Shocker: MoveOn (Soros) Endorses Obama
From a highly conflicted Associated Press:
Obama endorsed by anti-war group
By NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writer Fri Feb 1
LOS ANGELES - Barack Obama picked up the endorsement of a leading anti-war group Friday and said Democratic presidential rival Hillary Rodham Clinton still has not adequately explained her vote to go into Iraq.
Obama told reporters in a news conference that, even though Clinton explains how she would like to end the war, her explanation for her vote leading into the war is disingenuous. He said his opposition against the war from the start will make him the stronger rival to Republican front-runner and war backer John McCain in the general election.
Obama’s long-standing opposition to the war helped him pick up the backing of MoveOn.org, a liberal network which counts 3.2 million members and decided to support him by a vote of 70 percent to 30 percent for Clinton. The group said Friday that it has 1.7 million members in the 22 states scheduled to vote in the race Tuesday, and it would immediately begin a campaign to get them behind Obama…
MoveOn.org executive director Eli Pariser said the country needs a president to end the war, provide universal health care, address climate change, restore America’s standing in the world and “change business as usual in Washington.” …
This is a mild surprise, given the intricate intertwining of Mr. Soros and the Clintons.
He and his stooges at MoveOn must have calculated that Mr. Obama will damage the country even more than Mrs. Clinton.
Though it is hard to believe that is even possible.
More likely it’s just more window-dressing to make it seem like Mrs. Clinton has overcome obstacles to achieve her (inevitable) coronation.
And, after all, just like an endorsement from the Daily Kos, a plug from these folks usually means the kiss of death.

I agree, much like a Kos endorsement, moveon is the kiss of death. . .must have been planned all along to give the Hildabeast a clearer path.
Went up to the local Air Force base on Friday - someone in the hospital parking lot had a cute window sticker - the Scream with ‘Clinton Again’ - I thought it very funny.

When it comes to endorsements, the question to ask is “what’s in it for the endorser?”. In this case, they probably figure Obama will be easier to influence (control) than Hillary. She has ruffled their feathers before by not being as far left as they wanted her to be. She’s still way out there to be sure, but Obama is a lot more slick and devious…and further left.
In McCain’s case, the endorsers see a front runner and think they’ll get a job in his administration. Of course, I’m as likely to be elected president as John McCain is, so they’re dreaming.

Nice picture (gag, splooge). You’d think that someone with gazillions of bucks to waste on liberal causes could at least see a doctor or get a face lift, etc.
