Full circle is spot on, but why?

The country has always had a wealthy elite. The “robber barons” of the late 19th century had even more wealth relative to the greater population than Buffet and Gates. And all of the Founding Fathers were educated elitists. But this full-on pitch for statism has really only emerged in the last few years.

I have to go back to the idea of Communism undermining the country to explain the current phenomenon.

They have had 3 generations now of brainwashing and it’s really starting to pay off.

In the very early times of Royal Houses, magic was used to hoodwink the public into thinking the rulers were gods. In the Middle Ages, that morphed into the Divine Right of kings, which worked really well until the Enlightenment and the American Revolution. Then there was a brief period when there was no justification for Absolute Rulers. That is, until Marx came along, and taught the despots that it was easy to trick the people into giving their rights away to revenge themseleves on wealthy people. That worked for about 80 years, but is now discredited as an explicit justification for despotic rule. It didn’t work out that great for Russia and China you know.

So now we have the Statists, whose magic elixer is the notion that life is too complicated for the common people to manage. Only the superior experstise of the educated elites is enought to protect the poor preyed upon commoners. And all the poor children have to do is give up their freedom forever and sign over everything they have to the beneovlent barkers who will so glad give them the magic elixer of safety and wealth in return.

And the most magic of magic elixers is offered by the world’s greatest magician, Barack Obamy, a combination of god-man, divine ruler, intellectual Marxist, and unparalleled con man.

PR, it’s like our country is going full circle back into it’s beginning. Alexander Hamilton believed in a strong controlling government led by an educated, affluent ruling class, should lead America. Thomas Jefferson favored a smaller government led by the common man to plot the country’s course. An aristocracy versus the common rabble. Those in power seek more of it. They don’t care about that, except that depriving us of those things makes us more dependent on them.

It’s about power. Power first, power second, power third, and power fourth.

There are some places in the U.S. where coal is the only plentiful, economical source of fuel for heat, not to mention employment for the people that live there. Why our government would want to deny our people their comfort and livelihood continues to astound me. I suppose it’s like a nagging, intruding disciplinarian relative who says they’re doing this all for our own good.

Notice she didn’t say she didn’t WANT to close down the coal industry, just that she wouldn’t be able to get the votes to do it. We are so screwed. The sad part is the American people elected these numbskulls and they are using their election as proof that the American people want to destroy the economy and become subserviant to our all-powerful govt masters.
