The idea of actually granting representation to 588,292 U.S. citizens is just so offensive. These people don't live in a state and so they should not have any say over anything in our country. What you wanna put in your two cents about who should be president? Pssh I don't think so. After all the IRS only collected $20,393,510,000 of Federal tax revenue from you chumps last year. A revenue per capita of $34,665.63

By comparison:

North Dakota has 639,715 people and their per capita is $5,720.89

Vermont with 621,254 and $6,126.50

Alaska - 683,478 and $6,272.62

Montana - 957,861 and $4,721.65

Wyoming - 522,830 and $9,036.74

South Dakota - 796,214 and $5,985.27

Barrgh which part of the constitution do we follow?

No taxation without representation or allowing only the states the right to representation.

We might as well give the power to Puetro Rico while we're at it.
They're a territory of the United States, so they should get equal rights as us!

There goes more money for no reason. 2 more people get fat paychecks for doing nothing, and retirement etc.

I can't wait to see the poor people of D.C. spend money and energy competing to see who is the best Congressman to elect:
1. The racist black activist.
2. The really racist black activist.

Either way, the winner will be a joke and a disgrace to humanity. Just watch and see what turd comes crawling out of the cesspool. (YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST FOLKS!)

Power...it's all about keeping the Dems in permanently...Eventually moving to a one party system by eliminating the Republican party. The unfairness doctrine, moving the census to the WH, the steal-from-us bill, are all designed as part of the plot...according to some opinions. But it does make sense. Hopefully, the American people will wake up in time to stop the madness.

Since when does a mere 3,000 people across the country represent the majority of a population of 300 million? Flawed as it is, leave the system alone. Besides, it's the vice-president's job to cast the deciding vote on bills resulting in a tie. Why do people want to screw the system up even more?

I believe you're correct Pro, except the voting age will be lowered to 16 to correspond to when drivers licenses are issued.

Not that I care either for or against the people of D.C., and I love my representation as much as the next guy, but the consitution is rather explicit on the fact that states have members of congress, and since the district is not a state, how can a simple law passed by the congress give D.C a U.S. Representative? It obviously needs a constitutional amendment. And why make a mockery out of the whole situation by giving them a representative, when I'm sure by population they would be entitled to several. And why no senators? But like you said, the constitution be damned. Just speaking truth to power.

ACORN funded by us.

Voter fraud rampant.

Census moving to the Moron's house.

Open borders next in line.

Now this.

Anybody see a pattern?

Predictions: voting rights for criminals, voting age lowered to 17, voting from home. Because of course, crooks and kids and lazy-asses are the liberal base
