Shocker: Ahmadinejad Wins In Landslide

From Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency:

Latest figures in Iran’s Presidential Elections

6/13/2009

Tehran, June 13, IRNA – According to the latest results of Iran’s Presidential Election, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has got 65.24 percent of the votes.

Head of the Elections Headquarters Kamran Daneshjoo told reporters Saturday morning that 35,268 ballot boxes had been counted until 5:50 am which were 77.13 percent of the total boxes.

According to Daneshjoo, out of 28,050,761 counted votes, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has got 18,302,924 votes which constitutes 65.24 percent of the total counted votes.

Mir Hossein Moussavi has got 8,929,232 votes which is 31.83 percent, Mohsen Rezaee has got 570,174 votes that is 2,03 percent and Mahdi Karroubi has got only 248,431 votes which is 0.88 percent.

Gosh, we sure didn’t see this coming.

After all, our media masters and Mr. Obama himself indicated that the elections would be fair and that Mr. Mousavi had a real chance.

But of course the media also told us that Mr. AAhmadinejad’s supporters are like Republicans.

Well, with an American President whose [former] pastor and mentor spouts off authors who write singularly about the illegitimacy of Israel’s nationalization and current militarism, and holds the conspiratorial views shared by an anti-Semitic killer, why would there be any need for the Mullahs to back away from crazy A? It’s Iran’s right for nukes because Israel has only existed in the Middle East on the backs of the Arabs! Wright downright said he believes it and Bam’s actions prove that’s the policy! It’s Israel that’s expected to be making all the big concessions here! It’s going to be forced on them or they’re done! Obama’s not just going to not stop it, he’s going to make sure it happens!

We really can’t overlook Wright’s “clarification” on his “them jews” remark. It speaks volumes; he really really gave us a big clue here as this whole thing unfolds.

Yeah he said “Those Zionists” and then went on to give references to Jewish authors who in my opinion have written the untold story of our new relationship with Israel: that it wasn’t supposed to be there in the first place and has only survived through atrocities committed upon Palestinians with Imperialistic American support. It may have been a Freudian slip, I don’t think so. I think Bam and Wright, son and father, both have their own way of saying exactly what they believe without it somehow reaching the ears of the American people. I think they know they can get away with it now because there’s so much emotion circling around them that no one will look objectively at what they say; Wright obviously more so since Bam did alright at distancing himself way on in the campaign.

“We Americans are only starting to find out what living under fear is all about.” interesting point RB.

      FEAR: False Expectations About Reality

      leads to the Liberal response:

FEAR: F Everything and Run (or a Frantic Effort to Avoid Reality)

      or conservative enlightenment:

FEAR: Face Everything and Recover (For Everything a Reason)

Wasn’t even a Freudian slip, was it? Didja hear the “correction” for what he “meant to say”? Yeah, he meant to say “those zionists”. Alrighty then. That’s different! Faux-pas excused, let’s move on to the next thing, people.

Well, at least we’re rooting out true black racism which the rest of the world likes to think can’t possibly exist.

    • Barbie says:

What would Wright’s reaction have been if a white man had remarked on ‘them blacks’?

  3. Reality Bytes says:

The White House declared Thursday’s Iranian election “Historic”. Really? For What?! Perhaps their base thinks it’s their first one – thanks to their feckless leader of course.

  4. proreason says:

Well, we know there are 570,174 plus 248,431 Iranians with courage.

If you exclude the military and public safey personnel, are there that many in this country with the courage to face the Moron’s knee-breakers and voting place “protection agents” (aka, Black Panthers)?

PR – My German born mother asked her East German Aunt “Emma, Why didn’t you do something against the NAZI’s?!”

“Linda, the walls had ears.” was the reply in German.

We Americans are only starting to find out what living under fear is all about.

    • caligirl9 says:

My German grandma and (former) Hitler Youth mother said the same thing, sort of.

“It was good. At first. But you could not say anything bad about anything either.”

Difference between what’s happening here and what happened there: we never got to have the good.

    • proreason says:

      “It was good. At first.”

Hitler’s economic policies were very successful at putting the population back to work. But a lot of what he did was with military intent. The autobahn system was designed for military transportation. There were hardly any cars in Germany at the time.

At least The Moron hasn’t shown any intent so far to conquer the world militarily. But I wonder, if his promise-everything-to-everybody strategy fails to have the entire world swooning in a year or two, will he revert to the full Nazi model.

So far, we see the early stages of fascism, contol of the financial system, propaganda control, the Obamy youth, disregard for the law, anti-Semitism and megalomania. The only missing ingredient for full-blown Nazi-style totalitarianism is to grab for personal control of the military..

  5. Reality Bytes says:

ProR – “It was good at first.” You realize that was actually said by the White House a few weeks back? Yeah, sure. Facism can be good so long as the right folks are in power – like liberals from Chicago, New York & LA for instance. Yeah, that’s the ticket. It’s not so bad. It’s just Hitler got a little carried away is all. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We’ll find out soon enough.

SG .. “Gosh, we sure didn’t see this coming.

His election predictions (and self proclaimed credit) had as much credibility as his pandering speech in Cairo.

    Despiccable fool.

  7. bronzeprofessor says:

Minnesota Rush, Yes, I totally agree with you. I just posted something expressing the same thing on my site today. This election is Obama’s Pearl Harbor — he had really stilted intelligence and simply miscalculated the effect of his speech in Cairo. The best I can hope is that Obama learns from this experience and brings his soaring idealism down to earth again.

…..”The best I can hope is that Obama learns from this experience and brings his soaring idealism down to earth again…..

My guess is, Obama’s speech in Cairo produced the desired (for him) effect. His pro-islam tilt is obvious to any wishing to see it. People in this country should be fearful of the future, yet all they do is applaud his every treasonous act.

I’m anxious for the next few generations well being.

    • bronzeprofessor says:

John, you have good reason to worry. I guess we have to keep on questioning, questioning, questioning, and sooner or later, if we are fortunate, people will start listening.

  8. 12 Gauge Rage says:

In the Sixties the phrase I always heard was ‘Never trust anyone over thirty.’ For me it’s now become ‘Never trust anyone over the far Left.’ How could anyone with a rational mind even think that the Napoleon of Iran was going to let himself lose and go away quietly.
