Having been around dogs most of my life I generally preferred them over cats. But when it came time for me to retire from the service I promised my daughters I would get them pets that wouldn't die within a year or two, such as hamsters and goldfish often do. So my older sister, a great cat lover gave me two kittens. Now, years later I've changed my mind about cats and am amazed at their agility, cleanliness, affection, and ability to hunt down and kill small bugs and rodents that find their way into my home. Not to mention a cat's hilarious talent for schmoozing and manipulating you to get what it wants. Our two cats Calvin and Hobbes are considered part of the family and despite their late night shenanigans are on a much higher plane of civility than these islamofacist morons ever will be. Thankfully these idiots only get one life in this world because for them to have nine lives would be intolerable. Their punishment in Hell should be to scoop out the litter boxes of seventy-two cats. But then when you think of it a cat is much to smart to live a life that would earn it a spot in Hell. Keep it up with your rapier wit, LD. You and everyone else. LD, you rock!
