It worked out quite well for the .001% who had the stomach and cruelty to impose their will on those unable to resist. And being the descendent of gods, or the gods chosen representatives sure has been an effective companion to that cruelty. So what's not to like....if you are a Mullah, a Stalinist, a barbarian, a butcher, a mass-murderer, a sadist, a nazi, a despot, an emperor or one of their modern day admirers. Put a little lipstick on it, and you might even be as pretty as say, a Rahm Emmanuel. Nothing like 100% consistency with the Barberism that dominated the world for 10 millenia.
