WASHINGTON (AFP) - Hillary Clinton is smart and forceful, John McCain is proud but has a volatile temper, and Barack Obama is a diplomat who deals well with different people and situations.
At least, that’s what graphologists say their handwriting reveals about them…
Just the signatures of the candidates are revelatory — at least to the eye of an expert.
Republican John McCain’s signature shows a proud, idealistic but impulsive, if not uncontrollable man, according to the experts.
Lowe saw impulsiveness and a “short fuse” in McCain’s variable writing style.
New York graphologist Roger Rubin agreed, and also saw a powerful ego at play in the senator from Arizona.
“The unevenness of the rhythm reflects the unevenness of his temperament,” Rubin said.
“The capital J is the largest letter, which shows his strong belief in his own ego. The size of ‘John’ overwhelms the size of ‘McCain’ — this shows how distant he is from his family roots.”
Obama’s signature reveals similar traits.
The vertical straight line of the B in Obama cuts through the large O — which is nonetheless smaller than the B in Barack.
“The very large B shows he also has a very strong sense of his own ego,” Rubin said.
“And he is crossing out his family name,” he added, recalling that Obama’s father left the family when the front-runner for the Democratic nomination was just a young boy.
Another graphologist had a different interpretation of the bisected O.
“He draws that circle and a line through it, and it’s really like he has two different worlds,” said Paula Sassi, who has been interpreting handwriting for 28 years.
“I think it shows his black and white heritage.”
The fluidity of Obama’s signature is a sign of high intelligence, while its illegibility shows he is protecting his privacy.
“He doesn’t want you to know him too well,” said Arlyn Imberman, author of “Signatures for Success.”
“He shows a part of himself to the world but not everything,” said Lowe.
The large letters in Obama’s signature show that he is ambitious, self-confident and views himself as a leader, said Imberman.
“The fluid letter forms reveal that he can form a coalition, be diplomatic and get along with both sides of the aisle,” she added. “He’s the type of guy who could tell you to go to hell and you’d enjoy the trip.”
Clinton’s legible, balanced signature shows a woman of great intelligence.
It’s simplicity portrays a “what-you-see-is-what-you-get” personality, said Lowe.
Her straight-up-and-down writing indicates that she “thinks with her head, not with her heart,” said Sassi.
“But there is enough roundness in her writing to show that she cares about people,” said Imberman.
The fact that the second leg of the H and the second L in Hillary are higher than the first show ambition.
And she’s a perfectionist: “Every thing is written carefully, legibly,” said Imberman.
It is difficult, the experts say, to tell the sex of a person from their handwriting, or to discern if they are left- or right-handed.
But, interestingly enough, Obama and McCain are lefties — just like four out of five US presidents immediately before them: Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr and Bill Clinton.
What media bias?
Let’s boil it down.
Mr. McCain’s signature shows:
proud but has a volatile temper… idealistic but impulsive, if not uncontrollable man… impulsiveness and a short fuse… a powerful ego… unevenness of his temperment [sic]… his strong belief in his own ego… this shows how distant he is from his family roots…
Meanwhile, Mr. Obama’s reveals:
a very strong sense of his own ego… Obama’s father left the family when [he] was just a young boy… he has two different worlds… his black and white heritage… high intelligence… while… protecting his privacy… he is ambitious, self-confident and views himself as a leader… he can form a coalition, be diplomatic and get along with both sides of the aisle… [he] could tell you to go to hell and you’d enjoy the trip…
And of course Mrs. Clinton proves to be:
a woman of great intelligence… a what-you-see-is-what-you-get personality… she thinks with her head, not with her heart… but there is enough roundness in her writing to show that she cares about people… she’s a perfectionist…
How can anyone doubt the truth of all this?
It is difficult, the experts say, to tell the sex of a person from their handwriting, or to discern if they are left — or right-handed.
And yet they can discern whether they “can reach across the aisle” or not.
What a laff.

Supposedly this is real - however like body language - when you have people, who don’t fit the mold - it gets skewed a bit. I am left handed and among the last of those whom the public educational system attempted to ‘train’ to write correctly (i.e. with my right hand). They actually did me a number of favors as I don’t write like most left handed people do, I can use either hand for many things (which in my pool hustling days was vehemently disputed) and my handwriting is very neat (to avoid detection that I was using the left hand). . .and the same goes with my body language - thanks to my upbringing I have zero personal space which forever is a problem and by men vastly misunderstood. . .
But like all issues today - dumbed down to the American Idol level of stupidity, vapidness and utter uselessness - of what importance is this in choosing a candidate - actions and votes are the primary criteria we should be using - not what someone says about their handwriting.

Isn’t is convenient that the handwriting analysis matches exactly what the MSM’s sentiments are about the Candidates. Gee and I believe them too. NOT! LOL

Same here wardmama. Most of my relatives on my Dad’s side of the family are left handed. Life is geared to suit right handed people though. sigh. Left handed, right brained. :-)

Seems to me that I am usually surprised to find guys with legible hand writing or girls with chicken scratch. I admit that grading hundreds of college student’s homework probably doesn’t make me an “expert” but if I can usually tell the difference I should expect some graphologist to be able to.

This is kind of an interesting topic to me In my job I have to try to interpret orders and notes written by doctors and co-workers. The information can be extremely important, If someone writes in chicken scratch or in a very stylized fashion with big capital letters and the rest just a squiggle it shows a big ego (to me) and a complete disregard for imparting information (the point of it all)-”Here is a sacred sample of my handwriting and my illustrious signature-with a flourish. Let the little peoplle try to decipher it”. And I agree with David that females are usually more legible, although there are plenty of exceptions.

You’re right DEZ, the enablers of the MSM will go to unbelievable lengths to bolster the chosen one(s). Chicken bones, voodoo dolls and sacrificial virgins are likely next in line.
BTW, how the h*ll anyone can read Obamessiah’s signature is beyond me. Are those really letters of the English alphabet? I was thinking Sanskrit or Farsi for a minute there…. ;o)

So who made the best deal with Rezko? Hilary or Obama? looks like maybe Obama.
His handwritting sure was on the wall when he and Wright pulled off that last episode of Conning America. Wright acts the maniac and then goes away? that ain’t in the Wright left or right handwritting.
Obama’s handwritting probably says - Hilary back off, and I’ll give you a Supreme Court seat cause your handwritting is history otherwise.
I happen to think she is beating him - what is it with florida and determining elections? - and that she couldn’t win - what a dam shame Obama’s handwritting wasn’t looked at sooner.
