Sharpton arrested as hundreds protest NYC police shooting

NEW YORK - The Rev. Al Sharpton was arrested at the Brooklyn Bridge on Wednesday as he and hundreds of demonstrators blocked traffic to protest the acquittal of three detectives in the 50-bullet shooting of an unarmed black man on his wedding day.
Sharpton, two survivors of the shooting and the slain man’s fiancee were among about a dozen people arrested on disorderly conduct charges near the base of the bridge. Police led away demonstrators at several other bridges and tunnels in the city…
Sharpton, shooting survivors Trent Benefield and Joseph Guzman, and Bell’s fiancee, Nicole Paultre Bell, lined up and peacefully put their hands behind their backs as police put plastic handcuffs on them. Sharpton and Bell were placed in a police vehicle…
Bell was black, as are his friends Benefield and Guzman; the three officers acquitted in the case are Hispanic, black and white…
Please note how the article neglects to mention that the “victim” was trying to run over a police officer with his automobile.
The AP should be charged with inciting a riot.
Of course that is something they do on a near daily basis.

There is an upside to this story . For libtards and all things diverse . Three badges , One white ,one black and one hispanic , and three service pistols . For diversity’s sake , it better be , a Colt , a Smith and a Ruger !

Practice, practice, practice! Well, maybe not the Safety-Slugs. They are rather price-y. Our CCW instructors tell us not to use re-loads, though. Too hard to defend in court. ;-}

Sometimes you wish these people would riot and the police take a page out the the police in places like India. The page that has you breaking a huge wooden pole a couple of inches thick over someone’s head and you can get away from it. You know if it was a white guy or anyone but a black guy who got shot, you would not have this huge, the non-whites would get a smaller protest, while the white guy would get called a thug and there would never have been a peep made about him getting shot.
I also have to say that the “victim” shouldn’t have been at a strip club till the wee hours of the morning of his wedding day.

It’s worse than that.
The contretemps all started when the “victim” wanted to hire a prostitute to do himself and his buddies. The prostitute’s pimp objected to the numbers — and the price.
Threats were exchanged, and our heroes went off to their cars to get their guns — so they said. The police tried to intervene to prevent a shoot-out, but Mr. Bell decided to drive his car into one of them.
But somehow these minor details are seldom mentioned in the national wire services’ reports.

I’m not so surprised tha Al Sharpton get’s himself arrested. What I’m surprised is that he eventually gets released. Isn’t there some way someone in the police department can Clintonestly talk him into “commiting suicide”?

Lips, gee, I was kind of surprised that he wasn’t shot and killed by the evil PO-lice at the rally. Al should really consider himself lucky considering how “racist” the PD is. There is a thing called “suicide by cop”. Maybe ol’ Al is dissappointed. I am.
