It’s nauseating to see the international press take issue with Israel defending itself from continued assault, including over a thousand rocket attacks launched by the terrorist organization Hamas. So what if the rockets of Hamas are not very accurate and the Israeli military is wonderfully effective? Should liberals give Hamas another 3,000 chances to improve their aim before it becomes politically correct to sic’ em?

This line is taken directly from the official Hamas Charter:

I can only hope that all countries will learn to fight terrorism so well. I suggest that Israel take back Gaza until Hamas is no longer in power. No need to give them more padding for the rocket launches….

As far as I’m concerned, when hezbollah was elected by the people to lead, it put a target on the whole of Gaza. Since they elected terrorists, they should all be classified as terrorists. Ah, the power of democracy!

Every time a terrorist compound is hit we get the sob stories, civilians were killed.
Just once I would like the media to tell me how the hell I could tell the difference between civilian and militant muslims.
They dress alike, they chant in the streets alike, they all dance and prance in the streets alike, what the hell am I missing here?

This reminds me of the short-lived war Israel fought in Lebanon a couple years ago and the hezbollah cowards surrounded themselves with women and children…and our famously ‘unbiased’ media reported only “civilian casualties” inflicted by the IDF…and not a single report on the number of terrorists killed. Or the number of “wedding parties” in Pakistan…

Your right BillK, they have learned all to well to use women and children as cover, It puts a moral human being in a nasty place and they know it.
Our troops will take a bullet before killing a child, the enemy on the other hand will gladly use the kids to take a bullet to keep breathing.

I hate Islam with absolutely no restraint, I hate the apologists without remorse.
I hate the terrorists both silent and boastful with equal ferocity.
If they choose to use a child as a bullet proof vest, if they choose to use a mother as a shield, they are the cowards, they are the ones with the blood on their hands when a soldier must make a decision when to pull the trigger or not, they are the ones that call down the thunder and then cower behind women and children like gutless bed wetting dogs.

Groups like Hamas and the insurgents in Iraq long ago learned the benefits of locating in civilian areas and civilian structures – the opposition won’t target you to the degree possible, and when they do you bring out a few dead civilians for the press – children work great for that – and the press will do the rest.

It’s not by accident that they often place their meeting places near schools and other areas groups of young children congregate.
