice on their own merit. Anything less is manipulation, and personally I’d rather have a Democrat manipulator than a Republican one because Democrats don’t damage our public brand (Jerry Brown for California Governor!)

Regarding the 2012 primary, let’s have a full ticket and let’s do it right. Pawlenty, Romney, Newt, Bolton, Palin, Ron Paul hell throw Col. West in there and dare the rest to step to him in a debate. Let’s show the world that we are the party of diversity of ideas, class of character, civility of debate, and passion for principles. The American people will have a more dynamic President if he or she has to engage and overcome a greater range of strong competitors.

      Long post again.. sorry.

    • Liberals Demise says:

Col. West is a man among men and he will get my vote because he is not a D.C. suck up or bought by failure.
All the others mentioned are okay but flawed for being professional politicians.
Good post none the less, t.n !

    • proreason says:

The problem with Castle and the lovely O’Donnell is probability.

If you knew that Castle would win 100% if he gets the nomination, the choice would be easy. Or if you knew the lovely O’Donnell would lose 100% if she gets the nomination, the choice would also be easy.

But you can’t really know, hence we all become quantum physicists.

I also include ‘principled’ conservatives in that, knowing they will support the lovely O’Donnell come hell or high water, but also knowing my principles are somewhat different than theirs.

At this point in time, I only have one ‘principle’ which is: unless Obamy is defeated, there won’t be any other principles to worry about.

Religion of peace beats up Christians in Indonesia

Christians Stabbed, Beaten With Plank Near Indonesia’s Capital

    Published September 12, 2010

    | Associated Press

BEKASI, Indonesia – BEKASI, Indonesia (AP) — Assailants stabbed a Christian worshipper in the stomach and pounded a minister in the head with a wooden plank as they headed to morning prayers Sunday outside Indonesia’s capital.

Neither of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

No one claimed responsibility for the attacks. But suspicion immediately fell on Islamic hard-liners who have repeatedly warned members of the Batak Christian Protestant Church against worshipping on a field housing their now-shuttered church.

In recent months, they have thrown shoes and water bottles at the church members, interrupted sermons with chants of “Infidels!” and “Leave Now!” and dumped piles of feces on the land.

Yet it’s us Americans who are “intolerant” because we don’t like the idea of a victory moosque.

Local police Chief Imam Sugianto said Asia Sihombing, a worshipper, was on his way to the field when assailants jumped off a motorcycle and stabbed him in the stomach.

The Rev. Luspida Simanjuntak was smashed in the head as she tried to come to his aid.

Yes, the “religion of peace” where all are welcome and tolerance is the word of the day. Indeed. Were it not for islam, I would not know what tolerance was.

And here’s a paragraph that’s so wrong, it cannot be fixed.

Indonesia, a secular country of 237 million people, has more Muslims than any other in the world. Though it has a long history of religious tolerance, a small extremist fringe has become more vocal in recent years.

So, it’s a “secular country”. Yet the same sentence contradicts itself. I’m afraid I missed the “secular” training day. And, of course they mis-identify the violent ones as “extremists”. Where have I heard that before? Oh, yeah, right. The way they talk about tea-party members. “extremists”.

I’m afraid it’s getting really hard to read the drivel that AP writers ooze out of their HP printers. If I were an English teacher, the whole article would maybe warrant a “D-” but only because it’s complete. However, it is also rife with political agenda talking points, lacks objectivity and tries to coerce the reader into thinking about the events in a biased manner.

On second thought, it ranks an “F”. Mostly for “Full of s__t”.

News monitor, anti-Palin group among those landing US Gulf spill contracts

WASHINGTON – The federal government hired a New Orleans man for $18,000 to appraise whether news stories about its actions in the Gulf oil spill were positive or negative for the Obama administration,…

The government also spent $10,000 for just over three minutes of video…

And it awarded a $216,625 no-bid contract for a survey of seabirds to an environmental group that has criticized what it calls the “extreme anti-conservation record” of Sarah Palin, a possible 2012 rival to President Barack Obama.

The contracts were among hundreds reviewed by The Associated Press…., some could provide ammunition for critics of government waste.

The White House is still deciding whether it will bill BP for spill-related trips by Obama and his wife, Michelle, to the Gulf, including the president’s flights aboard Air Force One,….

The contracts the government has disclosed so far include at least $5.8 million for helicopter services, $3.2 million for hotel rooms, $1.4 million for boat charters, $33,000 for oil-measuring devices aboard ships, $441,621 for cellular and satellite phone services, $25,087 for toilets, $23,217 for laundry services and $109,735 for refrigerators and freezers.

Yet the government’s new contracting data includes errors and vague entries that make it difficult to identify wasteful spending. …. A separate $90,000 contract for a single 70-pound anchor is listed incorrectly;…

In a notification to Congress, expected to be submitted this week or next, the administration will authorize the Saudis to buy as many as 84 new F-15 fighters, upgrade 70 more, and purchase three types of helicopters—70 Apaches, 72 Black Hawks and 36 Little Birds, officials said.

As one who has spent 5 of the last six years over here in SW Asia, we appreciate the support, prayers, wishes, and boxes of goodies, toiletries, and reading material that patriotic, thoughtful and generous Americans generate. Reading here (where military network admins allow access to blogs) since 2006 (formerly known as “wamp” during the Sheehan assault on decency and sense) I appreciate the news, insights and devastatingly funny and incisive commentary as an anchor for my sanity.

I would add that recent reports indicate one is far safer over here than in heavily gun-controlled D.C.where they suffer 806 deaths per 100,000 head over the last 22 months, where in Afghanistan there have only been 60 deaths per 100,000 soldiers deployed. While I would personally support the ideal then that we should pull out of D.C. first (I have taken jobs over here instead of moving my family back there) I guess we should also hope that Americans would pray and think as hard about what goes on in D.C. and who they send there as goes on over here.

FTSE cites “human rights” concerns at DuPont and UPS

    by Ross Kerber
    Sep 10, 2010; 3:27 pm ET

BOSTON (Reuters) – Major U.S. corporations DuPont Co and United Parcel Service Inc were among eight companies removed from a social investment index series because of concerns about human rights, climate change and similar matters, the UK index provider FTSE Group said.

Many managers of so-called “socially responsible funds” use the FTSE4Good and similar indexes to screen companies before buying their shares.

The most prominent change made on Thursday was the decision by FTSE’s policy committee to drop BP Plc.

FTSE said the oil giant was removed after its committee considered the social and environmental impact of the company’s huge oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico this year. …

According to its guidelines, the FTSE4Good index series excludes tobacco producers, some weapons makers and those involved with nuclear power, for instance.

Some of the recent changes may trigger debate. DuPont, for instance, is listed among the “best places to work” by Human Rights Campaign, a Washington, D.C.-based gay rights organization.

    May the hissing commence.

FTSE said it added 13 companies to the indexes, meaning they now meet the screening criteria. These include Chubb Corp and AOL in the United States, Switzerland’s Swatch Group and Italy’s Tenaris SA.

UK officials won’t meet US Lockerbie investigators

    by Jill Lawless

LONDON – The British government said Monday it has refused a request from a U.S. Senate committee to interview officials involved in the release of the man convicted of blowing up a passenger plane over Lockerbie, Scotland.

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee is sending a staffer to Britain as part of its investigation into the release of Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the only person convicted of the 1988 attack, which killed all 259 people aboard the Pan Am plane — most of them American — and 11 on the ground.

The Foreign Office said it had declined a request for officials to meet the U.S. Senate staffer, because the Civil Service Code prevents serving staff from discussing the policies of previous governments and because of concerns over international jurisdiction. …

Krauthammer came out of Left field to slam DeMint and Palin for endorsing O’Donnell. Chumpundit couldn’t wait to post it: http://hotair.com/archives/2010/09/13/krauthammer-palins-and-demints-endorsements-of-odonnell-are-destructive-capricious-irresponsible/ Sorry Charlie, you’ve got a great mind but you’ve been sitting at the roundtable with your friend Bill Crystal for too long.

Read this revealing article from ABC. Mind you, these are Democrats that’re praising Castle while claiming to be chomping at the bit to take on hopeless O’Donnell (tells you of whom they’re really afraid):

In Tuesday’s Delaware primary, the tea party movement may inflict its most devastating wound yet to the Republican establishment.

With an assist from Sarah Palin, tea party activists in Delaware are trying to defeat the Republican candidate with the best chance to win Joe Biden’s old Senate seat and nominate instead a candidate Republican leaders say has no chance of winning the general election in November.

Rep. Mike Castle is considered a slam dunk to capture Joe Biden’s old Senate seat. Castle is a pro-abortion rights, pro-gun control Republican who often works with Democrats. Those traits have helped make him the most popular Republican in a state that leans heavily Democratic; Castle has twice been elected governor and was elected as Delaware’s sole representative in the House nine times.

As Krauthammer parrots Buckley: “vote for the strongest Conservative that can win.” Do Democrats fawn over true Conservatives like this? Pro-abortion and gun controls?

This one, however, may be the most bitterly divisive Republican primary yet. Republican leaders say an O’Donnell victory would destroy the state party and pretty much ruin any GOP chances of capturing Biden’s old seat.

“I have no doubt if she by some miracle became the nominee she would lose the seat by unprecedented numbers,” Delaware Republican Party chairman Tom Ross said.

That’s some serious turd to be flinging from the establishment that as Rush noted supported her candidacy in 2008, when her “shady past” was more relevant than now. Meanwhile, Michelle has full details on all the hidden Ruling Class puppet strings attached to Castle: http://michellemalkin.com/2010/09/13/the-de-senate-gop-primary-castle-soros-a-health-advisory/

Christine did something to seriously piss off the Northeastern elite that is for sure. The Conservative group ISI, for which she worked and from whom she sought (not sued) a hilariously ridiculous amount, also administers the National Review and Weekly Standard. So that’s a theory. But it’s a non-issue and the polls reflect that.

America is in revolt and Conservative Americanism is like a phoenix rising and singing across all corners of the fruited plane. It’s happening because we treated them like adults and told them truth from the beginning and it’s just too obvious now. If it doesn’t succeed at the ballot box it will happen by other means.. but it will happen. The Ruling Class is being castrated, and that includes these elitist Northeastern cowards hiding behind the brand of the Republican party or worse – the shield of Conservatism – that’re trying to co-opt our momentum into their own power block with the intent to be the “reasonable, bipartisan side of the opposition” within the big clique. McCain, Brown & Company? You better believe they’re relishing the thought of being the ‘mediators’ that’re going foul up every limited-government reform.

No, the American people are wise to it. They’re trampling the RINOs, and that includes the good intentioned intellectual beltway Conservatives that throw in their two-cents too if they get in the way. They’re all just up in the ivory towers and out of touch at this point if they still don’t get that the Country Class is simply reviled by all these fatheads sitting at roundtables in Washington getting paid big bucks to analyze, debate, and chum around with one another while nothing gets done and hard-working people get raped.

    You say she can’t win.
According to the polls a majority of Delaware Republicans now disagree.

MSNBC: France moves to ban wearing of full Muslim veils
    by Elaine Ganley 9/14/2010

PARIS — The French Senate on Tuesday overwhelmingly passed a bill banning the burqa-style Islamic veil in public, but….

The Senate voted 246 to 1 Tuesday in favor of the bill, which has already passed in the lower chamber, the National Assembly. It will need President Nicolas Sarkozy’s signature.

The French Senate on Tuesday voted overwhelmingly to ban the burqa-style Islamic veil everywhere from post offices to streets.

Many Muslims believe the latest legislation is one more blow to France’s second religion, and risks raising the level of Islamophobia in a country where mosques, like synagogues, are sporadic targets of hate. Some women have vowed to wear a full-face veil despite the law.

… It is aimed at ensuring gender equality, women’s dignity and security,…

Kenza Drider, however, says she’ll flirt with arrest to wear her veil as she pleases.

.”It is a law that is unlawful,” said Drider, a mother of four from Avignon, in southern France….

“I will continue to live my life as I always have with my full veil,” she told Associated Press Television News.

Drider was the only woman who wears a full-faced veil to be interviewed by a parliamentary panel…

Muslim leaders concur that Islam does not require a woman to hide her face. However,…

Raphael Liogier, a sociology professor who heads the Observatory of the Religious in Aix-en-Provence, says that Muslims in France are already targeted by hate-mongers and the ban on face-covering veils “will officialize Islamophobia.”

“With the identity crisis that France has today, the scapegoat is the Muslim,” he said…

“I won’t go out. I’ll send people to shop for me. I’ll stay home, very simply,” said Oum Al Khyr, who wears a “niqab” that hides all but the eyes.

“I’ll spend my time praying,” said the single woman “over 45” who lives in Montreuil on Paris’ eastern edge. “I’ll exclude myself from society when I wanted to live in it.”

Two of the nine mortar shells fired from the Gaza Strip at southern Israel on Tuesday were actually phosphorous bombs, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed.

Militants in the coastal territory also fired two Qassam rockets into Israel, yielding an Israel Air Force strike in response that led to the death of one Palestinian working in a smuggling tunnel on the border with Egypt.

There was also a fear of renewed violence across the border in Jordan, with the U.S. embassy in the country warning of a high chance of terror attacks in the Red Sea city of Aqaba over the coming 48 hours.

The increased attacks from Gaza were apparently made in attempt to scupper Middle East peace talks. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was hosting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at his official residence in Jerusalem on Wednesday,…

Hamas, which control the Gaza strip, have condemned the talks and early this month timed a pair of West Bank shooting attacks to coincide with the opening of negotiations in Washington, killing four Israelis and wounding two.

    Coons up big
    Wednesday, September 15, 2010

Republicans more than likely cost themselves a Senate seat last night. Chris Coons begins the general election in Delaware with a 50-34 lead over Christine O’Donnell. Mike Castle would have led Coons by a 45-35 margin.

    Election 2010: Delaware Senate
    Delaware Senate: Coons (D) 53%, O’Donnell (R) 42%

Coons earns 53% of the vote to O’Donnell’s 42%, with leaners included. One percent (1%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided.

    China Extorts Electric Car Technology

Well, you knew it was coming…and so it begins…and this is just step 1.

    From the Wall Street Journal

    China Spooks Auto Makers

BEIJING—China’s government is considering plans that could force foreign auto makers to hand over cutting-edge electric-vehicle technology to Chinese companies in exchange for access to the nation’s huge market, international auto executives say.

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is preparing a 10-year plan aimed at turning China into “the world’s leader” in developing and producing battery-powered cars and hybrids, according to executives at four foreign car companies who are familiar with the ministry’s proposal.

The draft suggests that the government could compel foreign auto makers that want to produce electric vehicles in China to share critical technologies by requiring the companies to enter joint ventures in which they are limited to a minority stake, the executives say.

The plan is “tantamount to China strong-arming foreign auto makers to give up battery, electric-motor, and control technology in exchange for market access,” says a senior executive at one foreign car maker. “We don’t like it.”

So what’s next? Making us an “offer we can’t refuse”?

I knew that they would become loan-sharks. Protect your kneecaps.

Your correct LMGS. Used to work in a large manufacturing city. There were two large companies that made machines that you could make other machines from. Both sold 2 VERY VERY large machines to China. They were copied once they arrived and the Chinese started making them. Now, both companies are out of business because of this.

Should mention that both companies were fully aware that they would steal their designs, but sold the machines to them anyway.

The Leaf Chronicle: AP: LSP 101st Airborne taking fight into Taliban haven

By Todd Ptiman AP September 16, 2010

ASHOQEH, Afghanistan — U.S. Army Capt. Brant Auge swept his hand across a satellite map of southern Afghanistan and pointed to a dark band of river-fed vineyards, pomegranate groves and marijuana fields arcing through an otherwise barren valley.

The band is what U.S. troops in this Taliban stronghold call “The Green Zone” — a fertile belt of vegetation crawling with insurgents targeted in a U.S.-led operation. The operation, which began slowly on Wednesday, could mark one of the most critical stages of the nearly nine-year war.

American commanders are hoping to clear the region of guerrillas and destroy their main fighting positions in the weeks and months ahead before President Barack Obama makes a critical assessment in December of the effectiveness of the 30,000-man surge…..

American commanders are hoping to weaken the Taliban by establishing ties between residents and their nascent district government — with which most have little or no contact for years. “We have to give them that other option, show that the Afghan government can provide for their needs,” he said.

The lush belt’s abundant undergrowth, which straddles the Arghandab River in an arc west and northwest of Kandahar, can conceal guerrilla fighters so well that U.S. troops often see only muzzle flashes in the shadows. Grape fields are strung over 4-foot-high mud walls that substitute as highly effective fighting positions.

Taliban fighters have dug small defensive berms in some spots and planted defensive pressure-plate bombs around their compounds. They have used tunnels in neighboring mountains. And troops have discovered hidden “shelves” inside water wells they believe have been used to store weapons and people.

That’s their terrain,” said another company commander, Capt. Nick Stout, standing atop a nearby hilltop outpost overlooking the strategic valley.

“It’s single canopy jungle in there,” said the 27-year-old native of Lake Orion, Michigan.

Pointing to one main thoroughfare in his area of operations, Stout said grimly: “That road is straight-up owned by the Taliban.”

Many U.S. outposts, including Auge’s, are scattered across the green band; but patrols around them have been limited and they come under frequent attack.

On Saturday, U.S. troops south of the town of Senjeray spotted insurgents holed up in a series of compounds. As gunbattles echoed across the valley, troops called in air support…

The fighting stopped after jets dropped two bombs — one 500 pounds, the other 1,000 — .

    But progress was clearly slow.

U.S. forces, he said, had gone only “slightly farther than we’ve gone before.”

First Democrat Joins House GOP Effort to Repeal Health Care Law

    From FOX news: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/09/16/democrat-joins-house-gop-effort-repeal-health-care-law/

Mississippi Rep. Gene Taylor has become the first Democratic co-sponsor of a Republican effort to repeal the health care law, joining 172 GOPers to call for a vote to end the legislation.

Taylor, an 11-term lawmaker known as a Blue Dog for his fiscal moderation, issued a statement Thursday saying that he is joining the “discharge petition” proposed by Iowa Republican Rep. Steve King to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, signed into law on March 23.

“I didn’t vote for it, people don’t want it, and the taxpayers cannot afford it,” Taylor said in a statement issued on his website.

He told Fox News that he’d rather see Congress deny health insurance firms their antitrust law exemption — something lawmakers have tried to do.

“I want to see competition in insurance,” Taylor said.

If 218 lawmakers sign a discharge petition, it forces a bill to be brought to the House floor for a vote, although the majority leadership has maneuvers to avoid a vote.

No House Republicans supported the bill and 31 Democrats opposed it at the time of the vote. Several Democrats are campaigning for re-election on their disapproval of the bill.

However, even if the legislation gets 218 people to sign on, and it is approved in the House, and a like-minded bill passed the Senate, it’s not likely President Obama would sign off on abolishing his hallmark legislation.

But opponents of the law say it’s important to get on the record in support of a repeal.

    Hm….even a busted clock is right twice a day…

Report: Los Angeles spent $70 million in stimulus funds to create 7.76 jobs

    By John Cook

A new piece of evidence has emerged in the debate over the effectiveness of President Obama’s 2009 stimulus package, and it’s not good for Democrats. According to two newly released audits performed by the Los Angeles controller, L.A. spent enormous portions of the $594 million in stimulus funds it received on projects that created or saved just a handful of jobs. All told, the audits — available here — examined $111 million in stimulus spending by the city’s Department of Transportation and Department of Public Works, and found that the money went to projects that created or retained just 54 jobs. That works out to roughly $2 million per job.

The $71 million that went to the Department of Public Works, which funded 15 road-surfacing and similar projects, was projected to save or create 238 jobs. But according to the audit, the money created just 7.76 jobs, or slightly more than $10 million per new job, and saved 37.7 (the fractions are a result of calculating the number of jobs by hours worked). The Department of Transportation’s $40 million created or retained just nine jobs, the audit found. …

    Where did the money go?

The Department of Transportation, for instance, spent $9 million to install new LED lightbulbs in traffic lights at 1,800 intersections. Less the $228,000 in labor costs associated with the project, that’s nearly $5,000 per location to change lightbulbs. Another project spent $4 million to install 65 new left-turn arrows, averaging more than $61,500 per arrow.

    Government efficiency at its best.

I wonder how many jobs the private sector could have created with $70 million in tax breaks?

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

I heard it said back when the stim-you-lost package went out…that it would’ve been better to just divide that money up and give it to taxpaying citizens. For the taxpayer, that would’ve been a HUGE sum of money. Some would’ve bought houses (cash) others invested in businesses, etc etc. Though of debatable potential benefit, I’ll bet it would’ve done a hell of a lot more to actually jump start the economy than giving it to fellow crooks and other money vacuums.

Again, I’m pretty sure now that it was intentionally done by the socialists to drain any/all funding from the federal reserve and to keep it crippled for years. As everyone knows, once it’s spent, getting any of it back is impossible.

So after it is now wasted, the next step is to “cry broke” and thus, rape the remaining liquidity from the citizenry in the form of crippling taxes.
