John Lewis Switches Support To Obama
February 27, 2008
WASHINGTON — Georgia Congressman John Lewis told WSB-TV Channel 2’s Monica Pearson Wednesday that he is switching his support from Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama.
Pearson met with Congressman John Lewis Wednesday afternoon in Washington. She was the only Atlanta TV reporter Lewis spoke to about his switch.
Talk had been swirling that Lewis might switch his endorsement from Clinton to Obama. Lewis is a superdelegate who will cast his ballot at the Democratic National Convention.
Lewis told Pearson he was switching his support because his district voted for Obama and he believes Americans are looking for a great change. He also said he had not spoken to Clinton or Obama about his decision.
Oh, my sides.
There will be some ashtrays and expletives flying around the Hillary HQ tonight.

I never believe a politician so I have to question Rep. Lewis’ real reason here. It is sad that candidates are allowed to contribute campaign money to super delegates (thus buying votes) but they are. Now that Hussein’s cash flow is leaving Hillary in the dust, did he raise his offer to get the Lewis endorsement? IMO nothing motivates a politician like money.

The great Clinton fundraising machine used to keep people in line. The Clinton’s would connect their fundraising apparatus to supporter’s campaigns and causes. But Hsu is in jail and it is now that Irish guy, O’Bama who has all the fundraising capacity. People follow the money. The Clinton’s know that.

I am shocked, really shocked that the Clintons have so lost their ‘touch’, control and ability to run the system - of course it is liberals and Democrats - they have proven over and over again the willingness to turn on each other and eat their own if the winds of change turn. . .
But as they say, it ain’t over until it’s over - and unlike Romney I don’t see the Hildabeast stepping aside for the good of the party - because I just can’t see her and the ole horney hound dog slinking back to NY for good. At. All.
I am back to thinking that Al’globalwarmingisAmerica’sfault’Gore will step up to ’save’ the Party - has anyone seen him or worse yet has he been sighted at the Gym?

Hillary’s ship is clearly sinking now. Staunch supporters are jumping ship.
The Hsu question is VERY interesting. He’s gone and POOF! Hillary is out of money. The assumption can be safely be made that he was laundering Chinese money, I think.
But this scenario leaves two very interesting questions on the table:
1. Who took out Hsu? The timing was no accident and it was purely political. He’d been wandering around for years and no one had cared, until the moment was right.
Was it a wing of the Democratic party staging a coup?
Or, was it the Republicans who thought Obama would be easier to beat?
2. Did the Chinese money disappear or has it started flowing to Obama in the form of those $109 average individual contributions?
I love a good conspiracy theory, I guess, but this all sounds like great reading in a History book in 30 years.
