I don’t see the problem the most of the world seems to have about taking care of these idiots in little boats. Shoot them and dump the bodies in the sea, make an example of them then send the marines in to stomo the rest of somolia’s little pirate havens into submission. It worked for when we dealt with the Barbary pirates. “… to the shores of Tripoli” should also probably added “and Somolia.” Soften up the landing area with a good old naval bombardment and shelling. Bomb the havens into the stone age, as far as I’m conserned, if your a part of the pirate support structure or support them, your valid target for bombs, too bad about collateral damage. The pirates are a cancer and instead of excising the tumor and then trying to kill off the remaining cancerous cells, we are basically tossing nutrients other things the cancer needs to survive.

They fired the first shots at the U.S. I consider this is enough to have declared war against this pirate army. It’s not like the wild west where you only have a gun and a few shots, when it was pretty difficult to try and capture and handcuff

Here’s how the Moron thinks about this pirate situation.

1. It’s no big deal. A couple white guys held for a few days is nothing compared to a dozen brothers killing each other each week while imorally incarcerated. Piracy is insignificant compared to the evil that our country causes every day.
2. But it is important for positioning the US in the world. And the positioning he wants is to repudiate Yankee bullying. Normally, we would send warships and/or Seals in, shoot em up, grab our guys, and leave. But in The Moron’s mind THAT IS THE PROBLEM. Notice what he has done at every provocation so far? That’s right. Nothing. And it’s not because he is indecisive and weak. He decisively does nothing.
3. Every action we could take would be PROVACATIVE. Every action would just inflame passion in the parts of the world he wants to please. And the parts of the world he wants to please do not include people who read S&L.
4. Besides, the United States has forced the pirates into being pirates because we have greedily stolen their resources and used our financial muscle to hold them down and get rich at their expense. It’s no different than what we have done to all the Muslim countries and to Blacks in this country. It’s our fault and The Moron intends to fix that.

When Biden warned that we might not like what The Moron will do in a crisis, this is why, on a small scale. The Moron has to educate us about the evil of past approaches, and for racists like us, that will take some time.

In addition, people who think like The Moron don’t even think 9/11 was a big deal. A few beheadings, a piracy here and there, maybe a dirty bomb once in a while…..all of that is JUSTIFIED by what we have done. No action is called for.

And besides, count the votes. We wouldn’t vote for The Moron anyway. But he has probably picked up votes in Rev Wright’s church and the fever swamps of the lunatic left from people who didn’t think he was looney enough. The people who like him are HAPPY the pirates took our guys.

If I was a young ex-military man I would exploit this opportunity in a heartbeat. Get myself a job, with several ex-military buddies, defending these ships. Maybe have some M-16′s and small equipment like grenade launchers. Maybe charge the companies a couple grand a week per guy.
Think what fun you could have when these pirates approach the ship! And no Geneva Convention to contend with!

Step 1) Figure out how to blame it on Bush
Step 2) Make it a crisis
Step 3) Employ the MSM to make it a bigger crisis
Step 4) Have the prez come out and declare it a “crisis of epic proportions”
Step 5) Have Frank, Pelosi, Rangel, etc. point the finger at white people who want to destroy the pirates and label them racists
Step 6) Convince the general public, through the MSM that the only way to stop the pirates is to throw money at them
Step 7) Throw money at the pirates.

Substeps include but are not limited to: impressing on the people that pirates have rights, that they “deserve” more than just a wee little boat and some guns to make their living, that they are victims, that the racist, cruel people of the free world are responsible for them not being happy.

Clearly, this administration, from the bottom to the top, is out of its league. They would prefer to have more parties and smoke some weed and “get down” rather than really address the problem. When asked about the FIRST act of piracy, yesterday, by a reporter, The Black Stick said, “Guys, we’re talking about housing” and thus, he was both unwilling and unprepared to discuss it because he HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO.

Sure, the Navy is there. But I’ll bet dollars’ll getcha donuts that they haven’t even loaded a single weapon, under orders from HIS ROYAL ASS-NESS.

Y’know…the only thing that keeps me even slightly content is that someday this whole f-ed up government is gonna get theirs. But, I’m still waiting for Bill-Jeff to die of an STD so….maybe just a pipe dream.

And the pirates…or “emissaries of a lighter kind of terrorism” or whatever the hell they want us to call these “people” have nothing to lose and everything to gain. And they are enjoying leading us around by the nuts.
